Abstract

In Indonesia which consists of various ethnic groups, there are also cultural tattoos. Cultural heritage are found in two ethnic groups in Indonesia, the Dayak in Kalimantan and Mentawai tribe, the Mentawai Islands of inland. The tattoo is a native culture heritage of ancestors who have been there since antiquity. Tattoos for the tribe considered sacred because if they are in the tattoo means will be considered an adult.In   today tattoo has become a reflection for the existence of the society, especially young people.  This get that tattoo is no longer belonged to the clan of thugs and artists, but has become the property of the whole community who love tattoos . The reality shows that the consumption of a tattoo is dominated by young people, both in rural and in urban areas.   On young people in Manado City own tattoos also started a lot of interest. Tattoo enthusiasts not only exist in men, but women have a lot to dare to make the tattoos on his body.The shifting cultural values that were affected by the progress of the era make tattoos for young children into a lifestyle. These changes are caused by the influence of European culture that viewed it a tattoo art, many public figures also use tattoos. Abstract

Jereis the building stones of the composition that is believed to have supernatural powers by residents of North Maluku. Ritual Jere is one of the cultural relics of the megalithic heritage (large stone) is still practiced in the life of the community, North Maluku particularly Tidore. In scientific or archaeological Antiquities subsume Jere building site as the phallus. Commemorative site in General is indeed used as one of the media in religious practice for the community supporting the culture. This study uses qualitative methods, so that research can generate descriptive data that is in the form of words, the source data is written and the photos. The results of the data in the form of the words, able to explain existing problems.Jere ritual or sacred tomb is a pilgrimage to the traditions of the societies that have the dual dimension of Ome, namely as a sacred religious ritual full of meaning and as a cultural tradition. The ritual was entirely related to jere tomb of the people who spread the religion of Islam which were sacred, because he has these advantages that cannot be explained with logic. Goals and purpose of ritual execution because of a strong desire to tawasul (convey greetings) to such person as a mediator who is believed to be able to forward your prayer requests to God, due to the proximity of him with God.Keywords : Jere, religious, ritual

Abstract

There are various rituals and traditions to strengthen the existence of the religion adopted by the people; Because of the various traditions related to the life cycle that flourished and became strong when he had been tradition and culture in The Midst of Community Life, where The Essence of his teaching was included In the tradition of society because nobody has no place in community culture.In today's modern era, traditional rice harvesting ceremonies have begun to change. This is because of the strong influence of globalization on the culture of Modole tribe, including in the tradition of new rice harvesting ceremonies. Where, a comparison of the tradition of indigenous rice harvesting ceremonies a new one decade era at the time with this moment is much different. Abstract

The presence of corporate social responsibility Program (CSR) is a company's social response to the environment in various forms of activities. In addition, its activities are not only oriented to physical development, but there are also in non-physical forms for certain territories. One of the focuses of the non-physical activities of CSR is community empowerment. The goal is to have human resources in the company circles can be independent and skilled.CSR Program PT. Nusa Halmahera Mineral commenced since the enactment of limited liability company number 40 year 2007,  where in article 74 paragraph 1 mentions that a limited liability company that conducts business in the field and or is concerned with Natural resources are obliged to carry out social and environmental responsibilities. Because the purpose of the company in running the business world is not merely pursuing profits or profits only. However, it embodies the welfare of the mining circle community, especially those in the West Kao. Therefore, the CSR program of PT. Nusa Halmahera Mineral is a manifestation of corporate concern to the surrounding environment, while also contributing to the economic development of the Community continually.Community Empowerment undertaken By PT. Nusa Halmahera Mineral through CSR Program is an obligation that must be done by the company for the benefit of the community, but in reality until now The CSR program has not run as it should. Abstract

Marriage is a fundamental necessity run by a man and a woman to legally have a relationship as a married couple. By getting married, a commitment in a relationship will awaken strongly to give each other confidence, compassion, and attention. Married couples expect happiness they can get from marriage. The purpose of marriage is to get happiness, the manifestation of the happiness of a married couple is by establishing a harmonious relationship in his household.Every family would ideally expect the creation of happiness and harmony in his household. But the reality is not always in line with hope again. Tensions and conflicts often arise, disagreements, debates, quarrels, mocking, or even taking the usual time, all of them should be resolved by way of deliberation. The problem in the home although it looks small and trivial but can result in the disruption of the harmony of the husband's relationship to bring about domestic violence.Violence against women in households in the village Pusian Dumoga District Bolaang Mongondow in the form of physical violence is kicking, hitting, thrown using the goods. Non-physical violence is to pronounce profanity, curb, snap and threaten. The latter is economic violence as it is rarely given a living and abandoning families. Abstract

Every ethnic tribe in Indonesia has a distinctive culture that is different from each other. Each culture also has various aspects that contain knowledge and guidelines and life procedures that are invaluable. One such aspect is traditional medicine.One of the Ethnic Groups in Indonesia who still have Knowledge of Traditional Medicine is the Sangihe tribe in Talengen village Tabukan Tengah district of Kepulauan Sangihe Regency of North Sulawesi Province they still maintain, and still rely on traditional medicine either in the form of potions, especially in women after childbirth or the period of sedation. People strongly believe that by means of traditional medicine bakera this disease can be cured quickly and has no side effects.Traditional Bakera Medicine, as a healer revitalizes the weakened body after childbirth, caring for the skin and also the female organs. In addition, bakera treatment also has the meaning of brotherhood because, during the treatment process bakera takes place close relatives come together just to encourage mothers who are doing bakera treatmentTraditional medicine is often regarded as irrational, no size and full of superstitions. It is decreasing public knowledge about traditional medicine bakera, because of the absence of the older generation in providing teachings or writings that support for the preservation of the tradition. Abstract

Living in the city is certainly not easy, especially with the characteristics of urban communities that are individualistic causing competition from each other in obtaining a job, while the available jobs must be adapted to sufficient educational skills and skills. One of the most favorite jobs run by people who don't have a permanent job is to be a busker either individually or in groups because it's easy to earn money.Busking is a fun activity for them because by busking they can channel their hobbies and talents in the field of art. Busker grows up with various social backgrounds, such as broken home children, orphans who are wasted, children whose birth is not desired, or children who have to help the economy of their parents and children who run away from various problems of their families and communities.The daily activities of street buskers in Manado city can be seen everywhere, starting in restaurants, in shop houses, in market 45, and other crowded places.The fate of the complainant is very unfortunate, many times got a rejection that disappointed them. There are still some who accept well the arrival of the buskers. Abstract

Indonesia is a country that is crossed by the equator which makes this country a tropical climate. This gives its own advantages for the people of Indonesia because it is easier to work as a farmer.Palm tree or palm (Arenga pinnata, Arecaceae tribe) is the most important palm after coconut because it is a multipurpose plant. In North Sulawesi this plant is very easy to find because it has climatic and soil conditions that are in accordance with the requirements for growing sugar palm. Palm juice from palm trees is processed by traditional distillation to produce Cap Tikus.The Cap Tikus farmers used to be vegetable farmers who made use of palm trees that grew a lot in Rurukan, the juice of palm trees made of processed brown sugar as additional income for vegetable farmers. Making brown sugar takes a lot of time and energy, so farmers who have the knowledge to produce Cap Tikus choose to switch to making Cap Tikus products as the main source of livelihood because the manufacturing process is fast and easy to do. Cap Tikus farmers have an income that can support family life and better finance children's education, because there are farmers who are able to finance children's education up to tertiary institutions. The income of the farmers adjusts to the needs of the family and depends on the juice of the sugar palm trees produced, and how farmers sell their Cap Tikus. Keywords: farmer, palm, plant

Abstract

The ceremony is an act or celebration which is carried out or carried out as an important event, in its implementation it contains various rules that must be obeyed by indigenous peoples. Abstract

Indonesia has culture and a people who different in all corners of the country. Basically a regions having specific characteristic which special, so that an areas or local utility must have different characteristics from to the region or other areas. With so many is various so that culture in Indonesia grown very much in various regions, because basically culture is important will benefits and could be identity or specific characteristic which distinguish a territory culture. One of culture who still stay there until now is traditional house. Housing is its importance as dwellings activity vernacular by family.This research using the methodology that are descriptive qualitative the aims to describe exactly the properties of a individual, the state of, a symptom or frequency certain the connection between symptoms and symptom of other in society.Meaning that is implied in suggests an idea traditional house creative culture with a characteristic as also in Minahasa traditional house we all know about that the traditional home is the imprint of our ancient ancestors were. The creativity of the Minahasa community made the house customary is a commodity that can produce income especially potters in Woloan Village Tomohon Barat District Tomohon City. Often see an order from outside the area foreign until, with size on demand consumer but does not standard change Minahasa traditional house.
