Abstract

This study aimed to explain about the role of women inRambu solo ritual procession at Pitung Penanian village, Rantebua district, Toraja Utara regency. The author used qualitative research method that carried out by descriptiveits given concept and explanation properly about role of womenin rambu solo ritual procession at Toraja Utara and supported by primer data andsecondary data. Data collect technique that used was interview and observation. The result of the study shown that procession of Rambu solo ritual atTondon Mamullu village, Makale district, Toraja Utara regency from thepreparation, implementation until the funeral procession, the women also play arole and contribute. it can be shown by offering few of buffalos and pigs, andsome given groceries. The women also participated in family meeting to talkabout the heirs, the degree of tne ritual that will be held, the place of the ritual andprovide sacrificial animals. Abstract

Status is the position of a person in a group and its relationship with other members in that group, or the position of a group compared to other groups that are more numerous. Because one's position in a group is related to what he does, or is expected to do, then status is closely related to role. In a family the role of a housewife is very important in order to improve the social status of the family. The role is usually performed by the head of the household, but with all the limitations cause housewives to intervene to help the husbands. This is a common phenomenon no exception for housewives who are in the Kelurahan Bahu District of Malalayang, Manado City.From the results of the study, the researchers concluded that from the four aspects seen about social status, only aspects in various unions were considered not too important, the informants prioritized the primary need to improve their family's social status.Keywords: housewife, social status, family

Abstract

The problem of population density, development speed, uneven spread, relatively low average productivity, unemployment and the problem of the workforce, has long been the center of attention and is part of the improvement target in Indonesia's development strategy. One such development program is through transmigration. Population density in the island of Java Madura, Bali and Lombok, compared to the distance from other islands in Indonesia, the population inequality is very large. Therefore, the population equality is continuously encouraged one of them with the transmigration program.The implementation integrates various related programs in both economic, social and cultural areas. With such an idea, the development of Transmigration has a feature of social development introduced, especially in integrating economic development with social development to realize social welfare.Korobonde Village is one of the transmigration villages located in Lembo sub-district, Morowali Utara Regency, Sulawesi Tengah Province, the transmigrants who came to Korobonde village are those of the Jawa Tengah, and the Jawa Timur.With the connectivity and cultural dependence of migrant citizen and local residents, especially in the field of percentage, social life is happening in every day, social fieldomi is a major factor in the process of social integration, cooperation between local ethnicity and migrant citizen is a mixture of several ethnic groups that exist in Korobonde village. Keywords: integration, fulfillment needs, transmigration

Abstract

Globalization is all about the aspect of human life, one of the important aspects of globalization's influence is lifestyle change. Individuals who rapidly absorb information developments will tend to behave following the era of globalization. Fashion becomes one of the target individuals who have a desire to follow the trend, various media such as magazines, television, even many internet sites that offer the desired products. The change in fashion happens periodically tends to form individuals into consumptive up to the very frequent stages of spending intensity.In addition to lifestyle shopping community or family lifestyle can also be seen in daily activities. For example in the form of the social gathering they compete, there is no shopping at home but filling the social gathering like weekly, Monthly and others. While the lifestyle through consumptive life patterns can be seen from the way of shopping the community to meet the basic needs, both food, clothing, housing and others. Style.The consumptive life pattern is the desire to consume items that are less needed excessively just to find the satisfaction side. Indeed, consumptive behavior has a lot of negative effects than positive. Abstract

Dampak wabah virus Corona (Covid-19) tidak hanya merugikan sisi kesehatan. Virus yang bermula dari Kota Wuhan, Tiongkok, ini bahkan turut mempengaruhi perekonomian negara-negara di seluruh dunia, tak terkecuali Indonesia. Ekonomi global dipastikan melambat, menyusul penetapan dari WHO yang menyebutkan wabah Corona sebagai pandemi yang mempengaruhi dunia usaha. Pemerintah dan kita semua harus terus menangani aspek kesehatan pandemi terburuk sepanjang hidup ini, maka sudah kita ketahui bersama pula bahwa corona memberi dampak amat besar pada sektor ekonomi dan sosial di dunia. Dan ini tentunya harus ditanggulangi dengan penuh perhatian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mengetahui Dampak Ekonomi Masyarakat Di Masa Pandemi Covid 19 Di Distrik Kaimana Kabupaten Kaimana Propinsi Papua Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Lokasi Penelitan adalah Distrik Kaimana Kabupaten Kaimana Provinsi Papua Barat. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan Adanya pandemi Covid-19 yang melanda dunia telah mempengaruhi pola kehidupan ekonomi masyarakat secara signifikan, mulai dari pendapatan yang diterima, pola pengeluaran untuk kehidupan sehari-hari, lapangan pekerjaan, dan kebiasaan belanja yang didominasi oleh belanja untuk makanan dan kehidupan sehari-hari serta adanya kebiasaan baru berbelanja on line Kata kunci: Dampak Ekonomi, Covid-19

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan hal terpenting dalam hidup kita, artinya setiap orang Indonesia berhak untuk menikmatinya dan diharapkan selalu berkembang di dalamnya. Melalui pendidikan seseorang dapat memperoleh pengetahuan, baik melalui pendidikan formal maupun pendidikan nonformal.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab anak putus sekolah di Desa Sonuo Kecamatan Bolangitang Barat Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow Utara. Dalam penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Dimana peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk menjelaskan penyebab anak putus sekolah di Desa Sonuo Kecamatan Bolangitang Barat. Penentuan informan telah ditentukan sebanyak 9 informan yang terdiri dari 1). Kepala Sekolah/Guru di Desa Sonuo 2). Orang tua dari anak yang putus sekolah dan 3). Anak putus sekolah. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif.Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan penelusuran data di lapangan, peneliti menyimpulkan sebagai berikut: bahwa penyebab anak putus sekolah di Desa Sonuo Kecamatan Bolangitang Barat disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor seperti kurangnya minat anak untuk sekolah, ekonomi orang tua, dukungan keluarga, dan faktor yang mempengaruhi masyarakat dan lingkungan sosial. Keadaan ekonomi orang tua menjadi faktor putus sekolah karena kurangnya dana untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sekolah anak, dan rasa kasihan yang muncul pada anak sehingga memutuskan untuk tidak melanjutkan sekolah. Kurangnya motivasi anak bersekolah menjadi faktor penyebab anak putus sekolah karena kurangnya dorongan dan semangat anak dalam belajar membuat anak malas dan tidak mau melanjutkan sekolah, dan lingkungan masyarakat menjadi faktornya. menyebabkan anak putus sekolah karena anak terpengaruh pergaulan teman yang tidak sekolah atau tamat, tetapi masih menganggur. Kata Kunci: Faktor Penyebab, Anak Luar Sekolah

Abstract

Indonesia memiliki sumberdaya alam dan sumberdaya manusia yang cukup besar sebagai modal dasar pembangunan Pariwisata. Dalam pengembangan  Pariwisata tentu tidak dapat terlepas dari situasi perubahan yang terjadi baik ditingkat Nasional Regional maupun Internasional yang saling mempengaruhi.  Banyak manfaat dan dampak dari pengembangan Pariwisata apabila  dikelola secara baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan : Untuk mengetahui   peran Masyarakat Desa Joubela dalam pengembangan Museum Perang Dunia ke II untuk dijadikan Desa Wisata unggulan di Kabupaten Pulau Morotai. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif ,  dengan mengambil petunjuk pada apa yang dikemukakan oleh  Sendari (2019). Penentuan Informan ditetapkan sebanyak 8 Informan  sedangkan teknik analisis data maka penulis menggunakan pendekatan teknik Kualitatif.  Dari hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa  bahwa, dengan hadirnya museum swadaya perang dunia II di desa joubela, berdampak positif bagi masyarakat setempat dan juga dalam hal ini masyarakat sangat antusias berpartisipasi dalam mengelola museum swadaya ini. akan tetapi kurangnya penyuluhan hingga kebanyakan masyarakat desa joubela masih belum ikut serta dalam proses pengembangan museum untuk dijadikan desa Joubela menjadi desa wisata unggulan di kabupaten pulau morotai. Selain itu bahwa kelayakan suatu desa untuk dijadikan desa wisata haruslah memenuhi karakteristik desa wisata itu sendiri. dalam hal ini desa joubela telah memenuhi karakteristik desa wisata yaitu dengan adanya Museum Swadaya yang menampilkan objek-objek wisata bersejarah, masyarakat desa joubela juga harus mengetahui tata cara pengembangan desa wisata dan factor-faktor yang mendukung pegembangan desa wisata tersebut. Kata Kunci: Peran, Masyarakat, Museum, Desa Wisata

Abstract

This research explores the social construction within the "Friends with Benefits" (FWB) relationships among young people in the city of Manado. Employing a qualitative method involving in-depth interviews and participatory observation, the study reveals that the FWB concept extends beyond the physical dimension, encompassing emotional and social aspects. Young individuals in FWB relationships in Manado tend to construct the meaning and boundaries of these relationships in alignment with local cultural values. Within the dynamics of FWB, adjustments and reinterpretations of existing social norms are evident, creating a space acceptable within society. The ambiguity in FWB relationship boundaries highlights the ongoing process of social construction, reflecting the dynamics of modern young interpersonal relationships. These findings provide profound insights into the complexity of social constructions in FWB within the local cultural context, emphasizing the importance of understanding shifts in norms and values in interpersonal relationships.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the implementation of the Public Transportation Tariff policy in North Sulawesi Province, especially on the Manado - Langowan route transportation. This research was conducted from March to May 2023. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Informants used in this study were taken using purposive sampling technique totaling 16 people. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. The research focused on aspects of policy content and policy environment. Data analysis is done by reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the policy focused on the basis and purpose of implementation illustrated that the basis for implementing public transportation tariff policies in North Sulawesi Province without exception on the Manado-Langowan route was based on Governor's regulation Number 303 of 2022 where through the Governor's regulation it was issued intended to adjust city transportation rates in the province of economy class including for public vehicles and taxis. Implementation of public transport tariff policies in North Sulawesi Province for the Manado-Langowan route, the government plays a full role in setting tariffs where its implementation is supported by drivers and passengers as policy users.
