Abstract

Penelitian ini mendesain produk setrika listrik dengan fitur-fitur yang sesuai dengan keinginan dan kepuasan penggunanya. Untuk mengetahui fitur-fitur yang diinginkan oleh pengguna, dilakukan wawancara tentang tanggapan dan usulan desain setrika sebagai perbaikan dari produk setrika listrik yang telah beredar di pasaran. Output dari tahapan ini adalah Voice of Customer. Setelah diperoleh voice of customer, maka dicari tingkat kepentingan tiap fitur tersebut menggunakan metode KANO. Dari pengolahan dengan metode KANO diperoleh 6 fitur dengan tingkat kepuasan attractive dan one-dimentional yang sangat perlu untuk dikembangkan, yaitu fitur ringan, gagang nyaman dipegang, tahan lama, ringan, kesesuaian warna, serta hemat listrik. Fitur keamanan berfokus pada alas setrika/konduktor yang dibuat dengan sistem yang dapat digerakkan naik turun dengan menggunakan pegas, sehingga bagian panas setrika hanya dapat keluar dari kerangka luar jika mendapat tekanan dari penggunanya. Dengan sistem ini, setrika menjadi lebih aman untuk digunakan. Fitur gagang nyaman digenggam dibuat dengan memanfaatkan aspek ergonomi. Fitur tahan lama dan ringan ditentukan dari material yang digunakan, yaitu ebonit sebagai kerangka luar dan aluminium sebagai konduktor alas setrika. Kesesuaian warna pada setrika dipilih dengan warna yang tidak terlalu mencolok serta memenuhi aspek psikologis manusia. Untuk menghemat listrik, digunakan pengontrol suhu/panas, sehingga dapat disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan pengguna.

Abstract

PT. Central Sarana Pancing is a company engaged in the manufacturing of fishing line and various fishing accessories. From the results of field observations that have been carried out, dyeing division is the division with the highest number of defects. From the define stage, the defects that occur in the string dyeing process are pigment sticking defects with a percentage of 49%, 38% non-standard color, 12% creasing, and 2% non-standard strength. From the DPMO calculation, Motorola's sigma value is 3.36, which means that the dyeing division is in the industry average category with a fairly large amount of quality costs, namely 25-40% of sales. From the analysis stage, the defects that occur are mostly caused by human or operator factors. Therefore, for the prevention and repair of defects is by improving the performance and accuracy of operators and employees must receive training and education in understanding the entire process being carried out. In addition, SOPs will be made for the improvements that will be carried out as a reference for employees in carrying out the production process at PT. Central Fishing Facilities. As for the mechanical aspect, it is necessary to clean working tools and machines and maintain them regularly.

Abstract

Fake eyelashes are made in Indonesia by a variety of industries. There are issues within the company that have an impact on the output. Waste issues in the manufacture of fake eyelashes are the cause of inconsistent production output, such as flaws in the goods, waiting times, and improper processing. A lean manufacturing approach is required to find a solution to the issues that PT. X is experiencing as a result of the data model. The Value Stream Mapping (VSM) method, the Activity Based Costing (ABC) method integration, the Value Stream Analysis Tools (VALSAT) method calculation, the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) method, and then gives recommendations for improvement. The use of continuous flow, task combinations, and the delivery of raw materials once each week are all suggested improvements. When current cost integrated value stream mapping is compared to future cost integrated value stream mapping, the production lead time drops from 0.5 days to 0.36 days, the total value-added cost drops from 2.049 to 1.561, the total non-value-added cost drops from 12.754 to 11.243, and the travel distance drops from 99 meters to 79 meters.

Abstract

PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk is a construction company tasked with carrying out the Makassar New Port (MNP) Toll Access Road Construction Project. The project realization schedule was delayed, which had a negative impact on the Company. Solving this problem can be done using the CPM (Critical Path Method) method. This method is a method for planning and supervising system projects that use network formation principles. The results of the calculation analysis were carried out manually and using the help of POM and QM software. The results obtained from processing data on the duration of work on the construction of the Makassar New Port Access Toll Road used the CPM method, where with this method the results of work were obtained for 36 calendar weeks with a time acceleration of 2 weeks from the results of work carried out by the company. And by using CPM you can find out in more detail the critical activities and non-critical activities which, if used effectively, will provide sufficient opportunity to schedule project activities.
