Abstract

Abstract Practical work is one of the requirements for taking the final project (thesis) in the Architectural Engineering Study Program. Practical Work Performed by students majoring in Architecture for approximately four (4) months to carry out activities on certain construction projects that are related to the field of architecture such as planning, implementation and supervision of institutions outside the campus in this case the Contractor or Planning Consultant. This research is to find out whether students in carrying out the Final Project also apply the experience gained while carrying out practical work. Based on the above background, we are very interested in proposing and trying to do research with the title "The Role of Practical Work Subjects in Engineering Student Program Final Project". This research was conducted in several stages, namely the survey stage, the data processing stage, and the conclusion drawing stage. In the survey stage, primary data collection is carried out by making a comparison between the Job Training Report and the Final Task Report. Comparisons were made at several universities which according to the plan would be chosen as sampling locations, namely: Bung Karno University, Pancasila University, Indonesian Christian University and "YAI" University. The second stage, data processing is done using the method of raising the sample, the method of analysis, and testing the hypothesis. The last stage was drawing conclusions about the Role of Practical Work Subjects in the Final Project of the Architectural Engineering Study Program.

Abstract

Ketapang Village is located on the sea coast of Mauk District, Tangerang Regency, which has residential environmental characteristics that tend to be closely related to poverty and illegal land use. Slum settlements are caused by the inability of the poor to get proper housing, causing them to illegally occupy land along the riverbanks owned by the Tangerang District Fisheries Service. With the PEMSEA program in 2022, infrastructure development for mangrove conservation and ecotourism in Ketapang Waters is of course accompanied by regional planning, with improving the quality of slum settlements on the banks of the river leading to the beach. The arrangement of the slum settlement area is through relocation to land that is not far from the location where he lives because the legality of residential land is unclear. In an effort to overcome these obstacles, it is necessary to socialize and assist in understanding the community regarding relocation activities. The socialization method consists of two initial activities, namely data collection on project-affected residents and the process of implementing education and outreach activities through relocation assistance. The results of the outreach: the mechanism for planning and implementing relocation in Ketapang Village did not run smoothly, namely some residents affected by the project refused to relocate, so an approach was taken through socialization so that residents affected by the project were willing to sign a letter of intention to move to a new place of residence.

Abstract

In relation to the role and purpose of community service, especially for prisoners at the North Jakarta Metro Police as mentioned above, there is an interesting phenomenon that has been implemented by a team of lecturers from Bung Karno University Jakarta by formally organizing a Community Service program in the prisoners' meeting room with the theme "Ongoing Activities for Legal Awareness Development and Community Empowerment in the Perspective of the Importance of Noble Morals at the North Jakarta Metro Police" on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 as a means of development and empowerment for these prisoners. The demands of economic life and the lack of skills in empowering themselves make it difficult to get decent work to meet their living needs. In this regard, moral values greatly influence these things. This factor is one of the triggers for carrying out various methods including deviant actions that violate the law.

Abstract

The Tangerang Regency Housing, Settlement and Cemetery Service (DPPP) supports regional performance achievements in improving environmental management for sustainable development, especially in the residential infrastructure sector. The 2024 RTLH Program, still the Tangerang Regency's Leading Program in the Sub-districts, aims to help people living in houses whose conditions do not meet health and safety standards. The impact of RLTH on residents/recipients of assistance includes social and economic effects. The role of all parties is vital, and the community's increased participation in the successful development that has been implemented can be felt by the community in developing Tangerang Regency. One of the roles in the success of the RTLH program in Tangerang Regency is the Field Facilitator (TFL), who collaborates with experts, both technical and empowerment, and the RTLH Community Forum (Formas) to improve RTLH development. TFL assistance and evaluation are for DPPP recommendations on TFL performance. The method of implementing evaluation activities uses several techniques, namely observation, interviews, discussions, written tests and documentation. From the evaluation results carried out by experts and representatives of the Tangerang Regency DPPP, it was found that 4 (four) TFL workers out of 23 TFLs were absent and received the lowest score. TFLs who are absent are deemed not to have committed to carrying out the duties and responsibilities that have been determined and agreed upon.

Abstract

The construction of the Gebrak Pakumis House is part of the commitment of the Tangerang Regency Government which is managed by the Tangerang Regency Housing and Settlement Service in the renovation program for uninhabitable houses belonging to poor residents. Balaraja District, Tangerang Regency, which borders directly with DKI Jakarta Province, is one of the many destinations for migrants outside the residential areas of residents who work around the area. Residential land is getting narrower day by day because most of the area is used as residential areas, causing slum settlements to form. The Uninhabitable House Rehabilitation Activity involves builders who will carry out house construction activities. The builders still have high hopes that this Uninhabitable House Rehabilitation Activity can fully assist in renovating uninhabitable houses into habitable houses that meet the requirements. Location of outreach activities Providing information to builders about the implementation of Rehabilitation construction for Uninhabitable Houses. Preparation method, coordination, identification and verification of residents' houses included in the list of potential aid recipients (CPB), making planning drawings, socializing craftsmen, discussions. In socialization activities, more time is needed because many craftsmen still have minimal understanding of construction, although some craftsmen already have quite a lot of experience. As a result of this socialization, craftsmen understand more about implementation drawings, which in previous activities relied on experience. With the results obtained from this socialization, craftsmen need technical guidance to increase the knowledge and competence of craftsmen to ensure the implementation of Regulation of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1 of 2023
