Abstract

Abstract

During lectures, students must manage increasing assignments, leading to delays in task completion. Academic procrastination is the intentional postponement of tasks, influenced significantly by time management. This quantitative cross-sectional study analyzes the relationship between time management and academic procrastination among 141 Nursing Faculty students at Sultan Agung Islamic University, Semarang. Using simple random sampling, data were collected via questionnaires on time management (24 statements) and procrastination (14 statements). Spearman rank correlation analysis found most respondents had moderate time management (70.2%) and procrastination levels (72.3%). A significant negative correlation was identified (p = 0.000, r = -0.383), indicating that better time management reduces academic procrastination.

Abstract

ICU-Acquired Weakness (ICU-AW) common in critically ill patient on ventilator. This can be caused by several factors, one of which is immobilisation. ICU-AW is at risk for increased ventilator duration and mortality. This literature review aims to evaluate the positive impact of early mobilization for ICU-AW in the critically ill on a ventilator. This study used a literature review of national and international journal in Indonesia and English published between 2020-2025. This research uses several available database sources in e-resources : Pubmed, ScinceDirect, Google Scholar and Sematic Scholar. The researchers searched the literature using the keywords ”early mobilization” and “intensive care unit-Acquired Weakness” with the PCC approach. The researchers identified 864 journals, analysed them using the PRISMA method and found 10 journals that met the inclusion criteria. Out of 83 journals, 10 journals showed results that early mobilisation was effective in reducing ICU-AW in ventilator-dependent patients. Based on journal analysis, early mobilization is effective in reducing ICU-AW in patients on ventilators

Patient loyalty is an important indicator of the success of a healthcare facility. Building patient loyalty is not an easy task. Many factors influence a patient's decision to remain loyal to a healthcare facility. Objective: This study aims to identify and analyze various factors that influence patient loyalty in health services. Methods: This research uses a literature study approach by reviewing national and international articles published in the period 2020-2024. The articles selected were limited to scientific publications available in full-text format and freely accessible. Literature sources were obtained from three main databases, namely Google Scholar, PubMed, and SciSpace. The search strategy was carried out using keywords based on the PICO (Population, Intervention, Comparison, Outcome) framework, such as “health services”, “factors” and patient loyalty”, resulting in 615 articles. The process of analyzing articles using PRISMA, searching and filtering journal articles began by identifying 615 articles from three main databases, Google Scholar (401 articles), PubMed (7 articles), and SciSpace (207 articles). At the initial stage, duplicate articles were eliminated, and the number of articles remaining after this screening was 107. In the screening process from this stage, 84 articles were excluded because they did not meet the predetermined criteria, so only 23 articles entered the next stage. At the eligibility stage, further selection was carried out by considering the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Of the 23 articles screened, 13 did not meet the criteria and were excluded from the selection process. In the end, only 10 articles met all the requirements and were included in the further review stage. Results: Analysis of the literature review patient loyalty in using health services is influenced by factors of service quality, price, communication, and trust.

Abstract

As many as 50% of adverse events in hospitals occur during the handover of patient information. There are several things that can affect handover quality, including knowledge, motivation, resources, peer support and supervision from the head of the room. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors of knowledge, motivation and supervision that affect the quality of handover in nurses at Sari Asih Serang Hospital. This research is quantitative, the type of survey research approach used is cross sectional. The sample in this study was collected from a population of 135 inpatient nurses at Sari Asih Serang Hospital. The number of samples was determined using the Slovin formula, obtained a sample of 101 nurses selected using purposive sampling technique, deliberate selection of samples based on criteria relevant to the research objectives. inclusion criteria include nurses who are willing to become respondents, aged 21-55 years, and work in the inpatient room. While the exclusion criteria were nurses who resigned, were absent due to illness, leave, or other reasons during the study. The multivariate analysis test used is multiple logistic regression. It is known that the supervision variable is confounding. There is a significant relationship between motivation and handover quality in nurses at Sari Asih Serang Hospital with a p value of 0.015 (p <  0.05) and there is a significant relationship between supervision and handover quality in nurses at Sari Asih Serang Hospital with a p value of 0.016 (p <  0.05). The most dominant variable affecting handover quality is knowledge with an OR of 3.993 after being controlled by supervision of the head of the room.

Mentoring and training are effective strategies to improve nurses' knowledge, skills, and compliance in documenting nursing care accurately and systematically. Objectives: This study aims to analyze the impact of mentoring and training on improving the quality of nursing care documentation. Methods: This study used a literature study approach by reviewing national and international articles published in the period 2019-2025. The articles selected were full-text and open access scientific publications. Literature sources were obtained from three main databases, namely Google Scholar, PubMed, and SciSpace. The search strategy used the PICO (Population, Intervention, Comparison, Outcome) framework with keywords such as "mentoring", "training", "documentation quality", and "nursing care", resulting in 534 articles. The article analysis process followed the PRISMA flow. At the initial stage, duplication was eliminated, leaving 127 articles. Further screening excluded 92 articles that were not relevant or did not meet the inclusion criteria. The remaining 35 articles were screened for eligibility by considering the focus of mentoring and training interventions on nursing documentation. After this stage, only 10 articles met all criteria and were further analyzed in this review.
