Abstract

The world of education continues to change along with the development of technology and informatics. Changes have positive and negative impacts on the world of education. Currently school-age children enter the Z generation (2001-2010). Generation Z children are used to using technology and cannot be separated from smartphones and social media. The characteristic of Generation Z is that learning must be concise, practical and visual. The use of mobile phones for learning media can be one of the innovations in learning. The existence of a stimulus from learning media gives a positive response in the form of student learning motivation. This is in line with behavioristic theory which focuses on student behavior. The research objective is the application of behavioristic theory to students' learning motivation using learning media. The method used is a qualitative description using research instruments in the form of interviews, questionnaires. The subjects of this study were class VI students who would take their final school exams at Kiyaran 2 Public Elementary School. The results of this study were an increase in students' learning motivation by using learning media. From the initial conditions the average student motivation of 67 increased to 77 in cycle I and 85 in cycle II.

Abstract

AbstrakKesepian adalah masalah yang sering dihadapi oleh remaja, dan manusia sebagai makhluk sosial cenderung menghindarinya. Banyak mahasiswa menggunakan aplikasi dating online sebagai cara untuk berafiliasi dengan orang lain dan mengatasi rasa kesepian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris hubungan antara Kebutuhan Afiliasi dan Loneliness pada pengguna aplikasi dating online di kalangan mahasiswa Universitas Mercu Buana Yogyakarta. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah adanya hubungan positif antara Kebutuhan Afiliasi dan Loneliness. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 50 mahasiswa pengguna aplikasi dating online. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan dua skala: skala Kebutuhan Afiliasi dan skala Loneliness. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan korelasi product moment Pearson melalui program SPSS 25.0 for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai r = 0,378 dengan p = 0,007 (p < 0,05), yang mengindikasikan bahwa hipotesis diterima. Sumbangan efektif Kebutuhan Afiliasi terhadap Loneliness sebesar 14,3%, sedangkan 85,7% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diukur dalam penelitian ini. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menemukan adanya hubungan positif antara Kebutuhan Afiliasi dan Loneliness pada pengguna aplikasi dating online di kalangan mahasiswa Universitas Mercu Buana Yogyakarta. Kata Kunci: Loneliness, Kebutuhan Afiliasi, Mahasiswa

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between mental toughness and peak performance. The hypothesis proposed in this study is whether positive relationship between mental toughness and peak performance among the athletes who join the Speed ​​Athletic Club Yogyakarta. The population were 52 athletes, with sampling technique was a saturated sample, (where all members of the population became the research sample). Data were analyzed by product moment correlation from Pearson with SPSS 23 for Windows program. The results showed r = 0.836 with a value of p = 0.000 (p <0.05), meaning that the hypothesis is accepted. This study found a positive and significant relationship between mental toughness and peak performance in athletes in the speed athletic club. The effective contribution of mental toughness to peak performance is 69.9% and the remaining 30.1% is influenced by other factors not measured in this study.

Abstract

Early family dynamics and upbringing play a vital role in shaping adult relationship patterns. Childhood experiences—such as emotional climate, communication styles, and parental interactions—can significantly influence how individuals develop trust, manage emotions, and resolve conflicts later in life. This study employed a descriptive survey design to examine how these early influences affect adult relationships among 101 participants aged 18 and above in Anambra State, Nigeria. A stratified random sampling method ensured representation across age and gender. Data were collected through the validated Family Dynamics and Adult Relationship Patterns Scale (FDARPS), using a 4-point Likert scale (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0.77). Findings revealed that parenting style (M = 3.02), sibling relationships (M = 2.65), and childhood attachment (M = 2.52) significantly shaped adult interpersonal styles, while early interactions and family stability had less impact. Positive upbringing elements—such as parental support (M = 2.97), role models (M = 2.87), and early encouragement (M = 2.88)—fostered healthy relationships, whereas open communication (M = 1.77) was less influential. Common adaptive strategies among those with dysfunctional family backgrounds included mindfulness (M = 3.08), support groups (M = 3.06), and therapy (M = 3.01). ANOVA results indicated significant effects of age and age-gender interactions, but not gender alone. The study concludes that early family experiences significantly shape adult relational outcomes. It recommends that families, educators, and counselors emphasize emotional support, healthy communication, and positive role modeling to nurture stronger future relationships.

Abstract

Progam Kampus Mengajar merupakan progam kerjasama antara Kementrian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan dan Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi dan numerasi pada siswa, Adaptasi Teknologi dan Administrasi Sekolah baik jenjang Sekolah Dasar maupun Sekolah Menengah Pertama yang dalam pelaksanaannya melibatkan mahasiswa di dalamnya. Keterlibatan tersebut tentunya membutuhkan kemampuan public speaking mahasiswa di dalam nya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang dalam pengumpulan datanya menggunakan metode observasi partisipan dan juga wawancara. Sedangkan Pendekatan dalam penelitiaan ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Jumlah subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 3 orang mahasiswa peserta progam Kampus Mengajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Gambaran Kemampuan Public Speaking Mahasiswa Progam Kampus Mengajar angkatan 2 di SMPN 3 Samigaluh. Hasil penelitian ini, menunjukkan bahwa Kemampuan Public Speaking pada Mahasiswa Progam Kampus Mengajar yang menitikberatkan pada aspek kebahasaan yang terdiri dari pilihan kata, ketepatan ucapan juga sasaran pembicaraan serta aspek non kebahasaan yang terdiri dari sikap, mimik wajah, kenyaringan suara, kelancaran suara, kelancaran kata dan juga penguasaan topik. Dari kedua aspek tersebut, kemampuan public speaking mahasiswa progam Kampus Mengajar dapat dikatakan tidak seimbang karena beberapa indikator dari masing-masing aspek tidak terpenuhi sepenuhnya. Selain ditinjau dari segi aspek, peneliti juga menemukan faktor eksternal seperti pergaulan dan faktor internal seperti jenis pita suara yang ikut mempengaruhi Kemampuan Public Speaking Mahasiswa Progam Kampus Mengajar SMPN 3 Samigaluh
