Abstract

Rendahnya literasi digital dapat meningkatkan risiko terpaparnya dampak negatif dari penggunaan gadget dan internet seperti mudah terprovokasi oleh hoaks, \textit{cyberbullying}, dan ujaran kebencian. Diperlukan sebuah upaya untuk meningkatkan literasi digital di kalangan masyarakat khususnya anak-anak, karena di usia tersebut anak masih rentan dan membutuhkan pendampingan dari orang dewasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh psikoedukasi “Cerdas Menggunakan Gadget dan Internet untuk Anak” dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman literasi digital anak. Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimen acak dengan menggunakan\textit{ pre-post control group design}. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini merupakan anak berusia 9-11 pada sebuah SD di Yogyakarta yang dibagi secara acak ke dalam kelompok eksperimen (n = 38) dan kontrol (n = 38). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan tentang penggunaan gadget dan internet yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol (t = 2,079, p = 0,041, p {\textless} 0,05) dengan rata-rata kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi (n = 38, M = 1,816, SD = 1,74) daripada kelompok kontrol (n = 38, M = 0,921, SD = 2,01).

Abstract

Introduction/Main Objectives: This paper examines the Kampus Mengajar (KM) program, a government initiative aimed at addressing learning loss among primary students in Indonesia due to the COVID-19 pandemic while enhancing the soft skills of college students by giving them teaching experience in schools. Background Problems: The issues investigated in this study are how Kampus Mengajar facilitates the development of social awareness and social responsibility among its participants and its relation to leadership potential. Novelty: This paper analyses the Kampus Mengajar program, its impact on developing social awareness and social responsibility, and its correlation with leadership potential among its participants. While the previous batch focused on its impact in addressing learning loss, more research needs to be done on its potential to enhance socioemotional skills. Research Methods: The research method used in this paper is a qualitative analysis of survey data as primary data and a monitoring report as secondary. The data were analysed using thematic analysis to identify keys related to social awareness and social responsibility themes. Finding/Results: The empirical findings suggest that while Kampus Mengajar does facilitate the development of social awareness among its participants, it may not necessarily facilitate social responsibility. Conclusion: The study concludes that Kampus Mengajar facilitates the development of social awareness among its participants but may need to be supplemented with additional interventions to enhance social responsibility. This study has also indicated that implementing socio-emotional learning at schools, which facilitates social awareness, has increased participants' leadership potential.

Abstract

Perkembangan sosioemosional merupakan aspek yang penting untuk distimulasi sejak anak usia dini. Meskipun demikian, belum banyak orang tua maupun kader Bina Keluarga Balita (BKB) yang memahami cara mendampingi perkembangan sosioemosional anak melalui emotion coaching. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektivitas pelatihan dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan emotion coaching kader BKB. Pelatihan terdiri dari empat sesi yang dilaksanakan dalam dua pertemuan. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menggunakan desain one group pretest-posttest dengan membandingkan skor pengetahuan antara sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan. Subjek yang terlibat dalam pengabdian ini terdiri dari 28 orang anggota BKB Kepanewon Prambanan. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu test, kemudian data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi bootstrapping, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan pendampingan sosioemosional anak usia dini berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap pengetahuan kader terkait sosioemosional anak usia dini. Penelitian ini berimplikasi peningkatan pengetahuan kader mengenai cara-cara mendampingi perkembangan sosioemosional anak usia dini, serta membuka kesempatan bagi program-program peningkatan kapasitas Kader BKB yang lain, sehingga aspek perkembangan anak bisa dipahami secara umum, tidak hanya sekedar aspek kesehatan fisik saja.

Abstract

Early family dynamics and upbringing play a vital role in shaping adult relationship patterns. Childhood experiences—such as emotional climate, communication styles, and parental interactions—can significantly influence how individuals develop trust, manage emotions, and resolve conflicts later in life. This study employed a descriptive survey design to examine how these early influences affect adult relationships among 101 participants aged 18 and above in Anambra State, Nigeria. A stratified random sampling method ensured representation across age and gender. Data were collected through the validated Family Dynamics and Adult Relationship Patterns Scale (FDARPS), using a 4-point Likert scale (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0.77). Findings revealed that parenting style (M = 3.02), sibling relationships (M = 2.65), and childhood attachment (M = 2.52) significantly shaped adult interpersonal styles, while early interactions and family stability had less impact. Positive upbringing elements—such as parental support (M = 2.97), role models (M = 2.87), and early encouragement (M = 2.88)—fostered healthy relationships, whereas open communication (M = 1.77) was less influential. Common adaptive strategies among those with dysfunctional family backgrounds included mindfulness (M = 3.08), support groups (M = 3.06), and therapy (M = 3.01). ANOVA results indicated significant effects of age and age-gender interactions, but not gender alone. The study concludes that early family experiences significantly shape adult relational outcomes. It recommends that families, educators, and counselors emphasize emotional support, healthy communication, and positive role modeling to nurture stronger future relationships.
