Abstract

Community Education Levels in 3 Villages namely: Gosong East Telaga Village, Ketapang Indah Village, Kampung Baru Village in North Singkil District, Aceh Singkil District are very low, but the level of participation in the direct election of the Village Head in North Singkil District is high. The high voter turnout reaches 60%, while the low voters value 40%. The high level of electoral participation generated by the participation of low-educated people involved with contributions and elections during the Direct Election of the Village Head. This paper wants to explain about the communitarian culture that is very strong in society so that it encourages politics for a sense of family, and encourages people to vote not because of rationality. Thus there was no education participation in the number of community participation in the village head election in 3 Singkil Utara Sub-Districts, Aceh Singkil District.

Abstract

Transportasi ikan merupakan salah satu penunjang kegiatan produksi dalam bidang perikanan. Faktor pembatas transportasi adalah adanya jarak waktu yang cukup jauh antara usaha pembenihan ikan dengan usaha kegiatan pendederan dan pembesaran sehingga menimbulkan peningkatan metabolisme tubuh ikan yang mengakibatkan tingginya mortalitas/kematian ikan selama transportasi. Minyak sereh memiliki zat aktif yang mampu menurunkan metabolisme di dalam tubuh ikan sehingga tubuh ikan menjadi lebih tenang. Tujuan penelitian transportasi ini adalah menganalisa pemberian minyak sereh dosis berbeda dengan penambahan garam, karbon aktif dan zeolit guna meningkatkan kelangsungan hidup benih ikan patin. Metode yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap yang terdiri dari lima perlakuan dan tiga ulangan yaitu: Perlakuan K: Tanpa dosis minyak sereh, garam, karbon aktif dan zeolit; Perlakuan A: Minyak sereh dosis 0 mg/L, garam dosis 6 g/L, karbon aktif dosis 10 g, dan zeolit dosis 20 g; Perlakuan B: Minyak sereh dosis 3,5 mg/L, garam dosis 6 g/L, karbon aktif dosis 10 g, dan zeolit dosis 20 g; Perlakuan C: Minyak sereh dosis 7 mg/L, garam dosis 6 g/L, karbon aktif dosis 10 g, dan zeolit dosis 20 g; Perlakuan D: Minyak sereh dosis 10,5 mg/L, garam dosis 6 g/L, karbon aktif dosis 10 g, dan zeolit dosis 20 g. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan minyak sereh dosis 7 mg/L, garam dosis 6 g/L, karbon aktif dosis 10 g, dan zeolit dosis 20 g memperoleh tingkat kelangsungan hidup benih ikan patin sebesar 86,67±1,33 %.Keywords: benih ikan patin, minyak sereh, tingkat kelangsungan hidup, transportasi tertutup

Abstract

Persaingan bisnis saat ini semakin ketat dari berbagai bidang yang ada, sedangkan tidak semua bisnis sangat memperhatikan rantai pasok dan menerapkan sesuai tatanannya dengan baik. Dalam menjalankan bisnisnya, Toko Sinar Surya Tehnik memiliki risiko-risiko yang dapat menghambat kelancaran jalannya usaha. Toko Sinar Surya Tehnik menjual berbagai macam produk yang didapatkan dari agen, distributor, dan produsen. Meminimalisasi kemungkinan terjadinya risiko dalam bisnis dapat dimulai dengan mengendalikan, sekaligus mengontrol aktivitas rantai pasok dengan melibatkan manajemen atau tata kelola rantai pasok. Penelitian dilakukan di Toko Sinar Surya Tehnik, dengan tujuan untuk mengidentifikasi risiko yang memiliki peluang untuk terjadi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel berupa purposive sampling, dan data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara. Ada juga tahapan analisis data yang dilakukan dengan menjabarkan proses bisnis dengan melibatkan SCOR, yaitu Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, dan Return. Peneliti mengidentifikasi risiko tersebut dengan menggunakan risk maps. Dari identifikasi risiko yang sudah dilakukan ditemukan sebanyak 42 risiko yang dibagi berdasarkan pemetaan yang diperoleh melalui perkalian antara angka probabilitas dengan angka konsekuensi. Hasil dari pemetaan tersebut terdiri dari 3 tingkatan, yaitu 8 risiko tingkat sedang, 29 risiko tingkat tinggi, 5 risiko tingkat sangat tinggi. Setelah mengidentifikasi risiko berdasarkan tingkatannya, peneliti juga menyusun upaya pencegahan risiko.

Abstract

Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) is pure coconut oil produced from fresh coconuts and does not contain additional chemicals. VCO has a high lauric acid content which acts as an antibiotic, namely antiviral, antibacterial and antiprotozoal so that VCO can increase the human body's resistance to disease or viruses. Free fatty acid (FFA) levels will significantly affect the quality of VCO. The requirement for maximum fatty acid content in VCO to be suitable for consumption is 0.2%. One of the efforts to reduce the free fatty acid levels of VCO is to use adsorbents such as activated charcoal and bentonite. This study aims to determine the effect of bentonite and activated charcoal of pelawan wood (Tristaniopsis merguensis) enhancers of VCO purity. The results showed that the best reduction in free fatty acids was using bentonite and activated charcoal of wood-furnaced pelawan, which was 0.265, while the best turbidity test result was 0.193.

Abstract

Freshwater crayfish (Cherax quadricarinatus) is a valuable aquaculture commodity with relatively easy cultivation. However, low larval survival during early developmental stages remains a major challenge in its farming. This study aims to evaluate the effects of dissolved glucose and amino acid combinations on growth characteristics, molting frequency, and survival rate. The research was conducted in the Greenhouse of the Faculty of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, and Fisheries, Universitas Muhammadiyah Parepare, using hatchery-produced crayfish larvae. Four dosage combinations were tested: A) 100 ppm glucose + 250 ppm amino acids, B) 150 ppm glucose + 200 ppm amino acids, C) 200 ppm glucose + 150 ppm amino acids, and D) 250 ppm glucose + 100 ppm amino acids, each replicated three times. The results showed that glucose and amino acid combinations significantly affected crayfish length growth. The highest absolute length growth was observed in the 250 ppm glucose + 100 ppm amino acid group. Meanwhile, the 150 ppm glucose + 200 ppm amino acid combination showed the best performance in molting frequency, number of molting crayfish, survival rate, and percentage of surviving crayfish. The optimal treatment for supporting freshwater crayfish growth and development was the 150 ppm glucose + 200 ppm amino acid combination.Keywords:Cherax quadricarinatusGlucoseamino acidsgrowth characteristicssurvival ratemolting

Abstract

Background: Sleep disturbances, anxiety and fatigue are potential problems that can occur in chemotherapy patients. The aim of this research is to describe sleep quality, anxiety and fatigue in chemotherapy patients. Methods: Descriptive research with a sample of 47 chemotherapy patients selected by purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire. Results: The results showed that all respondents had poor sleep quality (100%), the majority respondents (61.7%) had moderate anxiety levels and the majority respondents (76.6%) experienced moderate fatigue levels. Conclusion: The results of this study illustrate that chemotherapy treatment in cancer patients contributes to poor sleep quality, anxiety and fatigue. So that the role of nurses is needed to improve sleep quality, reduce anxiety and fatigue in chemotherapy patients.Keywords: chemotherapy; cancer; sleep quality; anxiety; fatigue
