Abstract

The development of information and communication technology (ICT) brings change in all lines of life. 21st century Learners live in a digital environment full of information flows. Many negaries reform the objectives and practice of education due to the influence of ICT development and various forms of educational innovation. The greatest hope of educational innovation is the support and integration of ICT in the learning process, thus enhancing the quality of student learning experience. The characteristics of 21st century students are very different from previous era students. In the 21st century one must have four skills (communication, colaboration, critical Thinking and problem Sorving and Creativity and Innovation). This skill has always been reflected in the learning that will be implemented by a professional teacher, by having the competence of pedagogic, professional, personality, and social competence.

Abstract

The focus of this research is to comprehensively analyze the effect of organization restructuring on the performance of the organization, directly or indirectly, involving 276 employees in the education office and the Ministry of Education and Culture offices and collected by survey method. Data analysis was done using causal correlation technique to see the effect of organization restructuring on organization performance. The results of the research indicate that there is a direct influence of organization restructuring on organization performance. Another result is that there is an indirect effect of restructuring through employee performance and leadership effectiveness on organization performance. The influence of organization performance improvement is due to, organization restructuring implemented in Maluku Province education office has lead to behavior change, where the employees of education office were able to improve individual performance and can work together with the leadership as an efficient and effective structure. This has an impact on improving organization performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of employee performance and leadership effectiveness on organizational performance in the Maluku Province Education Office. The sample in the study involved 276 employees from the education office, as well as the Regional Office of the Ministry of Education and Culture collected through survey methods and analyzed using causal correlational techniques. The results indicate that there is a significant influence between employee performance and leadership effectiveness on organizational performance. This is because the success shown through employee performance and supported by the effectiveness of optimal leadership, so that organizational performance can be achieved successfully. Every employee at the Maluku Province Education Office can work collectively as a unified entity in carrying out the interests of the organization, so that the resources of employees through the performance shown can be organized effectively in achieving organizational goals.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatahui bagaimana penggunaan zoom meeting sebagai sarana pembelajaran di masa pandemi Covid-19 dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca intensif siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Latihan SPG Ambon. Pandemi sangat berdampak pada semua bidang termasuk bidang pendidikan. Bidang pendidikan sangat berperan penting. Teknologi mengalami perkembangan karena semua pendidik dan peserta didik dituntut untuk mengusai teknologi dalam menunjang berlangsungnya proses pembelajaran. Pembelajarannya dilakukan melalui jaringan atau kerap disebut daring. Banyaknya aplikasi belajar daring salah satunya adalah zoom meeting yang digunakan untuk melakukan proses pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan dua siklus setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yang meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan/observasi dan refleksi. Zoom meeting merupakan media pembelajaran yang efektif dalam menunjang proses pembelajaran, hal ini dapat dilihat dari meningkatnya keterampilan membaca intensif pada siklus II di mana semua peserta didik mencapai nilai ketuntasan. Pembelajaran menggunakan zoom meeting juga dapat melatih peserta didik dalam mengenal teknologi sejak usia dini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah sebuah permasalahan yang di temukan dalam kemampuan menulis pantun pada siswa kelas V SD INPRES 2 PIRU. Proses belajar mengajar pada siswa kelas V dengan materi pelajaran menulis pantun kurang dikuasai oleh siswa. Dapat dikatakan hasil pembelajarannya kurang maksimal karena siswa belum dapat menemukan hubungan sampiran dengan isi yang terlihat pada pola sajak pantun dengan baik serta kurang memiliki keberanian untuk menuangkannya dalam bentuk kata-kata. Siswa cenderung melakukan kesalahan pada pola sajak dan mengalami kesulitan dalam menemukan kosa kata yang tepat. Oleh karena itu dirancang sebuah perencanaan pembelajaran mengunakan Teknik Pemodelan dalam menjawab permasalahan tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan sampel 9 orang siswa yang memiliki kemampuan rendah, sedang dan tinggi. Hasil yang di peroleh siswa pada prasiklus, siklus I dan siklus II mengalami peningkatan. Pada prasiklus nilai rata-rata siswa adalah 51, 2 %, siklus I nilai rata-rata 60, 5%, dan siklus II 81,1%.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low speaking skills of third grade students of SD Inpres 1 Buano Utara. The purpose of this study was to improve students' speaking skills through the application of the storytelling method. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) carried out in two cycles with a subject of 30 students. Data collection was done through observation, documentation, and oral test of speaking skills. The results showed an increase in students' speaking skills after the implementation of the storytelling method. This is shown by the increase in the average score of students' oral tests, from 50.4 in the initial test to 70.5 in cycle I, and increased again to 80.3 in cycle II.

Abstract

Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia merupakan pelajaran yang penting dan perlu diberikan atau diajarkan kepada siswa di sekolah mulai dari sekolah dasar tingkat rendah hingga tingkat tinggi. Bahasa Indonesia juga mempunyai kedudukan dan fungsi di dalam kehidupan masyarakat, bangsa dan negara Indonesia. Dengan adanya pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia yang dimulai dari tingkat sekolah dasar dapat mengajarkan anak untuk bersosialisasi dengan baik dilingkungan sekitarnya. Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal pada tanggal 6 sampai 8 Maret 2022 dikatakan kemampuan berbicara siswa SD Inpres Kokwari kelas V belum maksimal dikarenakan guru dalam proses belajar lebih menggunakan metode ceramah dan Tanya jawab, sehingga peneliti melihat banyaknya permasalahan-Permasalahan yang terdapat pada siswa, siswa sering merasa malu dan merasa gugup ketika diminta untuk berbicara di depan kelas, kurangnya perhatian guru kepada siswa dalam keterampilan berbicara, bahasa yang digunakan tidak teratur menyebabkan informasi yang disampaikan menjadi kurang efektif dan pendengar sulit memahami isi pembicaraan secara tepat.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the storytelling skills of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Poka through the implementation of the Project-Based Learning model. The background of this study is the low writing ability of students, as indicated by an average initial test score of 54.93%, which is below the Minimum Passing Grade. This study used the Classroom Action Research method, which was carried out in two cycles, each consisting of the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through writing tests, observations, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively and quantitatively to assess score improvements, as well as descriptively and qualitatively to identify changes in student behavior, motivation, and involvement. The results showed a significant improvement in writing skills, where in cycle I the average student score reached 63.73% with 10 students achieving the KKM, and in cycle II all 15 students (100%) scored above the KKM with an average of 79.66%. This improvement included aspects of determining story titles, vocabulary selection, and overall writing ability. The research findings show that the application of the PjBL model is effective not only in improving writing skills but also in encouraging active participation, developing critical thinking skills, and significantly increasing student motivation to learn.

Abstract

Reading comprehension among Indonesian elementary school students remains critically low, as evidenced by the 2022 PISA results showing a literacy score of 359 points, significantly below the OECD average of 476 points. A similar condition was identified among fourth-grade students at Kristen Patti elementary school, where only 11% of students met the minimum completeness criteria during initial assessment, with a class average of 65. Conventional teacher-centered and passive learning methods have been identified as contributing factors to low reading literacy. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of implementing the Problem Based Learning model in improving reading comprehension skills of fourth-grade students at Kristen Patti elementary school. This classroom action research employed the Kemmis and Taggart model, conducted over two cycles with 27 students as research subjects. Data were collected through written tests and observations, while quantitative descriptive statistics were utilized for data analysis. The findings revealed significant improvements in learning completeness percentages, increasing from 11% during the pre-action stage to 48% in Cycle I and reaching 93% in Cycle II. The class average score also rose from 65 to 81. In conclusion, the Problem Based Learning model proved effective in enhancing reading comprehension skills of fourth-grade students at Kristen Patti elementary school.
