Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing differences in the mathematical literacy abilities of class VIII students of MTs Salafiyah Syafiiyah Bandung before and after applying the CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending) learning model. The research method used is a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design and uses a quantitative research approach. The subjects of this study were class VIII D MTs Salafiyah Syafiiyah Jombang. The research instruments used were tests and non-tests. The test instruments were pretest and post-test description questions to measure students' mathematical literacy before and after implementing the CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Organizing, Learning) learning model. Reflecting, Extending). While the non-test instruments used were interviews with mathematics teachers in class VIII D to find out the implementation of learning carried out in class. The data analysis technique used was hypothesis testing. However, before testing the hypothesis, the data obtained first First, the normality test and homogeneity test were carried out. Based on the calculation of the paired sample t test, it shows that the t value is 13,818 with a significance of 0,000. The significance value shows 0.000 < error level of 0.05, so it can be concluded that Ha is accepted. Acceptance of this Ha means that there are differences in the level of mathematical literacy of class VIII students of MTs Salafiyah Syafiiyah Jombang before and after implementing the CORE learning model.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan penerapan Problem Based Learning dalam mengembangkan karakter siswa pada materi statistika. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MA Bahrul Ulum Jombang. Sedangkan sampel yang diambil adalah siswa kelas X-IIS A dan X-IIS B MA Bahrul Ulum Jombang yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu kelas X-IIS A sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas X-IIS B sebagai kelompok kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes dan angket. Tes digunakan untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa sedangkan angket untuk mengetahui karakter siswa dalam Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah. Uji prasyarat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan independent sample t-test pada IBM SPSS.21 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model Problem Based Learning berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap perkembangan nilai karakter siswa.

Abstract

In order to develop students' mathematical abilities, a learning should not only emphasize mastery of the material, but mathematical activities should also support the development of students' ability to think mathematically. This due to mathematical thinking is important for a student's academic success and is also an ability needed in the role of each individual in society. One of the mathematical activities that support students' mathematical thinking skills is PISA like mathematics problems. One of the mathematical content in PISA is about space and shape. However, several previous studies have shown that many Indonesian students have difficulty in solving PISA like mathematics problems of space and shape content Therefore, in this study, PISA like mathematics problems of space and shape content was developed for students at the SMP/MTs level. The product is used as a mathematical activity in learning at school as an effort to support students' mathematical thinking. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model. The product trial results show that the product developed is valid and appropriate to support students' mathematical thinking. The final product received a response with "Good" criteria from students.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to measure the mathematical attitude of class VIII MTsN 3 Jombang students when the CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending) learning model is applied. The method used in this study is an experimental method in the form of a pre-experimental design with the type of one-shot case study. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII D at MTsN 3 Jombang. The instruments used for data collection were observations and questionnaires to measure the value of students' attitudes when applying the CORE learning model. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. Based on calculations from the results of observations and questionnaires, the attitude value of the questionnaire was 1335 from a perfect score of 1716 while from observation was 956 from a perfect score of 1248. The percentage of the data was 77.8% of the questionnaire data and 76.6% of the observation data and the average the average of these percentages is 77.3%. Because the student's attitude value is > 70%, it is declared successful. That is, the predicate of the attitude value of class VIII D students at MTsN 3 Jombang when applying the CORE learning model is in the good category.

Abstract

This research is a development research or R&D (Research and Development) which aims to produce and describe HOTS-based mathematics E-LKPD learning media. This research uses the ADDIE type of development model. Based on the results of the data analysis, the validity of the material experts obtained an average score of 3.43 with valid criteria, and media experts obtained an average score of 3.48 with valid criteria. The results of the students' responses to the HOTS-based mathematics E-LKPD obtained a percentage of 85,69% with the good criteria. The learning outcomes in the Pre-test knowledge obtained an average value of 36.75, which means that overall students scored below the KKM, namely 70. While the learning outcomes in the Post-test knowledge assessment obtained an average value of 80.62, which means Overall, students scored above the KKM, namely 70. Based on these data, it can be concluded that the HOTS-based mathematics E-LKPD on prism and pyramid building materials is declared valid, practical, and effective so that it is suitable for use in learning.

Abstract

Residents who live in this area on average plant certain types of flowers in flower pots, they buy flower pots at a fairly high price. Flowers with aglonema type need a pot as a place to grow. This community service activity is carried out to foster knowledge and understanding of PKK mothers and IPNU and IPPNU youth in utilizing unused objects that can be processed into products that have added value and are very useful which is termed Upcycle. The pot training activity from used cloth is carried out to train the community to use used cloth which can be a product that has high artistic value. This community service activity uses a training method for making pots from cement and used towels. The results of this activity are (1) It can foster the creativity of PKK mothers and IPNU IPPNU teenagers in utilizing used goods such as used towels. (2) PKK mothers and IPNU IPPNU youth have new knowledge about the utilization of unused used goods in the surrounding environment to be processed into useful products and have a high buying and selling value. (3) PKK mothers and IPNU IPPNU youths can save money on buying similar products that can be made by themselves.
