Abstract

Permasalahan yang banyak ditemui dalam mayarakat perkotaan adalah masalah sampah, dengan banyaknya jumlah penduduk pada masyarakat perkotaan setiap hari pasti menghasilkan sampah baik organik maupun non organik. Salah satu usaha yang ada di desa Tambak Reja adalah Bank Sampah Mandiri (BSM) SUBUR. Dimana unit usaha utama dari BSM SUBUR adalah pengolahan limbah/sampah menjadi pupuk organik. Kendala yang dihadapi pada unit usaha yang sedang dijalankannya saat ini. Beberapa diantaranya yaitu proses pengemasan produk pupuk organik masih belum menarik. Desain kemasan produk yang menarik dan mampu memberikan informasi produk yang dipasarkan. Desain kemasan produk sebelum dilakukan branding dan setelah diredesain. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa produk-produk BSM Subur sudah mulai dikenal oleh masyarakat di luar kabupaten Cilacap

Abstract

Maos Lor Village is one of 10 villages in Maos Sub-District, Cilacap Regency. The number of small industries is 18 businesses with 61 workers and home industries with 78 businesses with 66 workers. Small industries and home industries in Maos Lor Village are dominated in the food industry. The income of small industries and home industries in Maos Lor Village is not satisfactory because there are obstacles in some production sectors, one of which is production techniques. Simple technology makes the product less attractive and hygienic. This problem is experienced by the food industry in Maos Lor Village, one of which is vegetable donut business. The vegetable donut business managed by Dusun Lancar residents is less productive because it is constrained by the production process. In this community service some problems in the vegetable donut business in Maos Lor Village were overcome by making improvements to the production machinery, so that it was hoped that vegetable donut production could run smoothly and production could increase.

Abstract

This paper discusses about design and development of gimbal smartphone, which are made to be simple and less money consuming by utilizing microcontroller and MPU 6050 sensor. Recently, the development of videography and image processing is inseparable from the rapid advance in smartphone technology. One of the most popular features is camera. Hand movements and shocks cause fewer maximum results. To improve the quality of camera captures and video, it is necessary to have a stabilizer for camera position.  Thus, it is expected that the outcomes of this paper are able to give contribution for cheap gimbal smartphone. Design and implementation of gimbal uses acrylic as the material, with 5 mm of thickness. This MPU 6050 sensor is optimized to detect sway in axis X, Y, and Z or roll, pitch, and yaw. Gyroscope and accelerometer provide input to the microcontroller, which will process for output on 3 servomotors that function to maintain the camera’s position at a specified set point. The results show that MPU 6050 sensor can response angle reading error of 1.34° of roll, 0.25° of pitch, and 0.78° of yaw. Error in maximum servomotor movement is 1.5°. Thus, it can be concluded that gimbal can work optimally with less money consuming as well as low error. It is expected that the next research will add other suitable and accurate control, that is, PID or fuzzy.

Abstract

Masyarakat di Kabupaten Cilacap khususnya warga masyarakat Kecamatan Maos umumnya bekerja di bidang pertanian. Berdasarkan data yang didapatkan dari Badan Pusat Statistika tahun 2019, sebanyak 6.494 jiwa penduduk kecamatan maos bekerja sebagai buruh tani. Permasalahan yang dihadapi di musim kemarau sangat mengganggu kegiatan masyarakat Desa Maos. Permasalahan yang timbul seperti kekurangan air untuk pertanian; masyarakat susah dalam mencari sumber air; dan perekonomian masyarakat terganggu. Solusi pada permasalahan ini adalah adanya pembuatan dan penerapan pompa air terintegrasi photovoltaic untuk pertanian yang diharapakan mampu meredakan bahkan menghilangkan akar permasalahan yang sedang dialami masyarakat Kecamatan Maos. Target dari kegiatan ini adalah terciptanya suatu pompa yang mampu mengalirkan air dari sumber air dengan pemanfaatan energi dari Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) yang ramah lingkungan dan terciptanya kemandirian energi desa berbasis Energi Baru Terbarukan (EBT). Hasil yang dicapai pada kegiatan ini adalah terciptanya desa mandiri energi; semakin berkembangnya hasil panen dari pertanian masyarakat Kecamatan Maos walaupun dimusim kemarau; dan dapat meningkatkan perekenomian masyarakat Kecamatan Maos.

Abstract

Monitoring and controlling the use of electricalenergy can help in controlling the excess use of energy. Infacilitating monitoring and controlling, a smart electricalterminal application system has been designed with a WEBdisplay that is used to control electrical equipment thatintegrated into the local network. The controlled condition isthe ON/OFF from the relay that connected to the electricalterminal. This system can also monitor the state of theelectrical terminal through reading the current when there is aload attached to the electrical terminal. The Arduino webserver is used as an ON/OFF electrical terminal, and theArduino web client for current readings. Both Arduino isconnected to access point, so control and monitoring can bedone wirelessly. Monitoring of electric current uses an ACS7125A sensor, which can detect changes in current up to 5 A.Every single electrical terminal is connected to one sensor, so inthe system, it uses four ACS712 sensors. Based on the results ofthe tests, the four ACS712 sensors have been produced indifferent reading values. The difference occurs because of thedifference in response time from the four sensors, with anaverage reading between 0,04 A to 0,07 A on a no-load test.Data obtained from the results of reading electric current sentto the database, the average reading displayed in the WEB

Abstract

This paper proposes an improved electricity efficiency method using an infrared sensor and internet of things (IoT). Almost all field of human work require electrical energy, especially for household needs. The averages household has many lamps in each room, so if it is not controlled, it will be wasteful of energy. However, this work is carried out to gain a better understanding of a new method for saving energy. The main advantage of this work is the simplification of the sensor used, in which only the infrared sensor required. Although the proposed approach faces numerous challenges, it successfully provides result as parameters that it can be processed rapidly using low-cost microcontrollers. The idea is based on the microcontroller and internet implementation with infrared sensor to monitor the number of people in home to control the lamp light intensity. The idea is proven in two ways: design and experiment. In this paper, the implementation of Raspberry Pi and Arduino is created to monitor the number of people in room and control the lamp intensity through internet or web. Arduino uses for the sensor processing and Raspberry Pi as server. The web is used to display the monitoring result by retrieving data from database that created using MySQL. The result indicates that the electricity bill decreased between 7.7-8.2% over 2 months implementation. The conclusion of this study suggests that the research in this area could be directed toward to be used in saving electricity usage in human life, especially for household.

Abstract

Pencarian korban pasca terjadinya bencana alam menjadi faktor yang sangat penting untuk dilakukan. Objek yang mayoritas diperhatikan adalah manusia. Cepat tanggapnya penanganan hal tersebut juga dipengaruhi banyak faktor, salah satunya adalah medan yang rumit dan terisolasi sehingga aksesnya terbatas sehingga banyak korban yang tidak dapat ditangani dalam waktu yang cepat. Jalur udara merupakan alternatif yang dapat dimanfaatkan, yaitu menggunakan Quadcopter yang memungkinkan untuk memantau kondisi lokasi bencana alam melalui kamera sebagai pendeteksi objek menggunakan pengolahan citra dengan kontroler Raspberry Pi 3. Kendali Ardupilot Mega 2.8 terintegrasi dengan Mission Planner sebagai Ground Control Station (GCS) melalui telemetri. Pengujian menghasilkan data image yang didapatkan dengan jarak 1-meter hingga 6-meter dari objek dengan kemampuan mengirimkan data ke GCS sejauh 45 meter.

Abstract

Modul DFPlayer biasa digunakan untuk aplikasi suara, seperti alarm, bel sekolah atau aplikasi yang tidak membutuhkan pengelolahan file mp3 yang banyak. Namun dengan metode yang tepat, DFPlayer juga dapat mengelola file mp3 Al-Quran yang berjumlah 6236 buah dengan baik. Artikel ini akan menunjukkan salah satu metode untuk membaca file mp3 Al-Qur’an sehingga seluruh ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an dapat dilantunkan. Metode tersebut adalah menyusun dan mengurutkan nama file mp3 pada folder MP3, membuat algoritma konversi nama urutan file mp3 dan algoritma pemutaran mp3 berdasarkan rentang ayat secara berurutan. Perangkat ini dirancang dengan memanfaatkan mikrokontroler ESP32 sebagai unit pengontrol utama, modul DFPlayer sebagai dekoder audio dan aplikasi Android sebagai pemilih surah dan ayat yang akan diputar. Hasil pengujian yang didapatkan bahwa pemutaran surah pada juz 30 dan pemutaran rentang ayat pada seluruh surah berhasil 100%.

Abstract

Employee performance can be measured by their presence or attendance, which applies to both civil servants and non-civil servants. Because the attendance system still uses the manual technique, it is considered inefficient due to the potential for data fraud and attendance problems. In addition, the government is adopting precautions against viruses in office buildings to maintain business continuity while the pandemic is being addressed. This study aimed to employ a facial recognition system and temperature measurement to lower the danger of COVID 19 transmission while minimizing paper use by using a facial recognition system as a substitute for presence. It has so far permitted the digitization of formerly manual sights. The OpenCV library allows computers to detect faces using the haar cascade classifier approach and Python as a programming language. A Logitech C930e webcam with a resolution of 1080p at 30fps was used to capture facial data, which was then processed on a Raspberry Pi 4 microprocessor. It uses an MLX90614 sensor to monitor body temperature, which is controlled by an Arduino Uno microcontroller. It is well integrated into the database based on body temperature testing and facial recognition. The development of a more accurate temperature sensor reading method for distance and employee body temperature is a priority for future research.

Abstract

The educational environment is the process of educational activities, so the environment is expected to be comfortable and avoid noise. Noise can be disturbing, such as the ringing of mobile phones or sounds produced by humans. Sound noise in a room can cause loss of concentration, so that indoor activities can be disrupted. Based on these problems, it is necessary to have a tool used to detect the noise level of sound in the classroom. Therefore, a noise detection system in the learning room uses a sound sensor based on NodeMCU ESP8266, which can send email notifications and be monitored through the thinger.io application. The location of this research is in a classroom. This tool consists of hardware (hardware) including NodeMCU ESP8266, PIR Sensor, LCD 16x2 I2C, Sound Sensor, DF Player Mini Mp3, Speaker, and Android application software. The working principle is that if the decibel value exceeds the predetermined value, the room user will hear a warning sound and send an informational text in the form of an email notification. Based on tests on several parameters, testing using the sound of a drilling machine obtained an error value of 8.7%. In music sounds, an error value of 7.7%, and inhuman screaming sounds, an error value of 8.1%. The tool has been successful in the test results and can be implemented in the classroom.
