Abstract

This article explores the implementation of writing captions on Instagram towards students of SMAN 6 Bogor. According to basic competencies of English subject in Curriculum 2013, one of competencies that the students of grade XII of SMA is able to compose captions. Instagram is an online mobile photo-sharing, story-sharing, and video-sharing. It is one of the social media tools widely used by teenagers. This study is intended to reports how the implementation of EFL students? writing competency in using Instagram and whether the learning activity can boost students? interest and encouraging students to write from what they know. Further, the discussion also takes into the issues of the problem that may exist during the application of Instagram as  a learning tool and the solution proposed by the teacher to solve out the problems will also intensively investigate. Employing qualitative approach, observation and interview use as the instrument of this present study. The students at SMA 6 Bogor choose as the informant of this study. The students are under the reseracher?s supervision. Activities are designed in accordance with the course objectives to share information about the students and the phenom.

Abstract

The aim of the research are assessment tasks to have an impact on student learning, it is critical that students have a clear perspective of the primary purpose of each task and how their responses will be interpreted and rewarded. This research method using the current terms diagnostic, formative and summative to describe many of the traditional aspects associated with current assessment prac-tice and introduces the term integrative assessment to specifically describe tasks whose primary purpose is to influence students approaches to future learning by providing activities that define and track strategies that students use to assess their own learning abilities and problem-solving capabilities, the quality and standards of student responses and how students might adapt their learning to future scenarios. The Results of the research study show integrated and integrative assessment have been used previously in the literature to describe a range of activities, including an appropriate balance between assessment for learning and assessment of learning; for various aspects of coherence and alignment between learning objectives and their associated assessment tasks; and for monitoring the efficacy of assessments in enhancing different types of learning.

Abstract

Reading literacy has a very important role for women. Both in a personal context, as well as in the family and community environment. Reading skills allow women to access the information and knowledge needed to improve their self-competence. Women who have good reading skills can play a role in improving the quality of their children's education. This study aims to describe the role of Nasyiatul Aisyiyah in improving women's reading literacy skills and its impact on women's reading literacy skills in Bogor Regency. This research was conducted with members of Nasyiatul Aisyiyah in Bogor Regency. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The collected data is analyzed qualitatively through a comprehensive data identification and analysis process. To ensure the reliability of the data, the researcher used the triangulation method. The results of the study show that the structured reading literacy program initiated by Nasyiatul has successfully contributed to improving women's reading skills, especially Nasyiatul Aisyiyah members in Bogor Regency. This program not only provides benefits in literacy, but also supports the development of broader life skills, so that women become more prepared and empowered in facing challenges in society.
