Abstract

Using Twitter as a platform for sharing information includes tracking public perceptions of the performance of the Indonesian National Police (POLRI). Public sentiment assists as a gauge for evaluating POLRI's operational capabilities and supports decision-making processes to enhance the organization's reputation. However, raw public opinion data often requires careful analysis for decision-making. Hence, conducting sentiment analysis of Twitter data is crucial. This analytical process involves extracting and classifying opinions into neutral, positive, and negative sentiments. This study employs two distinct sentiment analysis methods: the Naive Bayes algorithm and the K-Nearest Neighbors. Analysis of 1285 tweets reveals prevailing satisfaction with POLRI's performance, indicated by many positive sentiments. However, there is also a notable number of negative feelings. The assessment from confusion matrix results demonstrate that the Naive Bayes algorithm achieves 99.03% accuracy, while the K-Nearest Neighbors algorithm achieves 95.33% accuracy. By leveraging insights from public opinion data, POLRI can make more accurate and timely decisions, enabling it to better fulfill the community's needs and expectations. This strategic use of data enhances service quality and bolsters POLRI's favorable image among the public fosters more harmonious relationships and enhances public trust in law enforcement agencies.

Abstract

Keamanan data menerapkan salah satu hal terpenting dalam menggunakan internet. Kebocoran data pribadi pengguna di internet dapat dimanfaatkan oleh orang yang tidak berkepentingan untuk berbagai macam tindakan kriminal. Upaya melindungi data pribadi masyarakat Indonesia, pemerintah melalui Kemkominfo membuat serta menerapkan sebuah kebijakan Penyelenggaraan Sistem Elektronik (PSE). Dalam penerapan PSE mendapatkan berbagai macam opini dari masyarakat Indonesia salah satunya yaitu pada platform twitter. Opini yang dikeluarkan oleh masyarakat ada yang bersifat negatif, netral maupun bersifat positif. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui jumlah sentimen negatif, netral serta positif terhadap opini masyarakat terhadap PSE dimana dataset tersebut diperoleh dari platform twitter serta mengetahui nilai akurasi dari hasil uji evaluasi dari penerapan algoritma Logistic Regression. Hasil luaran dari 1073 dataset tentang opini dari masyarakat terhadap PSE didapatkan sebanyak 126 sentimen bersifat negatif, sebanyak 657 sentimen bersifat netral serta sebanyak 291 sentimen yang bersifat positif dengan nilai akurasi penerapan algoritma Logistic Regression sebesar 79.07%. Hal tersebut memperlihatkan bagaimana opini masyarakat Indonesia yaitu sebagian besar setuju terhadap diberlakukannya PSE namun masih ada beberapa masyarakat yang belum bisa menerima kebijakan tersebut.

Abstract

Media sosial seperti TikTok telah menjadi platform yang populer di kalangan pengguna internet, terutama di kalangan generasi muda. Di sisi lain, media sosial juga memiliki potensi sebagai media pembelajaran yang efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sentimen pengguna terkait penggunaan TikTok sebagai media pembelajaran yang menggunakan algoritma Naïve  Bayes untuk menganalisis data sentimen tersebut. Sebanyak 176 data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan menggunakan Google Form. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan algoritma Naïve  Bayes Classifiers untuk mengkategorikan sentimen positif, negatif, dan netral. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa akurasi model adalah 52.27%, dengan nilai precision sebesar 19.60%, dan recall sebesar 50.83%. Meskipun akurasi dan precision yang diperoleh relatif rendah, hasil ini memberikan gambaran awal mengenai persepsi pengguna terhadap TikTok sebagai alat pembelajaran. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan lebih lanjut bagi pengembang aplikasi pembelajaran berbasis media sosial dan membantu dalam meningkatkan kualitas konten edukatif di TikTok.

Abstract

Twitter merupakan media sosial yang menjadi sumber informasi dan opini utama masyarakat tentang berbagai topik, termasuk  tragedi dan kejadian terkini. Dengan jumlah penggunanya yang besar, Twitter memberikan para peneliti wawasan berharga dalam menganalisis sentimen publik. Namun pelaksanaan pemilu pada tahun 2024 kali ini di warnai berbagai isu serta banyak masyarakat yang berpendapat bahwa telah terjadi adanya pelanggaran dalam proses penyelenggaraan pemilu tahun 2024. Dengan adanya berbagai pendapat masyarakat akan hal ini, maka kami mencoba membuat sebuah artikel yang di dalamnya memuat analisa sentimen masyarakat. Analisis sentimen menggunakan data Twitter telah menjadi pendekatan yang populer, terutama menggunakan algoritma klasifikasi Naïve Bayes, mengekstraksi sentimen dari teks yang terbukti efektif dalam melakukan analisis sentimen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sentimental masyarakat atas adanya dugaan pelanggaran terhadap penyelenggaraan pemilu 2024 dengan menggunakan data Twitter. Tujuannya adalah untuk mendapatkan wawasan lebih dalam mengenai opini masyarakat atas dugaan pelanggaran yang terjadi dalam proses penyelenggaraan pemilu di Indonesia.

Abstract

Moved4 is an event organiser (EO) service that aims to help people across Jakarta organise events such as weddings, graduations, concerts, and seminars. They use marketing methods that are done manually, such as distributing brochures and broadcast messages. Moved4's target market is business owners aged 18-55 who need EO assistance to organise their events. The main focus in user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design is user comfort. This is achieved through a design thinking approach consisting of four phases: empathise, define, ideate, prototype and test. MOVED4's UI/UX design received a SUS (System Convenience Scale) score of 79.25%, which indicates a high level of excellence. This indicates that users find it comfortable and easy to use the dashboard, which is crucial for successful technology adoption among target users.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, the imported goods shipping industry is growing rapidly. PT Jesinra Makmur Group, as a provider of imported goods delivery services, needs to ensure that the user experience (UI/UX) on its website platform is optimal. This research aims to redesign the UI/UX of the PT Jesinra Makmur Group website using a Design Thinking approach. The Design Thinking method consists of several stages, namely empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and testing. In this research, researchers will understand user needs, identify problems, generate creative ideas, create prototypes, and test proposed solutions. This research uses the System Usability Scale (SUS) to measure the success of UI/UX design, and a score of 87.75% was obtained, which indicates a high level of excellence. This shows that users feel comfortable and that it is easy to use the website. The results of this research are expected to provide a better solution for PT Jesinra Makmur Group to provide an optimal user experience through their website. By implementing the Design Thinking method, it is hoped that PT Jesinra Makmur Group can improve the UI/UX of their website and provide better service to customers.

Abstract

Online professional development (PD) programs have become integral to educators' lifelong learning, offering opportunities for continuous improvement beyond traditional face-to-face training. However, research is scarce addressing the behavioral, emotional, and cognitive dimensions of engagement in online programs tailored for higher education professionals. This study aims to investigate the extent to which online professional development programs contribute to Indonesian university lecturers' behavioral, emotional, and cognitive engagements. This research used a mixed method with a sequential explanatory design. The participants of this study are 555 university lecturers from diverse universities in Indonesia, both private and state universities, who attended an online training for improving basic skills in instructional techniques held by Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. Hamka, Jakarta, Indonesia. The instruments used were the questionnaire distributed to all the participants and a semi-structured interview for selected participants. Data analysis included a descriptive analysis for quantitative data and a thematic analysis for qualitative data. The study results show that online PD programs can foster decisive behavioral, emotional, and cognitive engagements among Indonesian university lecturers. Qualitatively, it also unveils positive motivations in pedagogical aspects. Thus, it is recommended that online training for lecturers should be the program offered to lecturers in Indonesia to improve their professionalism, mainly in the teaching aspects continually.

Abstract

Financial management and an efficient cashier system are critical elements in an institution's operations, including student dormitories. This research aims to design and develop the "PESMART" mobile application aimed at cooperative cashier management in the UHAMKA Dormitory. This application is designed to make it easier to manage financial transactions, monitor inventory, and provide real-time financial reports. The methodology used in developing this application is an Agile approach, which allows fast iteration and response to user feedback. Data was collected through interviews and surveys with hostel staff to identify critical needs. A wireframe design and interactive prototype were created using Figma. Initial test results show that the "PESMART" application has succeeded in increasing cashier management efficiency and reducing transaction recording errors. User satisfaction surveys indicate high satisfaction with the ease of use and features provided by the application. In conclusion, "PESMART" provides an effective digital solution for financial and cashier management in a dormitory environment, with recommendations for developing additional features in the future to further improve functionality and user experience.

Abstract

Public awareness that is increasingly paying attention to environmental problems requires public awareness to manage waste in a more efficient way. Due to the lack of understanding and appropriate methods for sorting waste, solutions different from conventional methods must be sought. Technology has become an important part of innovation in management. User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) are increasingly considered important in meeting user needs due to new interaction patterns with technology. The aim of this research is to understand and meet user needs in waste sorting. Therefore, the author has found a solution by creating a UI/UX design for an interactive waste sorting application. This study was conducted using the design sprint method which consists of five steps: understand, differentiate, decide, create a prototype, and verify. The results of tests carried out using the system usability scale method produced a score of 75, which shows that this application makes it easier for users to sort waste more efficiently and environmentally friendly.

Abstract

This study develops a website-based e-commerce information system for the Ruang Style store. Several challenges faced by the store include limited marketing efforts and the lack of an online sales platform, which can lead to a decline in customers. The process of purchasing goods is still done manually, where customers must visit the store in person to buy products. Additionally, the sales and inventory data management is still done manually in the form of written records without an integrated database. The revenue from all sold items is also calculated manually, which increases the potential for errors in the calculation process. The goal of this research is to design a website-based e-commerce information system to help the store owner manage inventory and sales data, as well as facilitate customers in making transactions online so that they no longer need to visit the store physically. The research was conducted at Ruang Style store from April 2024 to December 2024. The prototype methodology was used, as the mockups were designed based on user evaluations. The study utilized PHP, MySQL, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS programming languages. The result of this research is the design of a website-based e-commerce information system. The conclusion of this study is that the design of the website-based store management information system can be successfully implemented on desktop browsers, and it successfully simplifies the marketing process for the store and facilitates customers in making transactions.
