Abstract

This research analyzes user sentiment towards the service quality of the In-Drive application using the Naive Bayes Classifier method. A total of 15,000 reviews from the Google Play Store were collected using web scraping techniques from the results of sentiment analysis of the data, 9,665 negative sentiments and 5,335 positive sentiments were found. The data went through a pre-processing stage including cleaning, case folding, stopword removal, tokenizing, and stemming. Naive Bayes algorithm was used to classify the reviews into positive and negative sentiments. Evaluation using the confusion matrix resulted in 76.56% accuracy, 78.26% precision, 87.69% recall, and 82.71% F1 score. These results indicate that most reviews are negative. This research is expected to help In-Drive app developers understand user experience and improve service quality based on automatically available reviews.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi terus mendorong aplikasi digital untuk mengutamakan kenyamanan dan kemudahan pengguna. Fello, platform e-money komunitas besutan PT Jatelindo Perkasa Abadi, menghadapi kendala dalam memberikan pengalaman pengguna yang optimal akibat desain UI/UX yang kurang memadai. Keluhan seperti kesulitan navigasi dan tampilan yang tidak intuitif menjadi pemicu utama perlunya pembaruan desain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang ulang aplikasi Fello agar lebih responsif terhadap kebutuhan pengguna melalui pendekatan inovatif. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah design thinking, yang mencakup lima tahapan: memahami pengguna (Empathize), mendefinisikan masalah (Define), menghasilkan ide (Ideate), menciptakan prototipe (Prototype), dan mengujinya (Test). Untuk mengukur tingkat kegunaan, dilakukan evaluasi menggunakan System Usability Scale melalui survei, wawancara, dan observasi langsung terhadap pengguna aktif. Hasil evaluasi awal menunjukkan skor SUS hanya mencapai 32, jauh dari ambang batas minimal 68. Setelah implementasi desain ulang, skor meningkat drastis menjadi 75,4, mengindikasikan pengalaman pengguna yang jauh lebih baik. Perubahan signifikan meliputi fitur login biometrik seperti fingerprint dan face ID, desain ikon yang lebih modern, dan tampilan landing page yang lebih ramah pengguna. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Design Thinking sangat efektif dalam menyelesaikan masalah desain UI/UX secara kreatif. Evaluasi System Usability Scale membuktikan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kenyamanan dan kepuasan pengguna. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam pengembangan aplikasi berbasis kebutuhan pengguna dan menjadi referensi strategis untuk meningkatkan daya saing aplikasi di era digital.

Abstract

M-Paspor is a digital application developed by the Directorate General of Immigration to facilitate the online passport application process. Based on initial evaluation results using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method, the application scored 28,5, which is still below the usability standard of 68. Therefore, the objective of this study is to redesign the user interface and user experience (UI/UX) using the Design Thinking approach, which includes the stages of empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. After the redesign, the SUS scored increased to 81,4, falling into the “good” category, indicating that the user experience has improved. The results demonstrate that Design Thinking techniques can comprehensively identify user needs and generate more efficient, user-friendly design solutions that meet user expectations for public service applications.

Abstract

Abstract: Computer networks are not just additional facilities in the campus environment, but computer networks help the overall academic activities and social relations of students. This research aims to overcome the problem of uneven wifi internet networks and less than optimal SSID management in UHAMKA flats, which has an impact on student access to information and communication. The method used is PPDIOO with simulation using Cisco Packet Tracer and the chosen star topology to provide a stable connection and easy network management. The results of the simulation show that all devices are well connected to each other, as indicated by the successful IP ping test between devices. The research concluded that the PPDIOO method was successful in designing an effective and structured internet network in the students' living environment. So that it can improve access to academic activities and good communication.            Keywords: cisco packet tracer; computer networks; PPDIOO  Abstrak: Jaringan komputer bukan hanya sekedar fasilitas tambahan dalam lingkungan kampus, tetapi jaringan komputer membantu keseluruan aktivitas akademik dan hubungan sosial mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengatasi permasalahan jaringan internet wifi yang belum merata dan pengelolaan SSID yang kurang optimal di rusunawa UHAMKA, sehingga berdampak pada akses informasi dan komunikasi mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah PPDIOO dengan simulasi menggunakan cisco packet tracer dan topologi star yang dipilih untuk memberikan koneksi stabil dan pengelolaan jaringan yang mudah. Hasil dari simulasi menunjukan seluruh perangkat saling terhubung dengan baik, ditandai dengan berhasilnya pengujian ping IP antar perangkat. Penelitian menyimpulkan metode PPDIOO berhasil dalam merancang jaringan internet yang efektif dan terstruktur di lingkungan tempat tinggal mahasiswa. Sehingga dapat meningkatkan akses aktivitas akademik dan komunikasi secara baik. Kata kunci: cisco packet tracer; jaringan komputer; PPDIOO

Abstract

This study explores university lecturers’ perceptions of a national professional development program delivered asynchronously via the Moodle platform in Indonesia. While asynchronous learning is increasingly adopted for large-scale training, limited research has examined how lecturers in developing countries perceive its usability, effectiveness, and challenges. Addressing this gap, the study aimed to investigate lecturers’ perceptions and the challenges they encountered during Moodle-based asynchronous training. Using a mixed-methods approach with a sequential explanatory design, this study involved 511 Indonesian lecturers selected through total population sampling for the quantitative phase and purposive sampling for the qualitative interviews. The questionnaire as the quantitative instrument measured four sub-scales: accessibility, ease of use, effectiveness, and motivational impact of LMS. The questionnaire demonstrated strong reliability (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0.877). Descriptive statistical analysis was employed, revealing high mean scores for all aspects (M = 4.65 to 4.85), indicating positive perceptions of the training. The highest agreement was found in the ease of implementing the training via the LMS (M = 4.85, SD = 0.39). Qualitative data were collected through semi-structured interviews and analysed thematically, highlighting challenges such as unstable internet access, limited device functionality, and unclear material organization. These results suggest that while Moodle is perceived as an effective tool for professional development, structural and technical improvements are needed. The study recommends enhanced technical support, better content structuring, and training orientation to increase engagement and learning outcomes in similar future programs.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop a PHP-based vehicle rental application for PT. Duta Rental Mobil using the Waterfall method. The rapid advancements in information technology have transformed the operations of many businesses, including the vehicle rental sector. PT. Duta Rental Mobil currently manages rental data, vehicle inventory, and transaction reports manually, leading to inefficiency, potential errors, and a lack of data accuracy. This application is developed using PHP and MySQL, focusing on managing customer data, vehicle information, and transactions. With the expectation that computerized results will enhance operational efficiency, minimize errors, accelerate transactions, and provide accurate real-time information.

Abstract

This study explores the UI (User Interface) and UX (User Experience) design process of an educational application called FIDEXA-SD, developed specifically for elementary school students and teachers. The core problem identified is the limited availability of digital learning tools that are both engaging for young learners and practical for educators. To address this, the Design Thinking approach was implemented through five iterative stages: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. Using Figma, the research team designed interactive prototypes for student and teacher interfaces. Data were gathered through interviews, questionnaires, and usability testing involving 5 students from grades 2 to 4 and 3 teachers. Results showed that students found the visual design attractive and intuitive, while teachers appreciated the clean and functional dashboard layout. Some usability issues, such as confusing quiz navigation and unclear material upload options, were uncovered and addressed through design iteration. This study highlights how combining Design Thinking with Figma can effectively produce user-centered designs tailored to the needs of both learners and educators. The findings also provide a solid foundation for future development and real-world classroom implementation.

Abstract

The increasing number of monkeypox cases has become a global health issue that de-mands rapid and accurate diagnosis. In Indonesia, monkeypox cases reached 88 victims as of August, 2024. The complex symptoms of monkeypox, which often resemble those of other diseases, require advanced technology to distinguish them in a short amount of time. The purpose of this research is to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the model in identifying monkeypox skin lesions automatically and quickly, thereby supporting the medical diagnosis process more effectively. This study proposes an innovative approach by combining Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix (GLCM) feature extraction with deep learning architectures ResNet50 and VGG16 for detecting monkeypox in skin lesion im-ages The results show a significant improvement in classification accuracy for both Res-Net50 and VGG16. The GLCM-VGG16 model achieved an accuracy of 95.75%, an im-provement of 18.57% from its original 77.18% without GLCM features. The GLCM-ResNet50 model reached an accuracy of 98.07%, marking a 44.82% increase from the initial 53.25%. The training time of models with GLCM features was also faster compared to models without GLCM. The integration of GLCM successfully captured unique texture characteristics in monkeypox lesions, thereby enhancing the model's ability to distinguish them from other skin diseases. These findings indicate that the combination of GLCM with CNN architectures can be an effective approach for accurately and efficiently detect-ing skin diseases.

Abstract

This study aims to design the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of the Golkar Party National Witness Agency (BSNPG) website as a strategic medium in supporting public information disclosure and increasing public understanding of the institutional functions of BSNPG in the context of elections. To achieve this objective, a Design Thinking approach consisting of five stages was used: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. User needs were identified through interviews and surveys involving BSNPG members and the general public as potential users. Based on these results, a website prototype was designed and its usability was tested using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method. The evaluation was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 30 respondents, and the results showed an average score of 71.33%. This score falls into the good and acceptable category, indicating that the prototype successfully meets the aspects of comfort, ease of use, and functional effectiveness from the users' perspective. These findings indicate that the BSNPG website design not only enhances public access to information but also strengthens the institutional image of BSNPG as a professional, transparent, and inclusive organization supporting democratic processes. This study also underscores the importance of adopting a user-centered approach in the development of digital systems for political organizations.

Abstract

Indonesia has high cultural diversity, but this diversity often becomes a challenge in communication between individuals from different cultural backgrounds. Based on these problems, this study aims to analyze and improve students' diversity motivation by implementing the Independent Student Exchange Program (PMM) as part of universities' Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) policy. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The subjects in this study were 103 PMM student participants from various universities in Indonesia. Data were collected through a questionnaire with an assessment scale to measure students' level of diversity motivation. The results of the data analysis showed that the PMM program succeeded in creating a significant cross-cultural learning experience, marked by an average questionnaire score of 95%. This program encourages students to respect cultural differences, strengthen a sense of unity, and foster an inclusive attitude. The conclusion of this study shows that the Independent Student Exchange Program effectively increases diversity motivation among students. The implications of this study underline the importance of integrating diversity values ​​in the independent curriculum to form adaptive and tolerant student characters in facing the challenges of the era of globalization and the Industrial Revolution 4.0.
