Abstract

The mass media plays an important role in election agenda setting, where they determine the issues that are considered important and discussed by the public. This research aims to analyze how the political economy of the media influences the election agenda setting in Indonesia. This research uses qualitative methods with case studies in national mass media during the 2024 Presidential Election campaign. Data was collected through media content analysis and interviews with sources from mass media, academics and social movement activists. The research results show that the political economy of the media has a significant influence on the election agenda setting in Indonesia. The mass media tends to give a larger share of news to candidates and political parties with strong economic and political power. This research also found that the mass media often ignores issues that are important to society at large, such as poverty, social inequality and environmental damage. This happens because the mass media is more interested in reporting sensational issues and attracting public attention. This research recommends the need for stricter media regulations to prevent media bias in election agenda setting. The public also needs to increase media literacy so that they are not easily influenced by media framing.

Abstract

Students' trust in guidance and counseling teachers is an important factor in determining their interest in participating in counseling services, especially group counseling. However, it is still often found that students lack trust in guidance and counseling teachers which results in students' lack of interest in participating in counseling services. Therefore, the principle of confidentiality needs to be implemented so as to build students' trust in the guidance and counseling teacher. The aim of this research is to analyze the relationship between the principle of confidentiality and students' trust in providing group counseling services. The method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive method, data collection is obtained from data collection using instruments. This research aims to build students' trust in guidance and counseling teachers, so that students will be more open in dealing with their personal problems and can optimize benefits. The results of the analysis show that the majority of respondents strongly disagree with the view that confidentiality is not important in group counseling. Most BK teachers agree that the principle of confidentiality is very important. However, there are still many guidance counselors who consider it unimportant, giving rise to students' lack of trust in guidance counselors when providing group counseling services. These findings emphasize the importance of implementing the principle of confidentiality in group counseling practices, both between guidance counselors and students and between students and students. However, the findings also highlight that there are a number of guidance and counseling teachers who do not prioritize confidentiality aspects in group counseling practices.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja karyawan di sektor publik, khususnya pada instansi pemerintahan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Data dikumpulkan dari 120 responden yang bekerja di lingkungan Pemerintah Daerah Aceh. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner dengan skala Likert 5 poin. Hasil analisis regresi linear menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Dimensi pengaruh ideal, motivasi inspirasional, stimulasi intelektual, dan pertimbangan individual menjadi faktor utama dalam membentuk semangat kerja dan pencapaian kinerja optimal. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan pentingnya pengembangan kepemimpinan transformasional dalam tata kelola pemerintahan yang efektif.

Abstract

Pemahaman karir pada usia dini sangat penting bagi perkembangan individu, terutama siswa Sekolah Dasar (SD) yang mulai menunjukkan minat dan kecenderungan terhadap berbagai profesi. Namun, siswa di SDN Selaendah Desa Sadangmekar masih belum memadai, sehingga dibutuhkan solusi untuk menanggulangi masalah tersebut. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman karir siswa melalui metode Role-Playing Games (RPG) dengan fokus pada siswa kelas 6 di SDN Selaendah. Metode ini diterapkan melalui tahap pembelajaran, pendampingan, observasi, dan evaluasi (pre-test dan post-test). Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan nilai post-test dalam pemahaman karir siswa dengan rata-rata kenaikan skor 0,62 setelah dilaksanakan role play game. Selain itu, metode ini juga berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa seperti komunikasi dan kolaborasi. Dampaknya siswa menjadi lebih antusias dalam belajar dan termotivasi mengeksplorasi pilihan karir. Lebih lanjut, kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif untuk mitra sekolah sebagai referensi dalam mengembangkan pendekatan pembelajaran karir yang lebih interaktif dan efektif.
