Abstract

Job rotation is increasingly recognized as an important strategy in building adaptive organizations, yet its effectiveness on improving employee competencies and career satisfaction in the private sector has not been extensively studied. This study aims to analyze the influence of job rotation on employee competence development, both in terms of technical and behavioral competencies. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with thematic analysis to reveal how job rotation not only moves employees between functions, but also shapes learning experiences that accelerate professional growth. By integrating Kolb's experiential learning theory (1984), Spencer & Spencer's competency model (1993), and Greenhaus et al.'s career satisfaction framework (2010), this study finds that strategically managed job rotation can accelerate competency development and enhance career satisfaction through motivation, clarity of direction, and cross-functional insights. However, unstructured rotation policies may hinder these benefits. This study provides a new perspective on job rotation as a transformative and sustainable career development tool.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of discipline, work ethics, and compliance in shaping employee work behavior through a theoretical approach and literature review. These three aspects are considered fundamental elements that contribute to improving work effectiveness and achieving organizational targets. The research method used is a literature review, examining 11 relevant scientific references, including national and international journals discussing discipline, work ethics, compliance, and employee performance. Research findings indicate that work ethics serve as a moral foundation that influences the development of disciplined behavior and compliance in carrying out tasks. Discipline is closely related to compliance, especially in the implementation of standard operating procedures, adherence to regulations, and fulfillment of work responsibilities. Furthermore, these three variables positively impact the improvement of performance, productivity, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction across various fields. Therefore, this literature review affirms that discipline, work ethics, and compliance are interconnected foundations of work behavior and have a significant influence on organizational effectiveness. The results of this study are expected to serve as a reference for the development of policies, training programs, and human resource management strategies in the workplace.

Abstract

Job satisfaction is an important element in human resource management, influenced by various organizational aspects. This study aims to thoroughly examine how compensation, motivation, and transformational leadership affect employees' perceptions and job satisfaction through a comprehensive literature review. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with a literature study method. Data were obtained from secondary sources such as books and scientific journal articles published between 2020 and 2025. Data analysis was conducted through thematic analysis (Braun & Clarke, 2006) by synthesizing theories from various related literature. The analysis findings indicate that employees' views on compensation are not limited to financial aspects but also include fairness and recognition. Work motivation arises from both intrinsic and extrinsic factors that influence each other in building job satisfaction. Transformational leadership, with its four dimensions, has been shown to play an important role in shaping employee job satisfaction. These three elements interact dynamically to achieve maximum job satisfaction. This study emphasizes the need for a holistic strategy that combines compensation, motivation, and transformational leadership to continuously enhance employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

Discipline in improving performance as well as compliance of Human Resources (HR) within an organization. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach through literature review on the concepts of work ethics, discipline, and their relationship with employee performance and compliance. Data collection was conducted through literature review (library research), which includes: Books, national and international journals. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively with stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The analysis results show that professional ethics can serve as a guideline for employees to act consistently, transparently, and accountably in their work, thereby producing more effective performance. In addition, disciplinary systems such as the provision of rewards and punishments, clear work procedures, and periodic performance evaluations have been proven to strengthen employee compliance with organizational rules. Professional ethics applied consistently can create a positive work culture and support the achievement of organizational goals. This study implies that organizations need to strengthen the code of ethics, increase the socialization of work rules, and develop an effective supervision system so that employee compliance and performance can continue to improve.
