Abstract

This paper aims to create Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate green supply chain management (GSCM) for palm oil industry in Indonesia. Green supply chain management (GSCM) is a method to integrate environmental aspects to their supply chain. The method in creating KPIs using Green SCOR Model as a basis to develop green objectives and all of indicators. There are 23 KPIs from 9 green objectives for GSCM of palm oil industry in Indonesia. To ensure KPIs more precise then the impotance level of KPIs are measured using analaytic hierarchy process (AHP). According to the experts in palm oil industries there is managing plantations and palm oil mill using ISPO and RSPO certification as the dominant green objectives (29.7 %), followed by minimize and tackle emission from global warming gass (15,9 %), and manage waste ( 11,8 %).

Abstract

Unwittingly, musculoskeletal disorders are complaints that often occur in workers who work in positions that are not ergonomic and persistently. This happened to Yogas Syrup SMEs packaging operator workers. With work facilities in the form of stool chairs, the operator's work position is less comfortable. The purpose of this study was to analyze the work postures of the packaging operator of Yogas Syrup SMEs so that an ergonomic work posture was improved for the operator. The method used in this study is to use the OWAS (Ovako Working Analysis System) method with the help of ergofellow software. The results of this study found that the operator packaging work posture at the UMKM Yogas Syrup was at level 2 (medium potential). This means that the packaging operators at UMKM Syrup Yogas need to get the improved posture and work facilities soon.

Abstract

PG. Jatibarang Brebes is the first company directly under the BUMN (Badan Usaha Milik Negara)  company. this is company produces sugar of Central Java region which is under PTPN IX. There are six stages in the process of producing sugar, namely the milling stage, purification stage, evaporation stage, crystallization stage, the stage of rotation and finishing. The last activity is the packaging of sugar into the sack of 50 kg carried by the operator who sits on a sack with irregular heights. Seen from the aspect of ergonomic seating position is not very suitable because sugar packaging operators work in an uncomfortable position. Therefore, it is necessary to design seats for ergonomic sugar packaging operators. The method used to design this chair is with the concept of ergonomics. The required data include anthropometric data of operator body size, operator complaint during work, packaging process time during work. Then the data is processed to be applied to the design. The design is a prototype which will be measured and compared the output results in the conditions before and after the design was applied. The standard of production output was increased from 384,6 sacks/hour to 454.5 sacks/hour (18,17%) after the new design chair has been applied.

Abstract

Design and redesign are some of the fields of study in ergonomics. The purpose of the design and redesign is to achieve comfort and increase productivity. Ergonomics is a science that integrates workers with the environment around them at work. So it is hoped that integration can be applied to all organizations. CV Abadi Jaya Presisi is a company engaged in the production of plastic, where workers carry out finishing stages without fulfilling ergonomic aspects. Namely, the use of a worker's chair made of plastic is not following the dimensions of the worker. The method used in this study is quantitative with anthropometric data as primary data. First, the anthropometric data of finished workers were used in this study. Then the data is tested for normality, uniformity test, and data adequacy test. After testing the data, the next step is to calculate the percentile value used to determine the size of the ergonomic chair to be designed. According to the findings of this study, the width of the chair is 42.1 cm, the height of the chair is 30.3 cm, the length of the chair is 43.2 cm, the length of the back of the chair is 49.9 cm, and the height of the seat elbow is 21.6 cm.
