Abstract

Nurses are providers of constant and continuous service for 24 hours to patients. A good nurse's performance is the main key in improving the quality of health services. By increasing and strengthening spiritual intelligence, nurses can protect themselves from the inevitable negative effects of job stress so that they are more effective in improving their performance. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship of spiritual intelligence with the performance of nurses at the in Haji Province Hospital of South Sulawesi. The research design uses a quantitative cross-sectional study. The research sample of 70 respondents who were determined by total sampling technique. Data were analyzed by univariate analysis, bivariate chi-square test. Chi-Square test results indicate that spiritual intelligence with nurse performance is worth p = 0.007 which means that there is a relationship between spiritual intelligence and nurse performance. The breakdown of the relationship between performance components and spiritual intelligence is nurse quality p = 0.005, quantity p = 0.005, effectiveness p = 0.021, cooperation p = 0.000, independence p = 0.022, commitment p = 0.001. Based on these data, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between quality, quantity, effectiveness, cooperation, independence and commitment of nurses to nurse performance

Abstract

Personal hygiene is an action to maintain the cleanliness and health of a person for his welfare, both physical and psychological. If someone is sick, usually the health problem is less attention. This happens because it considers the problem of cleanliness is a trivial problem, even though if it is not paid attention to can affect general health. This study aims to determine the factors associated with personal hygiene in young women at SMP Negeri 4 Majene. This study used an analytic survey design with a cross sectional study approach. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 4 Majene, Majene Regency with a total sample of 47 young women. Sampling is done by total sampling method. The results showed sufficient personal hygiene behavior of 31 people (65.1%) and less by 16 people (34.9%). Chi-Square test results showed no relationship between the level of knowledge of young women with personal hygiene with Fisher Exact values ​​obtained p = 1.00 and there was no relationship between the level of confidence of young women with personal hygiene with continuity correction values ​​obtained p = 0.533. The conclusion of this study is that there is no relationship between the factors of knowledge and belief in personal hygiene of teenage girls at Majene Neg 4 Middle School.

Abstract

Stres kerja perawat sangat perlu nntuk diperhatikan. Stres yang dilami perawat berdampak pada kualitas pelayanannya Kualitas pelayanan yang menurun akan mengakibatkan perawatan kebutuhan dasar manusia yang tidak terpenuhi akan sulit dicapai sesuai dengan target outcome yang diharapkan.. Tujuan : Literature Review ini adalah untuk menganalisis keterkaitan tingkat stres kerja terhadap kinerja perawat dalam melaksanakan pelayanan keperawatan di ruang instalasi gawat darurat (IGD). Metode : Penelitian menggunakan metode Literature Review ini dengan mengumpulkan dari artikel yang didapat pada database Google Scholar dan Pubmed dengan rentang waktu 2016-2021. Hasil : Hasil dari 7 jurnal yang telah di review diketahui 1 dari 7 hasil penelitian yang ditemukan perawat memiliki tingkat stres ringan dengan kinerja baik, 4 dari 7 jurnal memiliki tingkat stres sedang dengan kinerja kurang baik, dan 2 dari 7 jurnal memiliki tingkat stres berat dengan kinerja kurang baik. Kesimpulan : Sebagian besar perawat mengalami stress tingkat sedang dengan kinerja kurang baik. Selain itu, didapatkan perawat mengalami stres tingkat berat dengan kinerja juga dalam kategori kurang baik. Rekomendasi: perlu dilakukan kajian lebih lanjut tentang pengaruh pengelolaan stress manajer keperawatan terhadap tingkat stress kerja perawat, penggunaan dokumentasi digital dalam peningkatan kinerja perawat serta pelibatan keluarga pasien dalam perawatan pasien di instalasi gawat darurat.

Abstract

 ABSTRACT Background: Work Engagement is an attitude or condition of a person who has a positive attitude regarding his behavior at work which is indicated by increased performance at a higher level and commitment to the organization or work. Work Engagement is characterized by vigor, dedication, and absorption in work.Purpose: The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between nurse characteristics and work engagement. Methods: This type of research is quantitative research with a cross-sectional approach. The number of samples in this study was 168 respondents who were determined based on the Slovin formula and selected using the Stratified Random Sampling technique. Results: The research results based on the chi-square test show that there is no significant relationship between nurse characteristics and work engagement in working in hospitals. However, there was a significant relationship between nurse characteristics and employment status and work engagement (p=0.008), especially vigor (p=0.001) and Working Time with absorption (p=0.039). Conclusion: The conclusion of this study shows that nurses still need to maintain and maintain the quality of their service to their work because someone can feel attached to their work if they enjoy their work, are confident in their work and are committed to their work. ABSTRAKLatar Belakang : Keterikatan Kerja merupakan suatu sikap atau kondisi seseorang yang memiliki sikap positif terhadap perilakunya di tempat kerja yang ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan kinerja pada level yang lebih tinggi dan komitmen terhadap organisasi atau pekerjaan. Keterikatan Kerja ditandai dengan semangat, dedikasi, dan konsentrasi dalam bekerja.Tujuan : Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara karakteristik perawat dengan keterikatan kerja.Metode : Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 168 responden yang ditentukan berdasarkan rumus Slovin dan dipilih menggunakan teknik Stratified Random Sampling.Hasil : Hasil penelitian berdasarkan uji chi-square menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara karakteristik perawat dengan work engagement pada perawat yang bekerja di rumah sakit. Namun, terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara karakteristik perawat dengan status kepegawaian dan work engagement (p=0,008), terutama vigor (p=0,001) dan Lama Kerja dengan absorption (p=0,039).Kesimpulan : Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perawat tetap perlu menjaga dan mempertahankan mutu pelayanannya terhadap pekerjaannya karena seseorang dapat merasa terikat dengan pekerjaannya jika ia menyenangi pekerjaannya, yakin dengan pekerjaannya dan berkomitmen terhadap pekerjaannya.

Abstract

Joint flexibility decreases in the elderly due to degenerative processes in the joints, connective tissue, and cartilage. This is also caused by a reduction in the elasticity of muscle fibers, where the connective tissue in muscle fibers increases. This study aims to examine the effect of Range of Motion (ROM) exercises with a frequency of once every 3 days on improving knee joint Range of Motion in elderly individuals with physical mobility disorders. The method used is quantitative with a pre-post experimental design using a One-group pre-post test design approach. The research sample was selected using purposive sampling, with a total of 20 elderly respondents. The study was conducted in three therapy sessions on days 1, 4, and 8. The results showed a significant difference in the extension and flexion angles of the knee joint before and after the ROM therapy. The p-value obtained for both the knee extension and flexion angles was 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant improvement in knee joint flexibility after performing ROM exercises. In conclusion, ROM exercises performed with a frequency of once every 3 days are effective in improving knee joint Range of Motion in elderly individuals with physical mobility disorders. Therefore, this exercise is recommended as a routine intervention for the elderly at least twice a week to maintain joint flexibility and reduce the risk of mobility disorders.
