Abstract

Tujuan pelatihan pada program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu; untuk memberikan pemahaman dan melatih guru SDN melalui pelatihan Pengembangan Pembelajaran Berorientasi Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) Bagi Guru SDN Kecamatan Banjarmasin Utara, dimana masa setelah pandemi Covid 19, terjadi penurunan kinerja guru dalam pembelajaran. Upaya mengembalikan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dapat dengan melibatkan peserta didik mencapai tingkat berpikir yang lebih tinggi. Metode yang digunakan berupa pelatihan pengembangan pembelajaran berorientasi HOTS bagi guru SDN Kecamatan Banjarmasin Utara. Dalam pelatihan ini guru secara mandiri dibekali pengetahuan dan dilatih membuat persiapan, melaksanakan dan evaluasi pembelajaran berorientasi HOTS. Teknik analisis data skor pengetahuan peserta pada pretest dan posttest, serta dari hasil observasi selama praktik oleh peserta pelatihan. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan diperoleh bahwa pelatihan memberikan manfaat dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan guru-guru di SDN Kecamatan Banjarmasin Utara. Rata-rata nilai pretest adalah 59,72 dan rata-rata hasil posttest adalah 83,33. Persentase peningkatan sebesar 42,58% pembelajaran berorientasi HOTS dapat terlaksana sekolah dasar untuk membuat siswa terbiasa dengan cara berpikir membuat siswa mampu menyampaikan ide-ide argumentatif, logis, dan percaya diri, baik tertulis, lisan, dan bekal siswa di tingkat pendidikan berikutnya.Abstract. The objectives of the training in this community service program are; to provide understanding and train SDN teachers through training on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) Oriented Learning Development for SDN Teachers in North Banjarmasin District, where after the covid 19 pandemic, teacher performance decreased in learning. Efforts to improve the quality of learning can be restored by involving students to reach a higher level of thinking. The method used is in the form of HOTS-oriented learning development training for SDN teachers in North Banjarmasin District. In this training, teachers are independently provided with knowledge and trained to prepare, implement and evaluate HOTS-oriented learning. The data analysis technique of participants' knowledge scores in the pre-test and post-test, as well as from the results of observations during practice by training participants. The results of the implementation of the activity showed that the training provided benefits in increasing the knowledge of teachers at SDN, North Banjarmasin District. The average pre-test score was 59.72 and the post-test average was 83.33. The percentage increase of 42.58% HOTS-oriented learning can be carried out in elementary schools to make students familiar with the way of thinking so that students are able to convey argumentative, logical, and confident ideas, both written, oral, and provided for students at the next level of education.
