Abstract

The study is motivated low value math test results on material the principal fragments, it marked the average value of repeat students who are still at the bottom of the KKM with 20 students who did not reach the KKM. Based on these problems, the aim of the research is to describe implementation of the realistic mathematic education approach in planning, implementation and increase student learning outcome in mathematics learning in class V matter fractions in SDN 3 Cibodas.This research used classroom action research, which adapts the Kemmis & Mc. Taggart with three cycles. The techniques of collecting data were observation and test. The result of research indicated the score of cognitive in cycle I got 67,73, increase in cycle II became 76,92 and in cycle III got 82,76. In the affective students when doing LKS in their groups with a percentage of cycle I 64.90 % cycle II Increased 71.85% and cycle III reached 77.08%. Based on the above research results it can be concluded that the use of the Realistic Mathematic Education model can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics with fraction subject matter

Abstract

Abstract. Critical Thinking Skills is very important for us because critical thinking skills can be used to solve problems and as a judgement in right decision making. One of the methods used to equip students with critical thinking skills is using Creative Problem Solving (CPS) model in mathematics class. This research is a qualitative descriptive research aimed to describe the critical thinking skills of students in X-Class using CPS model in solving quadratic equations problems and the provision of scaffolding. The subject of this research is students of SMK N 2 Jember grade 10 (X-Class). The method of data collecting used in this research is critical thinking skills test and interview. Analysis of students critical thinking skills test is based on critical thinking skills indicat by Facione determined by the researcher. The results of this research showed that sudents critical thinking skills in X-TPM Class at SMK Negeri 2 Jember generally can be grouped into 3 categories are high, average, and low critical thinking skills. Students with high critical thinking skills satisfy all of crtitical thinking skills indicarors. Students with average critical thinking skills can only satisfy interpretation and analysis indicators. But less capable in evaluation and inference indicators. Whereas, the students with low critical thinking skills are less capable in interpreting the problem and they can't satisfy analysis, evaluation, and inference indicators. Abstract

Schools are the main and strategic place in instilling values or caring attitudes in conditions of recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic. MI An-Nur, Cirebon City, is an Islamic Elementary School or equivalent to an Elementary School, which is located on Jl Kutagara, Pekalipan District, Cirebon City. The poor condition of the trash cans and the lack of availability made students dispose of garbage incorrectly according to the type of waste. The habit of throwing garbage in one place without sorting it based on the type of waste is still not visible from the habits of the students. Therefore it is necessary to cultivate an attitude of care and love for the environment through making ecobricks for students. The purpose of this activity is to introduce and provide training and habituation of ecobricks to students so they care about and love the environment so they know how to process waste and not litter. The method used is Qualitative Research which intends to understand the phenomena experienced by utilizing natural methods. The research was carried out at the MI AN-NUR school, Cirebon City, Jagasatru District, which was carried out for 40 days.Data collection techniques used are in the form of observation, interviews (interviews), and documentation.Primary data in this research, in the form of data from student observations in introducing ecobricks and making ecobricks simultaneously accompanied by the teacher and taking photos as evidence of research implementation. Data analysis techniques in this study are data collection, data presentation, data reduction and conclusion/verification. The results of the evaluation can be concluded that the level of students' understanding regarding training and habituation in making ecobricks to instill an attitude of care and love for the environment is categorized as moderate.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan self efficacy siswa sebagai akibat dari penerapan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen, dengan desain yang digunakan adalah ‘nonequivalent control group design”. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV di SDN Gudangkahuripan, Kabupaten Bandung Barat dan Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV di SDN 1 dan 2 Gudangkahuripan. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan angket skala likert untuk menganalisis self-efficacy siswa. Analisis statistik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah independent sample t-test, Mann-Whitney U, one way ANOVA dan two way ANOVA. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan self-efficacy antara siswa yang belajar dengan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education dibandingkan dengan siswa yang belajar dengan pembelajaran langsung berdasarkan skor N-gain; ditinjau berdasarkan level kemampuan awal matematis menunjukan bahwa pengelompokkan berdasarkan level kemampuan awal matematis berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang belajar dengan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education ditinjau berdasarkan kemampuan awal matematis siswa (tinggi, sedang dan rendah).

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji peran mahasiswa dalam mewujudkan moderasi beragama di Desa Weru Kidul, menghadapi kendala seperti kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat, keterbatasan sumber daya, dan dukungan pihak terkait. Metodologi yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumentasi program. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa aktif dalam pendidikan agama inklusif, kampanye toleransi, dan fasilitasi dialog antaragama, yang berkontribusi pada peningkatan sikap toleran dan penghargaan terhadap perbedaan. Kendala utama meliputi resistensi masyarakat dan keterbatasan sumber daya. Upaya yang dilakukan mencakup edukasi berkelanjutan, pencarian sumber daya alternatif, dan kerjasama dengan pihak terkait. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa meskipun dampak positif sudah terlihat, keberlanjutan memerlukan dukungan jangka panjang dari berbagai pihak untuk memastikan moderasi beragama dapat terus berkembang dan memberikan manfaat yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study discusses the Effectiveness of Experimental Methods on Student Learning Outcomes in Science Subjects Material Changes in Forms of Objects in Class IV MI Ma'arif Sutawinangun Cirebon Regency Year. The study was motivated by teachers who were less creative when choosing the right learning method, at the time of learning the teacher only provided conventional methods with continuous care and rarely used experimental methods for science subjects so that there was a lack of enthusiasm and student activity in the learning process, which affected the learning process. student learning outcomes are still less than optimal. This study aims to determine the learning outcomes of the control class students who were taught without using the experimental method and the experimental class that was taught using the experimental method. And to find out whether the experimental method is effective in improving the learning outcomes of fourth grade students of MI Ma'arif Sutawinangun. This research is a type of quantitative research using the experimental method of this research model, namely the posttest-only control design. The population of this study was the fourth grade students of MI Ma'arif Sutawinangun, the number of which was 52 students divided into 2 classes, namely the control class and the experimental class. Researchers used observation instruments, multiple choice questions and documentation, in data management used descriptive data analysis and hypothesis testing analysis. The results of data analysis using descriptive statistics through experimental methods on the learning outcomes of fourth grade students of MI Ma'arif Sutawinangun are effective. This can be shown through hypothesis testing independent sample t-test, the value of tcount is 2.811 > ttable, which is 2.007. So from these results it can be seen that the experimental method is effective in improving the learning outcomes of fourth grade students of MI Ma'arif Sutawinangun. In other words, this hypothesis is accepted. The application of the experimental method is expected to illustrate that the learning method does not always use the lecture method. With the experimental method, it is hoped that students will be more active and creative in the learning process so that they can improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students of MI Ma'arif Sutawinangun. Abstrak Penelitian ini membahas Efektivitas Metode Eksperimen Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran IPA Materi Perubahan Wujud Benda Kelas IV MI Ma’arif Sutawinangun Kabupaten Cirebon Tahun. Kajiannya dilatar belakangi oleh guru yang kurang kreatif pada saat memilih metode pembelajaran yang tepat, pada saat pembelajaran guru hanya memberikan metode konvensional dengan terus menurus dan jarang sekali menggunakan metode eksperimen untuk mata pelajaran IPA sehingga kurangnya antusias serta keaktifan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran, yang berpengaruh pada hasil belajar siswa yang masih kurang maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa kelas kontrol yang di ajar tanpa menggunakan metode eksperimen dan kelas eksperimen yang di ajar menggunakan metode eksperimen. Serta untuk mengetahui apakah metode eksperimen efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV MI Ma’arif Sutawinangun. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen model penelitian ini yaitu posttest-only control design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV MI Ma’arif Sutawinangun yang jumlahnya 52 siswa yang terbagi dalam 2 kelas yaitu kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Peneliti menggunakan instrumen Observasi, tes soal pilihan ganda dan dokumentasi, dalam pengelolaan data digunakan analisis data deskrptif serta analisis uji hipotesis. Hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif melalui metode eksperimen terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV MI Ma’arif Sutawinangun ini efektif. Hal ini dapat ditunjukkan melalui uji hipotesis uji independent sampel t-test diperoleh nilai thitung yaitu 2,811 > ttabel yaitu 2,007. Sehingga dari hasil ini dapat di ketahui bahwa metode eksperimen efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV MI Ma’arif Sutawinangun. Dimana dengan kata lain hipotesis ini diterima. Penerapan metode eksperimen diharapkan dapat memberi gambaran bahwa metode pembelajaran tidak selalu menggunakan metode ceramah. Dengan adanya metode eksperimen di harapkan siswa lebih aktif dan kreatif dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV MI Ma’arif Sutawinangun.
