Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menambah pengetahuan mahasiswa tentang mengolahan daun nilam menjadi minyak atsiri. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan pembuatan minyak atsiri dari daun nilam. Kegiatan pengabdian ini diikuti oleh 50 orang diantaranya yaitu Dosen STKIP Al Maksum Langkat yang berjumlah 8 orang, Mahasiswa STKIP Al Maksum Langkat yang berjumlah 35 orang, dan Petani daun nilam yang berjumlah 7 orang. Berdasarkan hasil yang telah diperoleh dari kegiatan pengabdian ini, kegiatan ini sangat berdampak positif bagi dosen dan mahasiswa STKIP Al Maksum Langkat, karena dari kegiatan pengabdian ini dosen dan mahasiswa mendapatkan pengalaman dan pengetahuan baru tentang pemanfaatan daun nilam menjadi minyak atsiri.

Abstract

Weaknesses in the implementation of the learning process must be addressed through conducting an action research. This prompted the researcher to conduct a class action research. The research aimed to improve the learning process as well as to increase students' learning achievement. The subject of the research was 3rd grade students. While the object of research is Indonesian language learning achievement. Learning achievement data was collected through learning achievement tests and then analysed using descriptive analysis. Success criteria: class average score of at least 75 and classical completeness of at least 85%. The initial data only reached a score of 68.12 with 45% learning completeness, in cycle I it rose to 79.36 with 75% learning completeness, and in cycle II it rose to 88.21 with 97% learning completeness. The data in cycle II shows that the expected success has been achieved and has even exceeded the success indicators of the proposed research study. Thus, the researcher concluded that the jigsaw type cooperative learning model applied in the learning process was able to improve the Indonesian language learning achievement of grade 3 students.

Abstract

This study aim for evaluate approach i nterdisciplinary in mitigation disaster at school base with analyze in a way detailed from various source literature. This study use method study literature.Technique data collection used that is articles that have been published in journals national and international in 2020-2024, which examines variety approach interdisciplinarity used, challenges faced in its application and impact to results study student. Based on results research, it is known that results analysis give description comprehensive How integration eye lesson can influence effectiveness initiative mitigation disaster level education base. With integrate various discipline knowledge like knowledge nature, science social and civic to in curriculum, we can create more approach holistic and coordinated to situation disaster. Through method learning interdisciplinary and strengthening skills practical, initiative mitigation disaster can become more effective and meaningful for student school basic, helpful they no only understand risk, but also encouraging development of more prevention strategies good. Implications from study this is very important for development policies and practices education related mitigation disaster at school base. Therefore that, this research not only give outlook about successes and challenges approach interdisciplinary, but also inspiring action constructive for increase resilience generation young to future disaster.

Abstract

The present study is motivated by ninth-grade students' low science learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 2 Labuhan Deli. The study aimed to improve students' science learning outcomes using the concept map method. The research instruments used in this study were observation and test questions. The data analysis shows an improvement in students' learning outcomes. In the pre-test on dynamic electricity, only seven students (33.3%) achieved a score of 70 or above, while 14 students (66.6%) did not. The average pre-test score was 62. After being taught using the concept map method, in the post-test, 18 students (85.7%) were deemed to have achieved mastery if their scores were equal to or above the minimum passing grade of 70, while three students (14.3%) did not achieve mastery. Thus, applying the concept map learning method to dynamic electricity material is quite effective because it can improve student learning outcomes. The N-gain test data calculation also yielded an N-Gain score of 46.01%, which falls under the Effective N-Gain Interpretation Category. -Gain Interpretation Category, where a score of 46–75 is interpreted as sufficiently effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Keterampilan literasi merupakan fondasi penting dalam pendidikan dasar, tetapi hasil penelitian di SD Negeri 054901 Sidomulyo menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas V masih mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami isi bacaan, menyimpulkan informasi, dan menjawab pertanyaan teks. Minat baca yang rendah dan penggunaan metode konvensional merupakan salah satu penyebab lemahnya literasi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media komik berbasis literasi dan menguji efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan keterampilan literasi siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (R&D) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE dan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain kuasi eksperimen pretes-postes control group design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media komik meningkatkan keterampilan literasi siswa secara signifikan. Kelompok eksperimen mengalami peningkatan skor literasi sebesar 22,75 poin, jauh lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Komik yang dikembangkan menggabungkan ilustrasi dan narasi kontekstual untuk mendorong minat baca, pemahaman bacaan, dan partisipasi aktif siswa. Disarankan agar guru menggunakan media komik sebagai alternatif inovatif dalam pembelajaran literasi dan menerima pelatihan dalam mengembangkan media cerita visual yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa.

Abstract

Pengembangan Model Pembelajaran STAD (Student Teams Achievement) danModel Pembelajaran Jigsaw Terhadap Motivasi Pada Siswa Kelas VII Di SMPNegeri 5 Stabat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis 1) interaksi antaramodel pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar siswa padamateri Sejarah Lokal, 2) perbedaan prestasi belajar IPS siswa yang dibelajarkandengan model pembelajaran STAD (Student Teams Achievement) dan Jigsaw, 3)perbedaan prestasi belajar IPS siswa pada materi sejarah loakl yang mempunyaimotivasi belajar rendah yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran STAD(Student Teams Achievement) dan Jigsaw, Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Negeri 5Stabat kelas VII. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan Cluster RandomSampling.Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) ada interaksi antara modelpembelajaran (sig 0,018<0,05), motivasi belajar (sig 0,015<0,05) serta interaksimodel dan motivasi (sig 0,03<0,05) 2) rata-rata prestasi belajar siswa IPS siswayang menggunakan model pembelajaran STAD (student teams achievement) lebihtinggi dibandingkan dengan Jigsaw 86,20 >84,58.
