Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of liquidity on profitability with capital adequacy as a moderating variable in Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia. The research sample was 14 Islamic commercial banks during the 2016 - 2018 observation period. The dependent variable is profitability measured using Return On Assets (ROA), the independent variable is liquidity measured using the Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), the moderating variable is measured using the Capital Aquendency Ratio (CAR), and several control variables. Non Performing Financing (NPF), Operational Efficiency (BOPO), and Bank Size (SIZE). Hypothesis testing uses multiple linear regression with a random effect model. The results showed that bank liquidity was not proven to increase bank profitability and capital adequacy was not proven to moderate the relationship between the two. The results indicated that the efficiency factor and problematic financing The results indicate that the efficiency factor and non-performing financing are the main factors in influencing bank profitability.

Abstract

Managers' efforts to provide added value to the company can lead to conflicts of interest between agents (managers) and principals (owners). Problems may occur when relying on managers to control the company to improve company performance. This study aims to examine the factors that affect earnings management. This type of research is quantitative by using explanatory (Explanatory Research). The population in this study is State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample of this research is 20 BUMN listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2016-2020. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The technique used to analyze the data is inferential statistical analysis. The hypotheses were tested using panel data regression analysis. The results showed that profitability and leverage positively affected earnings management, while size did not affect earnings management. This finding shows that SOEs' profit-generating factors and debt ownership motivate management to carry out good earnings management for their shareholders.

Abstract

In the era of technology and information (IT) development and the adoption of the internet nowadays, promotion activities, especially digital marketing, have become the main necessity for a business. However, some people have problems providing attractive marketing content for promotions. One of the fundamental issues is the basic ability to take photos and make simple editing. Even though at this time, most people have access to mobile devices (smartphones) that can support the promotion activities. For example, a smartphone's photo camera can produce high-resolution photos and a design app on a smartphone can be used to edit photos for free. This community service activity was a collaboration between CEMSED FEB UKSW and Komunitas Bermain Benang. This community consists of mothers who have a hobby of knitting. By participating in this activity, participants are expected to have the simple photo and editing skills to enhance the promotion of knitting craft products.

Abstract

Pemasaran digital saat ini menjadi sebuah kebutuhan pokok bagi sebuah bisnis. Implementasi pemasaran digital berperan penting dalam meningkatkan pemasaran dan penjualan, serta efisiensi biaya. Namun, banyak para pelaku usaha yang masih memiliki keterbatasan dalam membuat konten pemasaran digital. Tiga kemampuan dan pemahaman yang perlu dikuasai oleh para pelaku usaha adalah: foto produk, desain konten, dan naskah iklan (copywriting). Untuk itu, kegiatan pelatihan yang memuat ketiga hal di atas sangat diperlukan oleh para pelaku usaha sehingga implementasi pemasaran digital dapat lebih maksimal. Kegiatan pelatihan ini diberikan kepada peserta dari Komunitas Bermain Benang Salatiga yang memiliki produk usaha yang bervariasi. Kegiatan pelatihan mencakup penyampaian materi, praktik, dan pendampingan saat kegiatan pelatihan berlangsung. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan mudah dipahami dan dipraktekkan serta bermanfaat untuk pengembangan usaha ke depannya. Selain itu, para pelaku usaha membutuhkan pelatihan dan pendampingan terkait terkait pemasaran digital, baik secara langsung (marketplace, manajemen kalendar konten, dan website profil usaha) maupun secara tidak langsung (pembukuan keuangan, penentuan harga, dan kemasan produk).

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dan internet memberikan peluang besar bagi bisnis kecil menengah (UMKM) untuk dapat memanfaatkan pemasaran digital untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan keberlangsungan usahanya. Namun saat ini masih terdapat banyak UMKM yang belum memahami dan mengoptimalkan saluran pemasaran digital, seperti media sosial dan website. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada UMKM Soramata di Kota Salatiga yang merupakan UMKM bidang produk kesenian, event organizer pentas seni dan budaya. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan UMKM Soramata dalam mengoptimalkan digital marketing melalui pengelolaan media sosial dan pembuatan website. Kegiatannya antara lain pelatihan tentang digital marketing dan media sosial Instagram, membuat desain konten menggunakan aplikasi Canva, membuat konten video menggunakan aplikasi CapCut, dan membuat website menggunakan aplikasi Google Sites. Berdasarkan hasil pre-test dan post-test, kegiatan pelatihan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan kru UMKM Soramata dalam pemasaran digital. Penerapan digital marketing diharapkan terus dilakukan agar UMKM Soramata memperoleh hasil yang maksimal.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan implementasi pemasaran digital pada UMKM Dzikro Coklat Kacang melalui pendampingan pemasaran digital berapa sosialisasi pada UMKM Dzikro Coklat Kacang. UMKM memiliki keterbatasan dalam Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) khususnya dalam hal pengelolaan penggunaan media sosial dan website. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah pendampingan pemasaran digital dengan melakukan pembuatan content plan berupa calendar posting menggunakan Google Spreadsheet, membuat desain konten menggunakan aplikasi Canva, dan pembuatan website menggunakan Google Sites. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman pelaku usaha mengenai pemasaran digital. Diharapkan hasil kegiatan berupa content plan, desain koten, dan website dapat dilanjutkan dan dikembangkan oleh pelaku usaha UMKM Dzikro Coklat Kacang di masa mendatang.

Abstract

The online presence of MSMEs on various digital platforms is now a necessity. Two of them are social media and websites as digital marketing media. However, many MSMEs have limited understanding and capabilities regarding digital marketing. This community service activity occurred at UMKM Amadonathi, a donut culinary business in Salatiga City. These activities include training and assistance in designing content plans using Google Spreadsheets, creating content design using Canva, and developing websites using Google Sites. In addition, this activity was carried out pre-test and post-test to see the results before and after the training and mentoring activities. The results show an increase in the understanding of business actors about digital marketing. It is hoped that the results of activities in content plan, content design, and website can be continued and developed by Amadonathi’s business actors independently in the future.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Good Corporate Governance (GCG) on firm value, with bank size as a moderator. The research sample consists of 28 banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2016 and 2022. The research hypotheses were tested using panel data regression with a random effect model.  The test results found that ERM has a positive effect on firm value and its effect is strengthened by bank size as a moderator. Meanwhile, the influence of Independent Commissioners and Managerial Ownership is not proven.  The findings of this study support the view that ERM disclosure is essential in boosting firm value for investors and stakeholders, particularly for big companies. The role of independent commissioners and managerial ownership can be optimized so that it can have a significant positive impact on the company, especially the stakeholders.Keywords: Enterprise Risk Management, Good Corporate Governance, Firm Value, Bank SizeABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) dan Good Corporate Governance (GCG) terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan ukuran bank sebagai pemoderasi. Hasil pengujian menemukan bahwa ERM berpengaruh positif terhadap nilai perusahaan dan pengaruhnya diperkuat ukuran bank sebagai pemoderasi. Sedangkan pengaruh Komisaris Independen dan Kepemilikan Manajerial tidak terbukti. Hasil penelitian ini mendukung bahwa pengungkapan ERM menjadi faktor penting dalam meningkatkan nilai perusahaan baik bagi investor maupun stakeholder perusahaan, terlebih pada perusahaan dengan ukuran besar. Abstract

Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR) published by Basel III as a new standard of bank liquidity risk management. In Indonesia, the Financial Services Authority (OJK) issued the OJK Regulation No. 50/POJK. 03/2017 concerning the obligation to fulfill the NSFR for commercial banks. The research objective is to test the influence of bank market power of assets, loans, and third-party funds toward bank's liquidity risk that measured by NSFR. The research uses a data panel from 37 commercial banks in Indonesia in the period 2018Q1-2019Q4. The hypotheses are examined by using linear regression methods with a random effect model. The result shows that the effect of market power on the risk of bank liquidity is proved. Market power will increase the NSFR, which means the higher the market power, the better management of liquidity risk. This research is expected to contribute theoretically to provide the latest literature on the application of Basel III through the NSFR approach, a current measurement for bank liquidity risk. Furthermore, this research is expected to contribute practically to banks and regulators in the formulation of policies related to market control and bank liquidity risk management. Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of good corporate governance (GCG) on financial performance through earnings management mediation. The study was conducted on 19 State-Owned Enterprises listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2019 period which were selected using the purposive sampling method. Testing the data using Partial Least Square (PLS), the results showed that GCG had no effect on financial performance, but GCG had a negative effect on earnings management. Furthermore, earnings management had no effect on financial performance. Finally, GCG was not found to have an effect on financial performance through earnings management. Keywords: good corporate governance; financial performance; earnings management ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh tata kelola perusahaan (Good Corporate Governance/GCG) terhadap kinerja keuangan melalui mediasi manajemen laba. Penelitian dilakukan pada 19 Badan Usaha Milik Negara yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2015-2019 yang dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling. Pengujian data menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa GCG tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan, namun GCG berpengaruh negatif terhadap manajemen laba. Selanjutnya, manajemen laba tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan. Terakhir, GCG tidak ditemukan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan melalui manajemen laba.
