Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan penerapan keterampilan bertanya guru dalam meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran sosiologi di kelas XI IPS SMA Santun Untan Pontianak. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis penerapan keterampilan bertanya guru, aktivitas siswa, dan upaya guru dalam meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Santun Untan Pontianak. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan bertanya guru merupakan aktivitas yang paling sering dan paling penting dalam melakukan proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara bahwa pelaksanakan pembelajaran sosiologi dapat dikatakan meningkat, siswa cenderung cukup aktif bertanya kepada guru dan cara guru menggunakan teknik keterampilan bertanya sudah baik. Karena dalam setiap tahap pembelajaran guru dituntut untuk mengajukan pertanyaan, dan kualitas pertanyaan yang diajukan guru akan menentukan kualitas jawaban siswa.   Kata Kunci : Keterampilan bertanya guru, aktivitas belajar siswa.   Abstract : This research is described about applicant skill how to ask teacher to improve the student activity in sociology subject at Santun Untan Pontianak senior high school. This research had aims to analyze applicant skill how to ask teacher, student activity & the teacher effort to improve the student activity at Santun Untan Pontianak senior high school. The method is kualitatif describe with collecting data technique that is observation, interview and documentation. The research result is the skill how to ask teacher was the activity that almost & most important when did the study method. According to observation & interview result that the implementation of learning sociology is improve, students tend to be quite active to ask the teacher and how teachers use the questioning skills techniques already good. Because in every stage of learning teachers are required to ask questions, and the quality of the questions asked by the teachers will determine the quality of the students' answers. Keywords: Teachers questioning skills, student activity.

Abstract

                                   AbstractThe title of the research was "Parenting Single Parenting (Case Study in DesaTeluk Kapuas Kecamatan Sungai Raya KabupatenKubu Raya)". The research method used was a qualitative research method with descriptive research type. The data source of this research was a single parent who is in the village of Teluk Kapuas. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation, data collection tools were observation guides, interview guides and documentation tools. The analysis in this study was presented in a descriptive qualitative manner, using 8 informants namely, 3 single parents and 5 children from the single parent. The results of his research that (1) Parenting applied by single parents is more dominant with democratic parenting patterns. Itwas proven by parents encouraging children to be open as expressed their opinions, there was good cooperation between parents and children in carrying out activities, there was guidance and direction from parents about good and bad deeds, as well as controls or supervision conducted by parents who were not rigid to children. (2) The impact of parenting that was applied by a single parent gives a positive impact; the child is more confident because it was given support by his parents, cares about the environment inside and outside the home and makes his parents a role model for him.Keywords: Parenting, Single Parents

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of learning activities on student learning outcomes in learning sociology class XI IPS at MAN 2 Pontianak. The method used is descriptive quantitative research. The data source of this study was students of class XI IPS and the data were in the form of answer sheets for student questionnaires and midterm test scores. The results of research on learning activities are based on respondents' questionnaire answers, namely by percentage of visual activities (48%), oral activities (51%), listening activities (48%), writing activities (38%), drawing activities (40%), motor activities ( 38%), mental activities (34%), emotional activities (38%). The learning results obtained are known from 88 students, there are 61 students who are in the high category, which means reaching the value of KKM for sociology subjects, 27 students in the medium category and no students in the low category. The effect of learning activities on learning outcomes based on the value of t count 2,302> t value table 1,987 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It can be concluded that there is a significant effect between learning activities on the learning outcomes of XI IPS class students at Man 2 Pontianak. With the percentage contribution of learning activities to learning outcomes by 0.06% while the rest is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. Keywords: Influence, Learning Activities, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the media and the use of sociological learning media in the class XI IIS SMA N 2 Mempawah Hulu. This study used is qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation studies; The analysis in this study was presented in a qualitative descriptive manner user informants as much as five people consisting of a teacher of sociology learning and student of class XI IIS. Learning media is a form of physical in a planned manner to convey information and build interaction. The media used are a visual display, visual print, and visual images. Stage in the use of learning media namely the preparation and planning, the implementation, and the flow-up stage. In the learning process of material learning delivered by the teacher are encoding and student decoding. In the use of learning media, there are obstacles (barriers or noises). Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research was to know the effect of application Discovery Learning to the student’s results study on science subject in class XI IIS SMA Islam Bawari Pontianak. The researcher used quantitative method which descriptive statistic. The sample of this research was 49 students with proportional random sampling. In collecting the data, the researcher used questionnaire for the application of Discovery learning method and the score of student’s daily exam for the student’s results study. The statistical test used in this study was with a simple linear regression analysis. This research shows that the application of Discovery Learning in class XI IIS SMA Islam Bawari Pontianak had the average height of 59.55 whereas the result of studying on sociology subjects was 66.76. The results show that the students were failed. The application of discovery learning shows that there was not significant to the student’s results study and the score was 2.8%. It was means the used of learning model was not gave effect to the student’s results study on sociology subject. It was thought that the effect was from other variables were left unstudied.Keywords: Discovery learning, Learning model, results of study

Abstract

Abstract The goal of this study is to know the social conflict that occurs between citizen and the officers of waste management landfills (TPA) on Jl. Kebangkitan Sosial, North Pontianak. Furthermore, this study use a qualitative approach with descriptive methodology. The data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data are analysed and presented in the form of descriptive qualitative data. There are 4 informants, consisting of two citizen from different neighbourhood (RT) and two officers from the waste landfill management institution. The results of this study indicate that 1) the cause of this conflict is the rapid social change in the community, additionally the less effective in controlling leachate caused the waste to overflow and pollute the citizens' water sources during the rainy season; 2) the impact of the conflict is the management of waste landfill began to improve their work system and fix the special canal that accommodate leachate waste; and 3) the efforts to overcome conflicts that occur between the citizen and the officers of waste management institutions on Jl. Kebangkitan Nasional is using mediation, where the problems are discussed and try to find the solutions together. Key words: Social conflik, Waste, Contamination

Abstract

This study aims to determine the teacher's role in the learning process for third-grade students at MI Syuhada Nanga Jajang, Pengkadan District, Kapuas Hulu Regency. The method used is a qualitative method with descriptive analysis. This study's data sources were teachers and students of class III MI Syuhada. The data were the observations and interviews with teachers and students of class III MI Syuhada. The results showed that the teacher's role as an educator had been carried out well. It has been proven that it has been found that the teacher provides an example and the teacher guides students during observations and in the results of interviews with teachers and third-grade students of MI Syuhada. The teacher's role as a motivator has been proven to be good, and it has been found that the teacher is a motivator and motivator at the time of observation which is supported by the results of interviews with teachers and third-grade students of MI Syuhada. The teacher's role as a facilitator has been carried out well. It has been proven that it has been found that the teacher provides learning methods and media during observation, and is supported by the results of interviews with the teacher and third-grade students of MI Syuhada.

Abstract

The current research aims to determine the effect of learning motivation as well as economics learning on the social science learning outcomes for high school students in Indonesia. The quantitative explanatory design was applied to the seventy-three social science students at SMAN 1 Kubu, West Kalimantan, Indonesia. Samples were eleventh graders that was chosen purposively. Data was collected through questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Multilinear regression analysis was applied to analyze the relationships between variables. The findings revealed that there exist a simultaneously effect of both motivation and economic learning toward social science learning outcomes (Ftable3.12 and Fcalc=29.82).
