Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of organizational culture, job rotation, and work motivation simultaneously on employee performance at the Lubuk Pakam Pratama Tax Services Office. The research was conducted at the Lubuk Pakam Pratama Tax Services Office on Jalan P Diponegoro Number 30-A, Medan, with a population of 122 individuals and a research sample of 55 individuals. Data collection was carried out through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis method used was multiple regression analysis using the IBM SPSS Statistics software version 25. The findings of the analysis reveal that the performance of employees at the Lubuk Pakam Pratama Tax Services Office is positively influenced by organizational culture, as evidenced by the results of the t-table analysis (3.603 > 2.008) at n = 55 and a 95% significance level. Job rotation does not significantly affect the performance of Lubuk Pakam Pratama Tax Services Office employees, supported by the t-value < t-table analysis (0.444 < 2.008) at n = 55 at a 95% significance level. On the other hand, work motivation has a significant impact on the performance of employees at the Lubuk Pakam Pratama Tax Services Office, as supported by the t-value > t-table (3.613 > 2.008) at n = 55 with a 95% significance level. The calculated F-value > F-table (21.926 > 2.79) indicates that collectively, there is a positive and significant influence of organizational culture, job rotation, and work motivation on the performance of Lubuk Pakam Pratama Tax Services Office employees.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate how the work environment, work experience, and work discipline of Tanjungbalai City Education Service employees impact performance. The exploration strategy utilized was a study by dispersing polls to representatives of the Tanjungbalai City Instruction Office. The employees of the Education Department were chosen at random to be included in the research sample. An information examination was completed utilizing relapse procedures to evaluate the connection between free factors (workplace, work insight and work discipline) and the dependent variable (representative execution). The consequences of the examination show that the workplace decidedly affects the presentation of Tanjungbalai City Training Division representatives. Work experience likewise makes a positive commitment to further developing representative execution. Work discipline was likewise found to significantly affect representative execution. In general, these three free factors affect the presentation of Tanjungbalai City Schooling Office representatives. The consequences of this examination can add to the administration of the Training Division in further developing representative execution by focusing harder on and upgrading the workplace, giving decent work insight, and further developing representative work discipline. The ramifications of this examination can likewise be a reason for further developing HR strategies and practices in comparable organizations.

Abstract

Present study aims to investigate the impact of ecological factors; GDP growth rate (GGR), degree of openness (DOO), exchange rate (EXR) and balance of payment (BOP) on foreign direct investment (FDI). Study also examines the effect of FDI on the performance of nationwide supply chain (NSCP). Moreover, study examines mediating role of FDI on the relationship between GGR, DOO, EXR and BOP. For this purpose, study utilized the data of 123 ecologists of Thailand through an online questionnaire. Study applies structural equational modeling (SEM) for examining the empirical results. Study tests the reliability and validity of the data with the help of measurement model while structural model is used for testing the hypothesis. Results of the study show positive impact of DOO, GRR, EXR and BOP on FDI. Results further show significant and positive relationship between FDI and NSCP. Findings reveal that FDI significantly mediates the relationship between GGR, DOO, BOP and NSCB. While the relationship between EXR and NSCB is not mediated by FDI. Study suggested that companies have to start different investment programs for attracting the foreigners so that they can invest their money in the company.

The purpose of this study was to determine, to know and to analyze the influence of leadership on work discipline at PT. Nusantara Plantation III (Persero) Medan. The approach used is an associative approach. The population in this study are all employees of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Medan. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques used the Classical Assumption Test, Multiple Regression, t-test and F-test, and the coefficient of determination. Data processing used the SPSS software program (version 24.00). Partially it is known that leadership and work culture have a positive and significant influence on work discipline performance. Simultaneously it is known that leadership and work culture have a significant positive influence on work discipline at PT. Nusantara Plantation III (Persero) Medan. Abstract

The growth of MSMEs continues to increase every year, but in 2022 it will experience a decline. North Sumatra is one of the provinces with the largest number of MSME developments in Indonesia. Barbershop growth continues to increase as a result of changes in people's lifestyles. The facilities and services offered greatly influence customer interest in the Barbershop. The aims of this research are (1) Carrying out a descriptive economic analysis of the UMKM production sector in Pematang Siantar (2) Carrying out an economic evaluation of the actors in the Barbershop UMKM sector in meeting family income in Pematang Siantar City. This research uses a qualitative approach. Technique sampling in this research that is with method snowball sampling use questionnaire Which given to 30 perpetrator MSME Barbershop in City Pematang Siantar. The data collection technique used in this research comes from websites official like Body Center Statistics (BPS), Ministry Trading, and distribution of questionnaires via Google Form . Data analysis techniques used in this research uses analysis factors with program Smart PLS 3.0. results study shows that Number of Customers and Facilities Factors influential and significant on business development for UMKM Barbershop operators in Pematang Siantar City to meet economic income.

Abstract

Purpose –  This study aims to test and analyze the effect of role ambiguity and work stress on employee performance directly and indirectly through organizational citizenship behaviour in hospitality companies in Medan.Method – This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire to measure the research variables objectively. The research population is all permanent employees of the hospitality industry in Medan city, have a tenure of more than one year, and must work in an environment with a hierarchical structure that supports the measurement of role ambiguity. The study sample was taken from as many as 100-200 employees of the hospitality industry in Medan to meet one of the requirements of the data analysis method using SEM. The data analysis technique uses a quantitative approach using SEM_PLS.Findings –  The results of this study indicate that role ambiguity affects employee performance, work stress affects but is not significant to employee performance, role ambiguity, and organizational citizenship behaviour affect organizational citizenship behaviour, and there is a direct positive and significant effect between organizational citizenship behaviour on employee performance of hotel companies in Medan City. Indirectly, role ambiguity and work stress positively and significantly affect employee performance of hospitality companies in Medan.Originality/Novelty –  This study examines role ambiguity and work stress as more comprehensive predictors of employee performance and then explicitly explores the importance of organizational citizenship behaviour as a mediator in the relationship between role ambiguity and work stress and employee performance.Implications – This study has shown that organizational citizenship behaviour mediates the effect of role ambiguity and work stress on employee performance. Recommendations for further research include analyzing or using organizational citizenship behaviour variables as independent variables, not as mediating variables.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of employee competency, job placement, and career development on employee performance at the Medan Belawan Pratama Tax Service Office. The survey method is used to collect data from respondents who are tax officials. The results of multiple regression analysis show that employee competency, job placement, and career development have a significant influence on employee performance. These findings highlight the importance of competency development, appropriate placement, and career development programs in improving employee performance in government institutions. Managerial implications and recommendations for future research are also discussed.
