Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to implement the Linear Congruent Method (LCM) algorithm in the application of student self-learning in the INET Computer Course Institute. The LCM algorithm is used to generate random numbers required in learning features, such as practice questions and random tests. This study evaluates the effectiveness of the algorithm in improving the quality of self-learning through applications. The research method involves application development, and algorithm integration. The results of the study show that the implementation of the LCM Algorithm has succeeded in improving the variety and quality of the learning content presented. The app has proven to be efficient in providing random materials, which supports student interaction and improves their understanding of the material. This research contributes to the development of more effective and adaptive educational applications, as well as opens up opportunities for further research in the field of educational algorithms and technology.

Abstract

Transformasi digital dalam sektor pemerintahan menuntut optimalisasi desain antarmuka layanan digital publik. Website Badan Kesbangpol Kabupaten Ogan Ilir telah dikembangkan sebagai kanal informasi dan pelayanan daring, namun masih menghadapi tantangan dalam aspek usability. Kegiatan magang ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dan merancang ulang antarmuka website tersebut menggunakan metode Heuristic Evaluation berdasarkan prinsip Nielsen serta menerapkan prinsip desain UI/UX. Evaluasi dilakukan terhadap tujuh halaman utama, dan hasilnya menunjukkan pelanggaran pada hampir seluruh prinsip heuristik. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dilakukan perancangan ulang antarmuka menggunakan Figma dengan pendekatan clarity, consistency, dan minimalism. Hasil desain baru ditampilkan dalam bentuk dokumentasi visual sebagai solusi berbasis desain. Studi ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi terhadap peningkatan kualitas layanan publik digital serta menjadi contoh pendekatan evaluatif yang dapat diadaptasi oleh instansi lain.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan prototype sistem klaim asuransi berbasis web sebagai solusi inovatif dalam meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, dan transparansi proses klaim. Dengan teknologi berbasis web, sistem ini memungkinkan pengelolaan data secara real-time, mempercepat komunikasi antar unit terkait, serta meminimalkan kesalahan manusia (human error). Selain itu, sistem ini memberikan transparansi bagi rumah sakit dan pasien dalam memantau status klaim secara langsung, serta memudahkan audit internal untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan. Diharapkan, pengembangan prototype ini dapat membantu rumah sakit dalam mempercepat proses klaim, meningkatkan akurasi data, serta memperkuat hubungan dengan perusahaan asuransi sebagai mitra utama dalam pelayanan kesehatan.

Abstract

Di era globalisasi sekarang ini, sistem informasi merupakan faktor utama dalam suatu institusi seperti lembaga pendidikan, penerapan sistem informasi menjadi begitu penting untuk menunjang kegiatan kerja. Dengan adanya teknologi informasi mempermudah manusia dalam komunikasi dan pekerjaan. Namun demikian, sejauh ini belum ada penerapan sistem pengelolaan data alumni di SMP Negeri 4 Kayuagung. Sistem Informasi Alumni merupakan sistem informasi yang dibuat untuk membantu pekerjaan dari suatu instansi, baik dalam mengelola data sampai memberikan data secara lengkap. Saat ini data alumni yang ada pada SMP Negeri 4 Kayuagung mulai dari tahun 2015 sampai tahun 2022 berjumlah 2.004 orang siswa/i. Pengelolaan data alumni masih manual, pengklasifikasian data alumni belum rapi, pencarian data dan informasi membutuhkan waktu yang lama. Sehingga menyulitkan pihak sekolah untuk memantau data yang berkaitan dengan alumni. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan suatu sistem informasi tracer study yang memberi kemudahan dalam melakukan penulusuran terhadap alumni. Sistem informasi tracer study dibangun berbasis Websitedengan menggunakanmetode Web Engineering. Web Engineering terdapat 5 (lima) tahapan : customer communication, perancangan (planning), pemodelan (modelling), construction, dan deployment. Dengan adanya sistem informasi Tracer Study ini dapat memantau keberadaan alumni dan mempermudah dalam mendata alumni serta dapat menyajikan informasi secara efisien bagi alumni SMPNegeri 4 Kayuagung.

Abstract

Every new school year, the school always accepts new students. Based on the rules in effect at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang, grade X students are directed to choose an existing major. SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang has 2 majors, namely the science major and the social science major. Students are expected to be able to identify their interests, talents and abilities so that they do not make mistakes in choosing a major. The problem that occurs in the process of choosing a major is the difficulty in determining the student's major interests which results in a mismatch between the results of determining the major and the student's interests, talents and abilities. The choice of major in high school will affect whether they will continue to college or their future career. Many new students are still confused about choosing a major at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang. Therefore, a system is needed, and this decision-making system (DSS) is a software to solve this problem because this information system can present the best major selection for students who will register using the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) method. The methodology used in developing this system is Rapid Application Development (RAD), an incremental software development process, especially for short processing times. RAD is a software process model that emphasizes short development life cycles, and rapid adaptation using component construction.

Abstract

Android-based learning media is an essential tool in supporting the learning process, especially for elementary school students. One of the main problems in learning at this level is the lack of visualization during the delivery of learning materials, which often results in decreased interest and increased boredom among students. The use of “calistung” (reading, writing, and arithmetic) learning media can help make the learning process more engaging and interactive. This media is equipped with features such as images, text, audio, and animations that enhance students’ interest and facilitate a better understanding of the subject matter. In addition, it can reduce boredom during teaching and learning activities. The development of this Android-based calistung learning media utilizes the MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) approach, which has proven to be effective. This method allows students to continue learning without feeling bored until they fully understand the material. Overall, the implementation of Android-based calistung learning media provides significant benefits for elementary school students. It is expected to become an alternative learning option that makes the learning experience more interactive and enjoyable.

Abstract

The development of information technology encourages the need for efficient and mobile systems, especially in the small business sector such as playgrounds. This research aims to design and develop an Android-based Financial Information System at Krustyzone Playground to overcome the obstacles of manual recording, report delays, and lack of real-time data. The method used is Rapid Application Development (RAD), which allows a fast development process through design iterations and direct feedback from users. The system was developed using the CodeIgniter framework and MySQL database, and modeled with UML (Use Case Diagram, Activity Diagram, and Class Diagram). The implementation results show that the system is able to record income and expenses, display real-time financial reports, and manage users with different access rights. Tests through the Black Box Testing method prove that all functions run as expected. Validation by users shows the application is easy to use, efficient, and responsive. In conclusion, this system supports more accurate, secure, and structured financial management, as well as being an appropriate technology solution in assisting businesses in making decisions based on actual data.
