Abstract

The increase in cases of the HIV epidemic in Indonesia at the end of 2009 continued to increase, it is estimated that around 332.200 people are living with HIV. This figure has almost doubled from 2005 as many as 170.000 people living with HIV. Provision of extensive anti-retroviral therapy (ART) also result in mutations of the HIV virus that can lead to resistance. The purpose of this study was to determine the description and incidence of unwanted drug reactions in patients who were prescribed antiretroviral drugs and to assess the quality of life of patients who had received anti-retroviral drug prescriptions at the public health center. This type of research is a descriptive observational study, data collection was carried out retrospectively on patients who received herbal medicine at the public health center. The sampling technique in this study was quota sampling with a research instrument in the form of ROTD interview sheets taken from the Naranjo algorithm. The results showed that the use of antiretroviral drugs (ARVs) would cause unwanted drug reactions such as nausea, vomiting, dizziness (vertigo) which were categorized as possibilities and possibilities.

Abstract

This community service aims to enhance digital and community-based marketing. Based on the situational analysis of the partner, NU Care LAZISNU Surakarta, this initiative is highly relevant considering the challenges faced and the development stage of the partner organization. The community service method employed at NU Care LAZISNU Surakarta uses an ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development) approach, where the service team encourages the partner to understand and utilize their potential and strengths. Technical steps, such as outreach and mentoring, are carried out in the marketing aspect. The outreach materials cover the importance of marketing communication in the digital era and community-based marketing for zakat management institutions. The community service team also provides guidance in managing websites and Instagram as tools for digital and community-based marketing to establish communication and transparency with community partners.

Abstract

Butterfly pea flower is rich in anthocyanins, which not only provide a natural blue color but also offer health benefits. The purpose of this community service is to educate students about the benefits of butterfly pea flower as a natural dye. The activity began with an introduction to butterfly pea flower and anthocyanins, followed by practical application of using butterfly pea flower as a natural dye in making pudding. This activity successfully increased students' knowledge about the use of natural dyes from butterfly pea flower by 100%. When applied to pudding, butterfly pea flower, which contains anthocyanins, proved to be usable as a natural dye. In addition, this activity also educated students about the diversity of local food ingredients that can be optimally utilized.
