Abstract

This study aimed to find out how much the risk and how is mitigation strategy of murabahah financing risk in BMT XYZ Surabaya. This study used qualitative research. Financing risk measuring use Value at Risk (VaR) approach and use historical data of murabahah financing period in 2012.The result shows that expected loss period in December reached Rp5.888.790,00. Unexpected Loss such as VaR at confidence lavel 99%period in December reached Rp179.147.340,00. Capital that should be provided to anticipate unexpected loss called by Economic Capital. Economic Capital period in December 2012 based on VaR confidence level 99% reached Rp173.258.550,00.Mitigation strategy of murabahah financing risk in BMT XYZ Surabaya classified into two kinds, they are proactive risk strategy and reactive risk strategy. Proactive risk strategy performed by analyzing the character, financial capability, and collateral of prospective customer. Reactive risk strategy performed by silaturahim approach, rescheduling andrestructuring, and last withdrawal guarantees.This research suggests that there are several actions to mitigate credit risk that need to be added BMT XYZ Surabaya such as: 1. Implementation measurement financing risk using VaR approach, 2. Analyze capital and condition of prospective borrower, and 3. Implementation reconditioning to recovery financing problems.

Abstract

Background: Besarnya penerimaan Organisasi Pengelola Zakat (OPZ) di tahun 2019 mencapai 10,227 triliun, data ini menjadi bukti bahwa sudah ada upaya untuk menggerakkan umat Islam memenuhi kewajiban agama dan sosialnya. Kinerja para amil adalah salah satu faktor penting berhasil atau tidaknya suatu Lembaga Amil Zakat Infaq Dan Sodaqoh (LAZIS) bagian dari OPZ dalam mencapai target penerimaan yang telah ditetapkan. Efektif tidaknya kinerja amil tergantung bagaimana kemampuan pemimpinnya dalam mengkoordinasi, memotivasi dan memahami para anggotanya. Pendekatan kepemimpinan transformasional dapat menjadi pilihan tepat bagi kepemimpinan di Lembaga Amil Zakat Infaq Dan Sodaqoh (LAZIS), karena gaya kepemimpinan ini memiliki 4 karakter penting yaitu idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, dan individualized consideration. Metode: Penelitian ini mengggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi berganda. Analisa data terdiri dari Uji Validitas dan Reliabilitas, Uji Asumsi Klasik, Uji Normalitas, Uji Multikolinieritas, Uji Heteroskidastisitas, hal ini bertujuan agar hasil regresi tidak bias. Hasil: dari hasil pengujian dan pembahasan terdapat empat temuan utama yang dapat dikemukakan sebagai kesimpulan dari penelitian ini, yaitu: 1. Idealized influence (x1) berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja individu karyawan di lazis solo peduli 2. Inspirational motivation (x2) berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja individu karyawan di lazis solo peduli 3. Intellectual stimulation (x3) berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja individu karyawan di lazis solo peduli 4. Individualized consideration (x4) berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja individu karyawan di lazis solo peduli Kata kunci: Kepemimpinan; Transformasional; Kinerja; Amil; LAZIS

Abstract

Inflation has always been being seen as one of the most important macroeconomic variables in modern economies. Every year, media especially in Muslim countries has constantly reported that inflation rates increase during the Islamic holy month of Ramadhan and Eid Ul Fitr. Remarkably, there has been hitherto almost no serious study focusing on the empirical relationship between Ramadhan, Eid Ul Fitr and inflation. This research aims to examine empirically whether Ramadhan and Eid Ul Fitr have a systematic effect on inflation. This research uses regression analysis technique and involves data from 66 local economies in Indonesia between January 2000 and December 2017. The finding of this paper is Ramadhan and Eid Ul Fitr have a positive effect on inflation. The possible reasons for explaining the results is the high of public demand. To overcome inflation in Indonesia not only from the role of government in controlling inflation rate, but also the role of Muslims community in controlling consumption.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the roles of entrepreneurship on human development in Islamic countries. In order to achieve the study objective, the econometric strategy has been used. The analysis technique is done using Fixed Effect (FE) and Random Effect (RE) estimation from the data panels of the OIC countries in the period 2006-2020. The estimation results show that entrepreneurship and access to finance have positive impact on human development. This study uses samples based on data availability. Therefore, further research is expected to be able to find other proxies from entrepreneurship with more data. In addition, research on entrepreneurship should be classified based on the level of economic development, because there are indicated differences in entrepreneurial characteristics at each level of economic development.

Abstract

This community service aims to enhance digital and community-based marketing. Based on the situational analysis of the partner, NU Care LAZISNU Surakarta, this initiative is highly relevant considering the challenges faced and the development stage of the partner organization. The community service method employed at NU Care LAZISNU Surakarta uses an ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development) approach, where the service team encourages the partner to understand and utilize their potential and strengths. Technical steps, such as outreach and mentoring, are carried out in the marketing aspect. The outreach materials cover the importance of marketing communication in the digital era and community-based marketing for zakat management institutions. The community service team also provides guidance in managing websites and Instagram as tools for digital and community-based marketing to establish communication and transparency with community partners.
