Abstract

AbstractTo achieve the quality of school one of them is determined by the leadership quality of the principal. The results of the last three years of SDN 4 Sungai Nilam Kecamatan Jawai Kabupaten Sambas decreased. Researchers assume that need to improve the leadership of school principals in improving the quality of schools in SDN 4 Nilam River District Jawai Sambas District. It is expected that this increase can improve the service and quality of education at SDN 4 Sungai Nilam Kecamatan Jawai Kabupaten Sambas. The focus of this research is the principal's leadership in improving the quality of school in SDN 4 Sungai Nilam Kecamatan Jawai Kabupaten Sambas, with research questions directed at: How styles, functions, factors affecting principal leadership and quality of education reality at SDN 4 Sungai Nilam Kecamatan Jawai Kabupaten Sambas? To express the question, the researcher uses qualitative research method of case study research type. To extract data and information from informants, researchers used observation techniques, interviews, and document studies. The results revealed that; style leadership of the principal in improving the quality of education in SDN 4 Sungai Nilam Kecamatan Jawai Kabupaten Sambas is a delegating style but more tendency to the style of permissive leadership. The leadership function that is applied is not in line with the concept of leadership function that experts find. Supporting factors in the form of qualifications possessed by teachers who are in accordance with the required provisions, inhibiting factors of insufficient facilities and infrastructure, the age of teachers who averaged retirement and lack of teachers. Reality quality in SDN 4 Nilam River District Jawai Sambas district, among others, the quality of raw input is low, the input quality is not complete and ineffective, and the quality of the environment is less harmonious.Keywords: Leadership, Principal, School Quality

Abstract

Management stakeholders include the Lore lindu National Park Center, Sedoa village communities around Lore lindu National Park, and the management of a tambing lake, Forest Police (Polhut), Farmer groups (Gapoktan), Village Government, Customary leaders and local NGOs (walhi) . Stakeholders' interests in the management of the National Park consist of interests to preserve the area, and interests to benefit from the existence of the National Park such as the utilization of Tambing Lake tourism. While the presence of these stakeholders can have a positive and negative influence on the preservation of the Lore lindu National Park area. Stakeholders who can be involved in resolving issues related to the desire to expand plantations in the Lore lindu National Park consist of the Balai Besar Lore lindu National Park, Sedoa villagers around the Lore lindu National Park, and the management of the tambing lake, Forest Police (Polhut), Farmer groups (Gapoktan), village government, traditional leaders and local NGOs (walhi). While the roles that can be done to overcome this problem can be in the form of control functions, physical assistance (plant seedlings), technical assistance (land management techniques, counseling, training and assistance), as well as support for the management of Lore lindu National Park management.      Keywords: Stakeholder Mapping In Managing TNLL, Sedoa Village

Abstract

Indonesia holds significant potential for sea cucumber aquaculture due to its abundant natural resources. This study aims to map suitable sites for sea cucumber farming around Saugi Island by analyzing physical and chemical water parameters using Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Data were collected from 10 sampling stations through field surveys and analyzed using the weighted overlay method in ArcGIS 10.8. Parameters evaluated included temperature, salinity, pH, dissolved oxygen, water clarity, and depth. Results indicate that the northern, southwestern, and eastern parts of Saugi Island are highly suitable for sea cucumber farming, while the northwestern, northeastern, and parts of the southeastern areas are less suitable. These findings provide a valuable reference for sustainable sea cucumber farming and can support local economic development.

Abstract

Literasi merupakan merupakan suatu kegiatan seseorang untuk mengetahui sesuatu dengan cakupan makna yang luas. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan minat membaca peserta didik melalui program literasi ceria di SD Negeri 116 Percontohan Panyabungan. Adapun metode yang dilakukan mencakup beberapa tahapan diantaranya tahap observasi, tahap orientasi, tahap implentasi dan tahap evaluasi. Program ini dilaksanakan setiap jam istirahat mata pelajaran yang berlokasikan di perpustakaan sekolah. Program literasi ceria yang dirancang mendapatkan respon yang positif baik dari kalangan peserta didik maupun kalangan pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan. Melalui program ini juga potensi-potensi peserta semakin menonjol dengan adanya pendampingan yang dilakukan. Dengan program ini juga minat peserta didik semakin meningkatkan dilihat dari apresiasi peserta didik yang senantiasa aktif untuk mensukseskan program tersebut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: apakah pelaksanaan pembelajaran PAI pada materi Al-Qur’an Surah At Tin melalui penerapan pembelajaran kooperatiftipe TGT meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research) yang dilakukan terhadap peserta didik kelas IXB SMP Negeri 2 Sirenja. Terdiri dari 2 siklus yang setiap siklusnya meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IXB SMP Negeri 2 Sirenja yang terdiri dari 26 peserta didik. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah dokumentasi, hasil tes tertulis dan hasil observasi. Adapun tolak ukur keberhasilan dari penelitian ini adalah apa bila hasil belajar peserta didik mampu mencapai nilai rata-rata ≥75 dan banyaknya peserta didik yang memperoleh nilai ≥75 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 85%. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah sebagai berikut: hasil belajar pada pra siklus mencapai nilai rata-rata 72,23 meningkat menjadi 80,46 pada siklus I dan meningkat lagi menjadi 84,73 pada siklus II. Selain itu, ketuntasan belajar klasikal juga mengalami peningkatan dari pra siklus yang semula ketuntasan belajar klasikal 54 % meningkat menjadi 69,23% pada siklus I dan akhirnya 92 % pada siklus II. Selain itu, terjadi peningkatan juga terhadap aktivitas pembelajaran. Hasilnya diperoleh dengan rata-rata prosentase yang semula hanya 53% pada pra siklus, meningkat menjadi 70% pada siklus1 dan meningkat lagi menjadi 88% pada siklus 2 dengan criteria sangat baik. Dari hasil penelitian sudah memenuhi indikator keberhasilan yang diharapkan, maka proses penelitian dihentikan pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka dapat diajukan saran bahwa strategi pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dapat digunakan sebagai alternative untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik, khususnya pada kemampuan kognitif dalam memecahkan masalah, keaktifan dan kerjasama dalam kelompok.

Abstract

This study employs a case study design with a qualitative descriptive approach that aimed to shed light on; (1) the teachers’ perception on Quizizz in teaching reading, (2) the implementation of Quizizz in teaching reading and, (3) the impacts of Quizizz on students’ reading comprehension. The participants of this research were three teachers selected through purposive sampling. The instruments used were observation, interview and teachers’ documents. The findings of this research revealed that; (1) stemming on teachers’ interview, teachers’ perception on Quizizz in teaching reading was classified into two categories namely highly and moderately perceived on Quizizz in teaching reading. Furthermore, (2) the implementation of Quizizz in teaching reading was classified into two categories namely moderately implemented and lowly implemented in utilizing Quizizz in teaching reading. Finally, (3) the findings had shown that Quizizz had positive impacts on students’ reading comprehension in literal level, inferential level, critical level and creative level. The findings of this study underline the potential of digital applications like Quizizz in revolutionizing the pedagogical approach in Indonesian EFL classrooms, particularly in the teaching of reading skills.
