Abstract

Penelitian ini betujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidak perbandingan antara hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII C dan VIII E SMPN 08 Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dan kmparatif dengan uji perbandingan menggunakan teknik Mann-Whitney U. Berdasarkan hasil dapat diketahui bahwa hasil belajar siswa  tersebut memiliki nilai Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,039. Jadi, data hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII C dan VIII E mengenai konsep IPA Terpadu SMP pada materi Tata Surya .di SMP N 08 Kota Jambi dapat dikatakan ?ada perbedaan?.  Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa adanya perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara kelas VIII  C dan VIII E SMP N 08 Kota Jambi tentang konsep IPA Terpadu  pada materi Tata Surya. Adapun yang tergolong kelas terbaik adalah kelas VIII E, karena nilai Mean dan Standar Deviasi lebih besar dari kelas VIII C.

Abstract

The purpose of the research to identification attitudes of students SMAN 08 Batanghari of Physics on two indicators, that is the adoption of scientific attitudes and career interests in Physics. The sample used was 150 students. This type of research is quantitative with survey methods. The instrument used was an attitude questionnaire. Data analysis in this study uses descriptive statistics. The results obtained showed that the Adoption Indicator of scientific attitudes had the highest percentage of 69.3% with a good category and indicators of career interests in Physics had the highest percentage of 55.3% with a quite good category.

Abstract

The learning model is one of the strategic approaches that must be carried out by the teacher systematically and procedurally in organizing learning activities to achieve optimal learning goals. The learning model is very important in the learning process. This research was conducted at Muaro Jambi 8 Public High School on Grade X IPA 1 students which aimed to determine student responses when given an Inquiry Learning model during the physics learning process. The instrument used was a student questionnaire with a sample of 21 students. This research uses a mixed-method with a sequential explanatory design. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistics to get the average value, mode, median, minimum, maximum. Based on the results of the study found that the level of student response to the learning model is quite good categorized with a percentage of 47,6%.
