Abstract

Moral degradation in the educational environment is the background of this study. One of the causes of moral degradation is education that prioritizes cognitive aspects rather than affective aspects. Character education is one of the efforts to improve student behavior. The application of character education has been optimally implemented at SD Negeri 3 Panggungrejo Kepanjen in the hope of improving student behavior. This study aims to determine how character education improves the behavior of grade IV students at SD Negeri 3 Panggungrejo Kepanjen. This study is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects in this study were grade IV teachers and grade IV students at SD Negeri 3 Panggungrejo Kepanjen and the objects in this study were the application of character education in grade IV of SD Negeri 3 Panggungrejo Kepanjen and Student Behavior. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. For this reason, the instruments created were in the form of interview guidelines for teachers and students, observation guidelines for teachers and students, and documentation analysis guidelines. Furthermore, the findings of the research data were analyzed through a series of qualitative analysis. The results of the study show that character education can help improve student behavior. Character education improves student behavior through habituation and role models carried out by teachers to students.

Abstract

Banyaknya permasalahan pribadi dalam diri anak didik yang dibawa ke sekolah, seperti masalah-masalah keluarga serta masalah sosial masyarakat di lingkungan sekitar peserta didik, yang dapat mengakibatkan kesulitan atau hambatan dalam pembelajaran. Namun permasalahan-permasalahan yang dialami atau di bawa oleh siswa ini, tidak mendapatkan penanganan dengan tepat, sehingga perilaku negatif atau permasalahan yang masih tertinggal terus dibawa oleh siswa dan dapat menghambat proses belajar siswa. Hal inilah yang melandasi pentingnya penerapan manajemen strategi berbasis creative problem solving (CPS) untuk dapat meningkatkan peran guru kelas dalam penanganan permasalahan siswa sekolah dasar dengan tepat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Pemilihan subjek penelitian, digunakan teknik purposive sampling. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui metode observasi dan wawancara. Inovasi penanganan masalah supaya sistematis, efektif, efisien dan berkesinambungan dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan creative problem solving. Ada 6 tahapan yang dilakukan dalam penangan masalah dengan menggunakan Creative Problem Solving, yaitu: Objective/Mess Finding, Fact Finding, Problem Finding, Idea Finding, Solution Finding dan Acceptance Finding.

Abstract

Developing textbooks is an important part of the education system which aims to support and facilitate the learning process. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) development which aims to develop teaching materials in the form of Entrepreneurship textbooks used in Collaborative Online Learning lectures. The textbooks that have been developed are then tested in learning. The development research procedure uses a 4D model. There are 4 steps in the 4D model, namely, the Define stage, the Design stage, the Development stage and the Dessiminate stage. The use of entrepreneurship teaching materials for students is appropriate, because in terms of format, material content and language it is rated as suitable for use as teaching materials for students in the learning process.

Abstract

This research aims to develop e-modules based on Project-Based Learning (PjBL) on spatial geometry material for junior high school students to increase learning interest. The e-module development was carried out using the ADDIE model which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This research was piloted at MTS Al Huda Putri Malang with 20 research subjects of eighth grade junior high school students. The validity of the e-module was tested through assessments by material experts and media experts, while the effectiveness of the product was evaluated based on the increase in students' learning interest before and after using the e-module. The data collection technique used an expert validation sheet and a Likert-scale-based student learning interest questionnaire. The data analysis technique was carried out descriptively quantitatively by calculating the percentage of e-module feasibility and comparing the average score of students' learning interest at the pre- and post-implementation stages. The results showed that the project-based e-module was declared valid with a validation score of 84.44% from material experts and 90% from media experts, and was suitable for use without major revisions. The effectiveness of the e-module was shown by an increase in students' learning interest from the "sufficient" to "very high" category with an average increase of 21.5%. Thus, the developed interactive project-based e-module is effective in stimulating student involvement and increasing learning interest in spatial geometry material at the junior high school level.
