Abstract

This research presents a comprehensive analysis of various imputation methods for addressing missing microclimate data in the context of coffee-pine agroforestry land in UB Forest. Utilizing Big data and Machine learning methods, the research evaluates the effectiveness of imputation missing microclimate data with Interpolation, Shifted Interpolation, K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), and Linear Regression methods across multiple time frames - 6 hours, daily, weekly, and monthly. The performance of these methods is meticulously assessed using four key evaluation metrics Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Mean Squared Error (MSE), Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE), and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). The results indicate that Linear Regression consistently outperforms other methods across all time frames, demonstrating the lowest error rates in terms of MAE, MSE, RMSE, and MAPE. This finding underscores the robustness and precision of Linear Regression in handling the variability inherent in microclimate data within agroforestry systems. The research highlights the critical role of accurate data imputation in agroforestry research and points towards the potential of machine learning techniques in advancing environmental data analysis. The insights gained from this research contribute significantly to the field of environmental science, offering a reliable methodological approach for enhancing the accuracy of microclimate models in agroforestry, thereby facilitating informed decision-making for sustainable ecosystem management.

Abstract

Abstract

Sustainable development using smart village concept is important in managing villages. Cisantana Village has abundant potential in terms of agriculture, livestock, micro, small and medium enterprises, nature tourism, and local culture. Therefore, application of digitalization in managing this potential is necessary. This study aims to examine several aspects, including sustainable development of smart villages, implementation challenges, and innovative solutions in accordance with the social, economic, and environmental conditions of the village. This study uses descriptive qualitative method with two informants and employs Miles & Huberman data analysis model and data collection tools in form of journals, books, and government websites. The results of research show that collaboration with students from Gadjah Mada University's Real Work Lecture program in 2023, who designed a village toll gate project, a patulungan tourist market, and a mini soccer field, is a solution for Cisantana Village in realizing a smart village. However, implementation of a smart village in Cisantana Village is limited due to lack of adequate human resources. Therefore, success rate of sustainable village development is determined by integration of concepts, environmental adaptation, collaborative governance, and the preservation of village's noble values. This study expands theory of sustainable development through regulation and local wisdom.

Abstract

Due to its rich natural resources, Kramatmulya District is home to a wide variety of food and local specialty products. This abundance has led to approximately 2,003 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) conducting trade to support their livelihoods and supply the community's food needs. Despite this, these MSMEs have encountered difficulties, such as a shortage of skilled labor, antiquated production infrastructure, outdated marketing approaches, and a 30% decline in revenue during the COVID-19 pandemic. This "healthy market" initiative aims to enhance these MSMEs and strengthen the village economy, contributing to Kuningan Regency's broader vision and mission, including the realization of the "Pinunjul Village." The study utilized a qualitative descriptive approach, with informants chosen via purposive sampling. Guidelines from Ministry of Health Decree No. 519 govern the execution of this healthy market project. Successful development and training of the healthy market will facilitate the achievement of Kuningan Regency's vision and mission. Key Words: development of village healthy markets; digital marketing; micro small and medium enterprises; village development
