Abstract

The term industrial revolution 4.0 is a term that emerged and was popularized lately when the world community entered the new millennium era of civilization history. Many actually do not understand what the industrial revolution 4.0 is and why they put the number 4.0 behind it. Industry 4.0 is the name of the trend of industrial automation systems, where there is an exchange of the latest data in factory technology. Industrial revolution 4.0 is often also called the fourth generation industrial revolution, which was marked by the emergence of super computers, smart robots, crewless vehicles, genetic editing and the development of neurotechnology that enables humans to optimize brain function. Big data answers the challenges of revolution four. With big data collection techniques, data storage and management continues to be developed in accordance with the development of the industrial revolution 4.0.

Abstract

To determine the dropout of the study (droup out) University of Sumatera Utara graduate school students, the author tries to help determine the dropout of the study by using an algorithm in data mining, the C.4.5 algorithm. Data of University of Sumatera Utara graduate school students are processed in tabular form so that a decision tree can be obtained to be explored and then developed again. After the decision tree is obtained, data analysis is done using SPSS (Statistical Product and Service) software and RapidMine software is used to display the decision results. The results obtained are obtained a rule model that can show the relationship rules of existing variables, determine the variables that influence the determination of study dropouts at the University of Sumatera Utara graduate students and be able to predict study dropouts at the University of Sumatera Utara Postgraduate Studies ie the study drop out prediction if the GPA <3 and duration of Study> 8 and Study Load <36 SKS.

Abstract

Di era pandemi coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) menjaga jarak fisik satu sama lain (physical distancing) dan tetap berada didalam rumah (stay at home) adalah cara untuk mencoba membatasi penyebaran COVID-19. Di seluruh dunia jutaan orang telah meninggalkan kantor menyusul instruksi pemerintah agar karyawan bekerja dari rumah. Hal ini dikarenakan orang- orang yang menghabiskan keseharian mereka dikantor dimana ruang bersama dan interaksi tinggi dapat menyebarkan virus apapun yang mereka miliki termasuk virus COVID-19 (jika ditemukan orang positip COVID-19) kepada kolega mereka. Bekerja dari rumah (work from home) adalah suatu pilihan di era pandemi COVID-19. Work from home telah mengubah sistem kerja yaitu melakukan pelayanan kepada public melalui daring (online). Sistem daring (online) dilakukan untuk mengimplementasikan protocol pencegahan COVID-19 yang dikeluarkan oleh pemerintah. Pengunaan google meet merupakan salah satu fitur dari google yang bisa dimanfaatkan untuk work from home saat social distancing untuk mencegah penyebaran virus COVID-19. Google meet memungkinkan pengguna untuk melakukan panggilan video dengan 30 pengguna lainnya per pertemuan. Dengan kata lain, google meet bisa menjadi media alternatif untuk proses belajar mengajar, bersosialisasi dengan rekan kantor atau bahkan melakukan rapat kerja dari dalam rumah (work from home).

Abstract

Dimasa pandemi COVID 19 seperti saat ini dimana work from home (WFH) menjadi pilihan yang tepat dan juga sangat disarankan oleh pemerintah. WFH disarankan kepada masyarakat mengingat pandemik COVID 19 yang masih terus berlangsung. Diharapkan dengan WFH dapat mengurangi kegiatan bekerja berkumpul bersama. Disektor pendidikan sekolah- sekolah sudah membatasi kegiatan belajar secara Luring ( luar jaringan /tatap muka langsung). Bahkan banyak sekolah yang sudah tutup dan melakukan kegiatan belajar mengajarnya secara daring (dalam jaringan). Walaupun demikian, ada juga sekolah yang bergantian antara luring dengan daring dalam proses belajar mengajarnya. Dalam kegiatan belajar daring para guru dan siswa terkoneksi dengan menngunakan aplikasi. Salah satu aplikasi yang dapat digunakan adalah Google Classroom. Google Classroom adalah layanan gratis yang disediakan oleh Google. Di Google Classroom, guru dapat menugaskan siswanya mengerjaan pekerjaan rumah (PR) melalui penggunaan seluler perangkat iOS dan Android , dan siswa dapat mengirimkan kembali tugas-tugasnya kepada guru. Di Google Classroom kegiatan belajar mengajar tidak menggunakan kertas, semua terkoneksi dengan jaringan internet.

Abstract

Abstrak Di Indonesia peternak biasanya masih mengalami kegagalan penetasan di karenakan masih menggunakan metode penetasan tradisional. Alat penetas telur ini bekerja menggunakan panel surya. Sehingga panel surya sebagai salah satu sumber energi alternatif. Masalah utama yang dihadapi oleh peternak adalah keterbatasan produksi telur sehingga tidak mampu melayani seluruh pembeli yang memesan. Salah satu faktor penyebabnya adalah daya tetas telur yang belum maksimal. Permintaan akan unggas tersebut setiap bulannya meningkat cukup tajam, seiring dengan menjamurnya pembeli dan penjual hobi unggas hias dan kebutuhan daging. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan alat penetas telur teruntuk unggas hias yang tidak mampu mengeramkan telurnya, untuk mengurangi kegagalan penetasan, untuk membantu peternak mengejar target produksi dan alat ini mampu menampung telur sebanyak 50 butir selama 20-21 hari. Alat ini mempunyai sistem mengendalikan suhu, kelembapan secara otomatis dan juga mempunyai pencahayaan lampu pijar sebanyak 2 membutuhkan 10 watt dan motor stepper untuk menggerakkan rak telur 3 jam sekali membutuhkan 4 watt. Sedangkan PLTS yang dibutuhkan adalah panel surya (120 Wp), baterai (12V/50Ah), solar charger controller (10A) dan inverter (500 Watt).Kata kunci : Peternak, Menghemat Listrik, Alat Penetas Telur, Panel Surya, UnggasAbstract In Indonesia, breeders usually still experience hatching failures because they still use traditional hatchery methods. This egg incubator works using solar panels. So that solar panels as an alternative energy source. The main problem faced by farmers is the limited egg production so that they are not able to serve all buyers who order. One of the contributing factors is that the hatchability of eggs has not been maximized. The demand for these poultry increases quite sharply every month, along with the proliferation of buyers and sellers of ornamental poultry and meat needs. Therefore, an egg incubator is needed for ornamental birds that are not able to incubate their eggs, to reduce hatching failures, to help farmers achieve production targets and this tool is able to accommodate 50 eggs for 20-21 days. This tool has a system for controlling temperature, humidity automatically and also has 2 incandescent lighting requiring 10 watts and a stepper motor to drive an egg rack every 3 hours requires 4 watts. While the PLTS needed are solar panels (120 Wp), batteries (12V/50Ah), solar charger controllers (10A) and inverters (500 Watts). Abstract

At this time big data, with large data volumes that continue to grow and become complex, is a challenge and opportunity for governments and organizations. This is said to be a challenge considering that the increase in data volume will produce a lot and variety of information, thus requiring efficient ways of storing and managing data. Big data is said to be an opportunity considering that the magnitude of the study results and proper information management will open up new opportunities to recognize the potential for improving services in various government and organizational sectors. Big data can open up opportunities to increase knowledge about various aspects of people's lives so that it can encourage the creation of new trends and innovations in various fields, improve and optimize operations, and determine future conditions so that governments and organizations can produce appropriate basic products. In the future, big data will change the way governments and organizations run their operations, creating challenges and opportunities for decision-makers. Even so, in the future big data can be utilized more optimally for the benefit of the wider community. In the future, big data has great potential to be used in many sectors to improve people's welfare. Abstract

Smart City is a city where the existing command center makes it easier to access information in order to provide services to the community. The services that can be provided are varied and usually involve big data technology in order to improve people's quality of life and sustainable city efficiency. Where the increase in population in smart cities will be directly proportional to the increase in demand for city services such as smart transportation systems, smart electricity networks and so on. The right big data paradigm plays an important role in encouraging infrastructure growth and encouraging innovation that makes smart cities responsive to the needs of their residents and able to optimize the standard of living of their citizens. This is due to the ability of big data which is able to analyze large amounts of data so that it can manage resources efficiently for smart cities by utilizing advanced technology to improve services, efficiency, continuity and overall quality of life. Big Data in the development of smart city infrastructure will be examined for its benefits in its implementation. By utilizing the wealth of data in big data, smart cities can gain knowledge about patterns, trends and dynamics formed from daily activities in city development. By analyzing huge data sets, governments can make decisions about which areas need improvement to address critical issues and allocate resources efficiently for smart cities.

Abstract

AbstractThe introduction of oil spinner machines at SMK Negeri 04 Medan is part of a community service program that aims to improve students' knowledge and skills in the field of oil processing technology. An oil spinner machine is a tool used for the process of separating oil from raw materials, which has important applications in the food processing industry and agricultural raw materials. This program is carried out in the form of workshops and direct demonstrations involving students and teachers of SMK Negeri 04 Medan. The main objective of this activity is to provide an in-depth understanding of the function, working principle, and operation of oil spinner machines, as well as the benefits of this technology in industry. In addition, participants are given the opportunity to operate the machine directly and understand its practical application in the oil production process. During the activity, the material presented includes an explanation of the working principle of the oil spinner machine and its role in the oil processing process. Direct practice using an oil spinner machine to process various raw materials and see the results. Information on machine maintenance and safety procedures during operation. The results of this community service show an increase in students' understanding of oil processing technology as well as an increase in practical skills in using oil spinner machines. This activity also provides insight into career opportunities in the oil processing industry and helps prepare students to enter the workforce with relevant technical skills. Overall, this program successfully achieved its objectives and had a positive impact on engineering education at SMK Negeri 04 Medan, as well as strengthening the relationship between educational institutions and industry.

Abstract

Cloud computing services provide resources in the form of infrastructure platforms, software, and other hosting to customers. Data provided by digital systems is carried out in a cloud computing model service, providing data access anywhere as long as it is connected to the internet. In today's digital era, cloud computing supports the implementation of One Data Indonesia (SDI) to obtain quality data that is well integrated between local governments and the central government. With One Data Indonesia, it is hoped that data will have consistency so that it can be relied on for analysis and has a good level of security. One Data Indonesia is an idea from the Indonesian government to combine and maximize the use of data generated by government agencies in Indonesia so that it is useful for decision-making, planning, and more optimal public services. In realizing SDI, cloud computing can be utilized for data storage, ease of access, and creating better cooperation between government agencies. Cloud computing can help the Indonesian government optimize public services safely, and reliably, and maximize data potential in various fields to gain competitive advantages in all sectors of government.

Abstract

Memasuki Era Society 5.0 memperkenalkan perspektif   baru mengenai teknologi digital dan artificial intelligence yang dipadukan sehingga dapat mewujudkan masyarakat cerdas yang berpusat pada manusia. Dimana konsep masyarakat cerdas merupakan masyarakat yang memanfaatkan teknologi digital, data, dan artificial intelligence untuk meningkatkan taraf hidup, efektivitas, dan keberlanjutan dalam berbagai bidang kehidupan. Dengan penerapan artificial intelligence untuk mewujudkan masyarakat cerdas di Era Society 5.0 akan memberikan berbagai dampak positif yang berarti, baik dari sisi aspek kemasyarakatan, faktor ekonomi, maupun aspek ekologis. Artificial intelligence  memungkinkan peningkatan taraf hidup melalui automatisasi proses, layanan berbasis preferensi, dan penentuan kebijakan yang lebih efisien. Penelitian ini akan membahas peran artificial intelligence dalam mendukung transformasi digital masyarakat cerdas sehingga dapat diwujudkan efisiensi dalam sistem administrasi, tata kelola pemerintahan, memaksimalkan pengelolaan kota, mengakselerasi transformasi ekonomi digital, memajukan edukasi, inovasi serta memperbaiki kualitas kesehatan dan kehidupan dan lain sebagainya. Dapat dikatakan dengan memanfaatkan kolaborasi  teknologi yang berorientasi pada manusia, era society 5.0 mengutamakan  pada kesejahteraan manusia dengan artificial intelligence sebagai pemacu  utama dalam menciptakan solusi yang cerdas, menyeluruh, serta berkelanjutan.
