Abstract

This research analyzes the role of class teachers as facilitators in shaping the moral character of students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Wahid Hasyim. The main goal of education is to help students achieve their maximum potential through the development of inner strength, self-control, intelligence, and noble morals. Teachers play an important role as learning agents who inspire and motivate students to develop faith, spirituality and religious values. The research results show that the role of teachers as facilitators is very significant in shaping students' moral character through various religious activities, such as congregational dhuha prayers and tahfidzul Qur'an programs. Teachers also act as role models who provide examples of positive and disciplined behavior to students. In addition, emotional support and positive interactions between teachers and students help create a learning environment that is conducive to the development of student morality. Collaboration between family and school also plays an important role in shaping students' moral character. Key words: teacher; character; Islamic education; ethics

Abstract

The phenomenon of pesantren radicalism is something novel which recently happened. Islamic boarding schools as religious institutions are not actually established to be the source of radicalism. The pesantren has responsibility to produce knowledgeable religious characters or tafaqquh fi al-din. Therefore, pesantren teaches everything that exists in religion, from Tauhid, Syariah, and also morals. The pesantren development so far, with the intellectual capital that has been maintained by the pesantren, proves for making significant contribution to the formation and development of moderate diversity tone. In the diverse landscape of Muslim societies, pesantren are generators of moderate Islamic ideology, even though the degree of modernism is not explicitly affirmed in the texts of the yellow book (Kitab Kuning). Thus, the pesantren curriculum in itself has proven to be sufficient in the formation of the Islamic entity rãhmatan lil álamin. Keywords: Pesantren, curriculum, radicalism, moderate.

Abstract

With the development of modern times like today, many learning media use literature as a source of learning, one of which is the novel. There are many Islamic novels that can be taken from Islamic values as a lesson for those who read them. The focus of this research is emphasized on the analysis of: 1) The values of Islamic religious education in the novel Hati Suhita and 2) How is the relevance of the values of Islamic religious education in the novel Hati Suhita in the world of secondary education. This research is a library research which uses a descriptive approach and content analysis. The results of this study indicate that the values of Islamic religious education contained in the novel Hati Suhita by Khilma Anis are 1) Akidah values; Oneness of Allah, believe in the qadla and qadar of Allah, obey the commands of Allah SWT. 2) Value of Worship; Seeking knowledge, performing umroh, fardlu prayers, night prayers, ziarah, getting married, memorizing the Qur'an, studying the book, obeying husbands, building household harmony, silaturrahmi. 3) Moral Values; Obedient and obedient to parents and teachers, patient, steadfast, avoiding bad morals, respecting others, maintaining honor, grateful, sincere. Thus, the data on the values of Islamic religious education in the novel are relevant to Islamic religious education material at the junior high school level. Abstract

Menulis merupakan kegiatan yang dilakukan untuk mengungkapkan sebuah ide atau gagasan. Di Yayasan Mansyaul Ulum kegiatan tersebut masih terbilang cukup langka. Bahkan, MA Mansyaul Ulum dengan jurusan bahasanya belum cukup mampu mendorong aktivitas menulis, baik di kalangan guru maupun murid. Kelas Menulis adalah pengabdian berbentuk program pelatihan dan pendampingan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman tulis-menulis bagi guru, murid, santri, dan alumni di naungan Yayasan Mansyaul Ulum Ganjaran Gondanglegi Malang. Kegiatan ini telah menghasilkan beberapa karya tulis yang dibuat oleh peserta Kelas Menulis. Tulisan-tulisan tersebut ada yang berupa berita, puisi, esai dan bahkan buku.

Abstract

Pesantren merupakan institusi pendidikan Islam tertua di Indonesia yang terus mengalami perkembangan dan transformasi hingga tetap relevan dalam sistem pendidikan nasional. Salah satu wilayah yang memiliki konsentrasi pesantren cukup tinggi adalah Desa Ganjaran, Kecamatan Gondanglegi, Kabupaten Malang, yang dikenal sebagai Desa Santri. Namun, kajian akademik yang secara spesifik mengidentifikasi dan mengklasifikasikan tipologi pesantren di wilayah ini masih sangat terbatas. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginventarisasi seluruh pesantren di Desa Ganjaran serta mengkaji tipologinya berdasarkan teori-teori pendidikan pesantren dan kesesuaiannya dengan regulasi pendidikan nasional. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui dokumentasi arsip desa, situs resmi pesantren, dokumen internal lembaga, wawancara mendalam, serta observasi lapangan. Analisis data dilakukan melalui teknik pattern matching dan cross-case synthesis untuk mengidentifikasi pola-pola klasifikasi berdasarkan dimensi historis, sistem pembelajaran, kepemimpinan, legalitas, serta pengaruh sosial keagamaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 24 pesantren aktif di Desa Ganjaran. Pesantren tertua berdiri sejak tahun 1908 dan yang termuda didirikan pada 2023. Seluruh pesantren masih menganut sistem tradisional (salafiyah) dan sebagian besar masih dipimpin langsung oleh pendirinya. Pesantren telah memiliki fasilitas yang tergolong lengkap, namun sebagian belum memiliki izin operasional resmi. Secara umum, mayoritas pesantren memiliki pengaruh keagamaan yang meluas hingga luar Pulau Jawa, meskipun tidak ada yang memiliki lebih dari seribu santri mukim. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pemahaman akademik tentang diversitas pesantren dalam satu wilayah desa serta implikasinya terhadap pengembangan kebijakan pendidikan Islam berbasis komunitas lokal.
