Abstract

Background: Epilepsy and sleep are well recognized for having bidirectional influences upon one another. The effects of antiepileptic drugs (AEDs) on sleep are of particular concern.
Objective: The objective of this study is to know the profile of AEDs effect in patient’s sleep cycle. Methods: This analytical observational study observed total sleep time, sleep onset latency, sleep efficiency, daytime sleepiness, and insomnia in epileptic patient with AEDs of Neurology Clinic Airlangga University Hospital during May-September 2016. A cross sectional study was done by questionnaire and interview directly to the epileptic patients. Data collected was being analyzed analytically. Results: This research was conducted among 27 patients with epilepsy based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Sleep disturbances that had been found in patients with phenytoin are prolong sleep onset latency (11.11%), decreased sleep efficiency (11.11%), and excessive daytime sleepiness (66.67%). Sleep disturbances that had been found in patients with valproate are decreased total sleep time (33.33%), prolong sleep onset latency (11.11%), decreased sleep efficiency (11.11%), excessive daytime sleepiness (66.67%), and insomnia (11.11%). Sleep disturbances that had been found in patients with carbamazepine are decreased total sleep time (44.44%), prolong sleep onset latency (33.33%), decreased sleep efficiency (22.22%), excessive daytime sleepiness (77.78%), and insomnia (11.11%).Conclusion: In conclusion, this study shows that epileptic patients who consumed AEDs regularly may have sleep disturbance that vary based on the type of AEDs, patients with carbamazepine may have bigger sleep disturbance than with phenytoin and valproate. It is necessary to give information and education to the epileptic patients who consumed AEDs regularly so that they will become aware of the sign of sleep disturbance.

Abstract

The function of rechtsverwerking regulation that contained in PP Number 24 of 1997 gives legal certainty to the acquisition of land rights. The abandonment of land carried out by a person of the community does not fulfill the obligation to maintain the land rights, which results in that person can lose the land rights and ends with the issuance of a new land certificate to a person or legal material that in good faith maintains the abandoned land. Rechtsverwerking is related to the social function of land that prioritizes the usefulness of the land among the community. The rechtsverwerking arrangement gives a five-year deadline to the party who feels they own the wasteland to sue the holder of a new certificate of the land. Some examples of rechtsverwerking is contained in Supreme Court Ruling No. 979/K/Sip/1971 and Supreme Court Review Decision Number 336 PK/Pdt/2015. The enforcement of the rechtsverwerking institution in Indonesia has not actually been able to be carried out according to its purpose, this is proven by the number of lawsuits against certificates in state courts or the cancellation of certificates in the State Administrative Court after five years since the issuance of new certificates. However, it does not mean that the certificate of land rights does not guarantee legal certainty, because the certificate is recognized as a strong evidence of rights.

Abstract

Coconut (Cocos nucifera L.) is a cultivated tree due to its many benefits. Coconut can be processed into coconut water, coconut milk, coconut sugar, and coconut oil. The waste from VCO processing can be used as coconut flour. Coconut flour can be processed into gluten-free foods that are beneficial for health. Coconut flour is produced by drying coconut pulp, roasting, grinding, and sieving. The resulting coconut flour has a pure white to yellowish white color with a distinctive coconut aroma. Coconut flour is processed into healthy, non-gluten foods for diabetics, such as gluten-free banana cake. Coconut water can be used as a facial mask that functions to moisturize the skin. Community service activities by utilizing the potential of natural resources in Panca Mukti village are very targeted. Based on the results of the questionnaire, there was an increase in community knowledge after the extension and training activities were carried out.
