Abstract

This study aims to understand teachers' experiences in developing their digital competence in the era of educational digitalization through a phenomenological approach. The research focuses on the factors influencing teachers' digital competence, the challenges they face, and the role of institutional support such as schools, education policies, and professional training. The research method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach, where data is collected through in-depth interviews with participating teachers and field observations. The data is then analyzed using thematic analysis techniques to identify key themes that emerge from the teachers' subjective experiences. The findings show that teachers' digital competence is influenced by access to technological infrastructure, prior experience with technology, and institutional support. Teachers in urban areas are generally better prepared to face digitalization compared to teachers in remote areas, who experience limitations in technological access. Additionally, relevant professional training and supportive education policies play a crucial role in enhancing teachers' digital competence. However, challenges such as psychological pressure and ethical dilemmas in maintaining social interaction with students also emerge as barriers in this adaptation process. In conclusion, holistic support, both technical and emotional, is essential to help teachers effectively develop their digital competence.

Abstract

Abstrak” Kurangnya pengetahuan tentang alat keselamatan kapal nelayan kecil sering menyebabkan masalah seperti kecelakaan, kapal karam, dan kehabisan bahan bakar. Keterbatasan dana dari para nelayan kecil hingga menengah apabila terjadi hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan akan mempersulit para Polisi laut dan juga tim SAR dalam mengevakuasi para nelayan yang terkena musibah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang alat bangun sistem monitoring kapal nelayan berbasis komunikasi radio Long Range (LoRa) menggunakan LoRa E22-900T22D. Terdapat dua perangkat yaitu satu node device dan satu perangkat gateway yang dibangun menggunakan Single Input Single Output (SISO), untuk meningkatkan jangkauan dan keandalan transmisi. Data dari lokasi yang diterima dari node device akan dimonitor di grup telegram dan aplikasi handphone. Pengukuran dilakukan berdasarkan kekuatan sinyal yang diterima, delay transmisi dan bitrate berdasarkan frekuensi LoRa 860 MHz. Hasil dari pengujian dilakukan dengan membandingkan nilai jarak di pesisir pantai dan juga di terngah laut yang akan membandingkan dengan pengukuran terhadap daya yang diterima oleh sebuah perangkat wireless. Dari pengujian dapat menempuh jarak yang jauh dengan memberikan kecepatan transfer data yang efesien. Dari pengujian yang sudah dilakukan di pesisir pantai pelabuhan Krueng Geukueh mendapatkan nilai Received Sigbal Strength Indicator (RSSI) terbagus adalah 218 dijarak 0m dengan waktu delay yaitu, 0,20 detik dengan total kirim bit 144 bit dan bitrate 720 b/s kemudian nilai RSSI terburuk adalah 158 di jarak 4200m dengan delay 0,50 detik dengan total kirim bit 144 bit dan bit rate 288 b/s. Pengujian kedua dilakukan di tengah laut tepatnya di daerah Kampung Jawa Lama, Kota Lhokseumawe nilai Received Signal Stength Indicator (RSSI) terbagus adalah 205 pada jarak 0m dengan waktu delay 0,10 detik dengan total kirim bit 144 dan bitrate 1.14 kbps. Kemudian nilai RSSI terburuk adalah 153 di jarak maksimum yaitu 4800m dengan delay 0.38 detik dengan total kirim bit 144 dan bitrate 378.94 b/s.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of declining morality and Islamic character of the younger generation due to the rapid flow of globalization and the development of the times. The main purpose of this study is to find out how to instill character values based on Islamic Education at Senior High Schools 2 Oku Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation and documentation to obtain in-depth and valid information. The object of the research was carried out at Senior High Schools 2 Oku Regency, with the research subjects including grade XI students and Islamic Religious Education teachers who teach the subjects of Islamic Religious Education Lesson. The results of the study show that Islamic Religious Education teachers have a strategic role in instilling Islamic character values in students. These roles include roles as educators, supervisors, motivators, evaluators, and role models. Teachers actively foster positive habits of students, such as greetings, reciting prayers, and Asmaul Husna before and after learning, as well as carrying out religious activities such as congregational dzuhur prayers, muhadharah, and the reading of the Prophet's prayers. However, there are several inhibiting factors in the value instilling process, including diverse student backgrounds, low student participation in religious activities, a less supportive school environment, and limited infrastructure. Nevertheless, PAI teachers are still committed to shaping students' Islamic character consistently and sustainably.
