Abstract

AbstrakLatar belakang kajian ini bermula dari minat dalam melihat masalah dalam pendidikan untuk anak-anak Cerebral Palsy di tengah situasi sosial, budaya, dan ekonomi di negara membangun seperti Indonesia. Anak-anak Cerebral Palsy yang mempunyai masalah pada otak, memberikan tantangan untuk guru sekolah untuk menyampaikan pendidikan untuk anak-anak Cerebral Palsy. Walau bagaimanapun, peranan kerajaan sebagai pembuat kebijakan adalah penting untuk membuat peraturan yang baik dalam pendidikan untuk kanak-kanak dengan Cerebral Palsy. Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk memperluaskan pendidikan untuk anak-anak Cerebral Palsy yang diperlukan untuk mendapatkan perhatian lebih lanjut mengenai pelaksanaan pendidikan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan Filsafat Pendidikan sebagai kerangka teori dengan unsur-unsur metodis yakni deskripsi, interpretasi, refleksi, dan hermeneutika. Metode dalam kajian ini ialah kualitatif dengan berdasar pada sumber data kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan kemampuan dapat menjadi dasar dalam penerapan pendidikan bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus Cerebral Palsy, mengingat persoalan dilematis ketidaksesuaian antara teori dan praktik dalam pendidikan anak-anak Cerebral Palsy di IndonesiaAbstractThe background of this study started from the interest in exploring the case of education for children with Cerebral Palsy in the middle of social, culture, and economy situations in developing country such as Indonesia. Children with Cerebral Palsy which has a problem on brain, gives a challenge for a school teacher to deliver the education for children with Cerebral Palsy. However, the role of goverment as a policy maker are important to make a good regulation in education for children with Cerebral Palsy. The aim of this study is to extending that education for children with Cerebral Palsy is necessary to get more attention regarding to the implementation of education in Indonesia. The methohodology in this study is qualitative research based on literature data. This study using Philosophy of Education as a theoretical framework with the element of methodology: description, interpretation, reflection, and hermeneutics. The result of this study is capability approach could be a basic education for children with special needs Cerebral Palsy in Indonesia regarding to the dilema incoherence between theory and practice in apllication of special education for children with Cerebral Palsy.

Abstract

Educational policy is a conceptual basis that is essential for the implementation of education. Educational policy also holds an important position, role, and function in the implementation of education at the micro, meso, and macro scales. This article focuses on the problems, challenges, and future possibilities regarding educational policy from a philosophical perspective. This paper aims to explore the problems, challenges, and various future possibilities in the field of educational policy through the lens of philosophy, specifically ontology, epistemology, and axiology. This literature-based paper is a qualitative study that refers to John Ward Creswell 's book entitled "Qualitative Inquiry and Research Design: Choosing Among Five Approaches". This research is a type of library research using data collection techniques that involve reading literature sources such as books, journals, and studies, which are then classified for further analysis of the literature. The results of this study reveal the hidden philosophical meanings behind the problems and challenges of educational policy, serving as reflective material to consider and estimate various future possibilities concerning the development of educational policies deemed appropriate and suitable for formulation and implementation in the education sector. The findings of this study also pave the way for various studies in the field of educational policy analyzed through the 'lens' of philosophy.

Abstract

This research, which was conducted in one unit with community service activities, aims to provide character development training for students based on Islamic boarding school values ​​at SMK 1 Ma'arif, Sleman, Yogyakarta. This research is based on a sense of concern about the increasing number of juvenile delinquencies among high school students. Juvenile delinquency is triggered by several factors such as globalization, modernization, and the rapid development of information technology. This research focuses on efforts to minimize the negative impacts of these factors. This research uses a focus group discussion or FGD data collection method involving 18 respondents. This qualitative research uses the theoretical framework of Imam Al-Ghazali's philosophical thought, in order to analyze reflectively-philosophically the values ​​of Islamic boarding school culture as a basis for developing character education for students at SMK 1 Ma'arif, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The community service activities used were the lecture method and action plan assistance. The lecture method is used to convey material related to the values ​​of Islamic boarding school education in order to build the character of adolescents at SMK 1 Ma'arif, Sleman, Yogyakarta. This action plan mentoring method, participants are asked to submit a proposal for "Development of Student Activities at SMK 1 Ma'arif, Sleman, Yogyakarta through the Habituation of Pesantren Culture". The implementation of this research and community service activity was carried out at SMK 1 Ma'arif, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The target of this research and community service activity is the participants of the Student Character Development Training Based on Pesantren Values ​​at SMK 1 Ma'arif, Sleman Yogyakarta. The results of this research and community service activity, training participants get benefits that contribute to self-development in terms of insight, intellectual, personal, and professional.
