Abstract

The implementation of Merdeka curriculum has not long been established as the national curriculum, so many schools still lack teaching materials with limited textbooks.  This research aimed at developing STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) based Pancasila student profile strengthening project module on Chemical Bond lesson, and it was conducted with validity test by media and material experts, teacher practicality test, and student response test.  Research and Development (RnD) method was used in this research with Design and Development Research (DDR).  This research was conducted at State Senior High Schools 14 and 1 Pekanbaru.  The research findings showed that the validity scores were 82.6% by media experts with very valid category and 87.45% by material experts with very valid category.  The result of teacher practicality test showed that the mean was 93.84%, and it was on very practical category.  The last test was student response test, the result was 83.58%, and it was on very valid category.  The research findings showed that STREAM-based P5 teaching module developed was very valid, practical, and interesting for students.

Abstract

Students nowadays are used to take the advantage of technological advances in their daily lives, especially for education. Thus, students prefer to learn with by the collaboration of the latest electronic media. Therefore, electronic media is a must for the learning process. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of validity and practicality of Uno flashcard learning media on Assemblr Edu-based application on nomenclature of compound materials. The type of the research is DDR (Design and Development Research) development model with the stages of analysis, design, and development. This research was conducted in 2 schools, SMA Cendana Pekanbaru and SMA IT Al-Fityah Pekanbaru. The data was collected by interviews and questionnaires. Then the data analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The validity level obtained from this product is 93% (very valid), while the level of practicality obtained by teachers is 95% (very practical), and the response rate from students is 90% (very practical). Based on these results, it can be concluded that  the uno flashcard learning media based on Assemblr Edu application on nomenclature of compound material is very feasible and practical to use in the process of learning nomenclature of compound. The implication of this research is that it can provide new and innovative learning experiences to teachers and students.

Abstract

This research was instigated with Guided Discovery Learning based e-module learning medium that was not yet available to assist teachers in explaining learning material.  This research aimed at producing a learning medium, finding out validity and practicality levels of Guided Discovery Learning based chemistry e-module developed on Atomic Structure lesson.  It was Research and Development (R&D) with Design & Development (DDR) model.  The subjects of this research were 10 the eleventh-grade students of class 1 at Senior High School of Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru, 2 Chemistry subject teachers, a media expert lecturer, and a material expert lecturer.  Questionnaire and interview were the techniques of collecting data.  The research findings showed Guided Discovery Learning based e-module on Atomic Structure lesson that the validity percentages obtained from media and material experts respectively were 87.5% and 98.5% with very valid criteria.  The percentage of teacher practicality test was 82.5% with very practical criteria, and the result of student response test was 82.7% with very good criteria

Abstract

Quizizz online learning application is one of the most widely used learning evaluation applications, especially during the covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to analyze students' perceptions of the use of Quizizz in chemistry subjects with Hydrocarbons Material. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive approach at Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Wathan Pasar Kembang. 36 students were selected by purposive sampling, the data were collected using a questionnaire technique, while the data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the data analysis showed that students (89%) had a very good perception of the use of Quizizz in chemistry subjects with Hydrocarbon Materials.

Abstract

This research was instigated with the limitations of tools and materials in the process of practical work activities and the use of limited chemistry learning media. This research aimed at finding out the validity, practicality, and student response tests whose validity was tested by media experts, material experts, language experts, teachers, and students. The research method use was Research and Development (R&D) with Design and Development Research (DDR) model. The preliminary field test was conducted to the eleventh-grade students of class 3 at Senior High School of muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. The product in the form of Flashcard media with Augmented Reality in Thermochemistry practical work was developed in this research. The validation score by media experts, material experts, and language experts wa 82,9% with very valid criterion. Teacher practicality test result was 90% with very practical criterion, and student response test result was 81,7% with very good category. Based on the results obtained from the validity test, practicality test and response test, it can be concluded that augmented reality-assisted flashcard media on exothermic and endothermic reaction sub-material as a learning resource is very feasible and practical to use in the learning process of exothermic and endothermic reactions.Keywords: Augmented Reality, Flashcard, Exothermic and Endothermic ReactionsAbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keterbatasan alat dan bahan dalam proses kegiatan praktikum serta penggunaan media pembelajaran kimia yang terbatas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui validitas, praktikalitas, dan uji respon peserta didik terhadap media flashcard berbantuan augmented reality pada sub materi reaksi eksoterm dan endoterm sebagai sumber belajar yang diuji kevalidannya oleh ahli media, ahli materi, ahli bahasa, guru, dan peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model Desain and Development Research (DDR). Uji lapangan awal dilakukan di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru terhadap peserta didik kelas XI.3. Penelitian ini menghasilkan produk berupa media flashcard berbantuan augmented reality pada sub materi reaksi eksoterm dan endoterm dengan nilai validasi ahli media, ahli materi, dan ahli bahasa diperoleh sebesar 82,9% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Uji praktikalitas guru mendapatkan hasil sebesar 90% dengan kriteria sangat praktis, dan uji respon peserta didik mendapatkan hasil sebesar 81,7% dengan kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil yang didapatkan dari uji validitas, uji praktikalitas dan uji respon dapat disimpulkan bahwa media flashcard berbantuan augmented reality pada sub materi reaksi eksoterm dan endoterm sebagai sumber belajar sangat layak dan praktis digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran reaksi eksoterm dan endoterm. Keywords: Augmented Reality, Flashcard, Reaksi Eksoterm dan Endoterm

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan atau research and development (R&D). Sampel adalah seorang5guru kimia dan sepuluh siswa kelas XI yang telah mempelajari materi hakikat ilmu kimia melalui purposive sampling. Tahap pelaksanaan penelitian ini melalui (define), perancangan (design), dan pengembangan (develop). Dalam penelitian5dapat digunakan berbagai0macam metode diantaranya observasi, wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis1data yang2digunakan merupakan teknik3analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan4analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat validitas modul kimia ini berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi dan ahli media diperoleh sebesar 98,27% dan 86,8% dengan kriteria sangat valid, 2) tingkat praktikalitas modul kimia berdasarkan penilaian guru dan diperoleh sebesar 87,57%, dan 3) respon peserta didik terhadap modul kimia sebesar 87% dengan kriteria sangat praktis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan kendala yang dialami oleh peserta didik dalam mempelajari stoikiometri. Penelitian ini menyajikan sebuah e-modul yang didesain dengan penambahan teknik mnemonic akrostik yang memudahkan peserta didik dalam menghapal konsep stoikiomeri secara singkat dengan akronim yang mudah dipahami. E-modul yang dikembangkan ini dilakukan penilaian pada aspek validitas dan kepraktisan pada pembelajaran Stoikiometri. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pengembangan dengan model 4-D (Define, Design, Development, Disseminate) yang terbatas pada tahap development. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 5 Tapung dengan melibatkan validator ahli untuk tahapan validitas. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa e-modul kimia berbasis teknik mnemonic akrostik mendapatkan penilaian sebesar 87,7% valid dari ahli media dan 96,6% valid dari ahli materi. Selanjutnya, aspek kepraktisan oleh guru mendapatkan persentase sebesar 93% dan kepraktisan oleh siswa sebesar 88% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Keterbatasan penelitian ini masih dilakukan pada tahap yang ketiga yaitu tahap pengembangan yang menghasilkan produk prototype.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan kurangnya media pembelajaran interaktif yang digunakan dalam proses mengajar. Sehingga pemilihan dan pemanfaatan media yang tepat serta menarik dapat berdampak positif terhadap keberhasilan belajar siswa. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini hanya untuk melihat persepsi siswa terhadap penggunaan kahoot pada materi koloid. Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling pada 50 orang siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 2 Singingi Hilir. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa angket dan wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa SMAN 2 Singingi Hilir memiliki persepsi yang baik dalam penggunaan kahoot dengan persentase akhir 79%. Adapun implikasi dari penelitian dengan adanya penggunaan kahoot dapat memberikan manfaat dan pengalaman baru terhadap proses pembelajaran bagi guru dan siswa.

Abstract

Efikasi diri akademik diperlukan oleh mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan studinya dengan baik. Efikasi diri akademik menjadi prediktor terhadap kemampuan berfikir kritis, kinerja akademik, dan ketahanan akademik mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan studinya. Oleh karenanya, perlu diketahui profil efikasi diri akademik mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkapkan profil akademik mahasiswa pendidikan kimia di Kota Pekanbaru.  Sampel adalah mahasiswa pendidikan kimia semester 1 sampai 14 di Kota Pekanbaru yang dipilih menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat efikasi diri akademik mahasiswa pendidikan kimia di Kota Pekanbaru adalah tinggi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa pendidikan kimia percaya bahwa mereka mampu menyelesaikan permasalahan akademiknya secara baik dengan kemampuan diri sendiri maupun dengan melibatkan dengan bantuan orang lain. Tidak ada perbedaan signifikan efikasi diri akademik mahasiswa ditinjau dari asal universitas dan tingkatan mahasiswa.
