Abstract

Tesis ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Faktor - Faktor Yang Berpengaruh Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Pada Badan Pengelolan Perbatasan Dan Kerja Sama Luar Negeri Provinsi Papua. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian asosiatif, yakni pendekatan dengan menggunakan dua atau lebih variabel guna mengetahui hubungan atau pengaruh yang satu dengan yang lain. Penelitian ini memiliki dua variabel yaitu, variabel independen/variabel yang mempengaruhi dan variabel dependen/variabel yang dipengaruhi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui dan membuktikan pengaruh faktor pendidikan, pelatihan dan pengalaman kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai secara parsial dan simultan pada Badan Pengelolan Perbatasan dan kerja sama Luar Negeri Provinsi Papua. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah adalah keseluruhan pegawai Badan Pengelolan Perbatasan dan kerja sama Luar Negeri Provinsi Papua yang berjumlah 57 orang maka sampel yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 57 orang dengan teknik yang digunakan total sampling. Temuan membuktikan bahwa faktor pendidikan, faktor pelatihan, dan faktor pengalaman kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara parsial dan simultan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Kantor Badan Pengelolan Perbatasan dan kerja sama Luar Negeri Provinsi Papua..

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the effects of competence, training, and work discipline on the performance of Village Consultative Body (BAMUSKAM) members in Sarmi District. Research Design and Methodology: The research employs a quantitative approach with a survey method, utilizing a questionnaire as the instrument. The sample consists of 56 BAMUSKAM members from Sarmi District. Data analysis was conducted using multiple regression analysis and hypothesis testing with SPSS version 26.0. Findings and Discussion: The results indicate that competence, training, and work discipline each have a positive and significant impact on BAMUSKAM members' performance. Additionally, the combined influence of these variables significantly enhances performance. The findings support the hypothesis that these factors are crucial for improving organizational performance, highlighting the importance of educational and training programs, performance measurement systems, and strict adherence to discipline. Implications: This study underscores the necessity for local governments to invest in comprehensive training and development programs that cater to their specific needs. It also suggests fostering partnerships with educational institutions and implementing robust performance measurement systems that emphasize competence and discipline. The research provides practical insights for local government officials and policymakers to enhance the effectiveness of BAMUSKAM members.

Abstract

Purpose: This study investigates the evolution of employment law and its consequential impact on contemporary workplace dynamics. The research aims to elucidate the developmental trajectory of employment law and how these legal frameworks influence organizational behavior and labor market outcomes. Research Design and Methodology: A comprehensive review of pertinent literature was conducted, employing a qualitative, descriptive research methodology. This approach involved systematic examination and synthesis of existing studies, providing a nuanced understanding of the historical antecedents and contemporary phenomena influencing employment law. Findings and Discussion: The findings reveal that employment law has significantly evolved from its nascent stages during the Industrial Revolution to the complex legal frameworks of today. Key developments include establishing minimum wage laws, anti-discrimination statutes, and regulations addressing non-standard employment forms. The study highlights the impact of these legal changes on organizational practices, employee well-being, and broader economic dynamics. Technological advancements and globalization are critical drivers of recent legal adaptations, raising new challenges and opportunities within the gig economy and digital workspaces. Implications: The evolution of employment law underscores the importance of robust legal protections for promoting fair and equitable workplaces. Policymakers and organizational leaders are encouraged to continuously adapt legal frameworks to address emerging challenges, ensuring the protection of workers' rights, and fostering inclusive and dynamic work environments. Further interdisciplinary research is essential to inform effective policy interventions and enhance the adaptability of employment law in the face of ongoing socio-economic transformations.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate talent acquisition strategies employed by organizations across diverse industries and sectors, focusing on their alignment with organizational objectives, legal requirements, and diversity initiatives. The study employs a qualitative research approach, utilizing a comprehensive review of existing literature and case studies to analyze various talent acquisition strategies and their implications. Findings reveal a spectrum of proactive and reactive strategies, including talent pipelining, employer branding, succession planning, job postings, referrals, and engagement with recruitment agencies. Moreover, the integration of technology, particularly artificial intelligence (AI) and data analytics, has revolutionized talent acquisition practices, offering opportunities for efficiency and candidate engagement. However, the adoption of technology-driven solutions also presents challenges related to data privacy, algorithmic bias, and transparency. Ethical considerations surrounding the responsible and equitable use of technology in recruitment are discussed, emphasizing the importance of proactive measures to mitigate biases and ensure fairness. Overall, this research underscores the strategic importance of aligning talent acquisition strategies with organizational objectives and diversity initiatives to drive organizational success and competitiveness.

Abstract

This qualitative research explores labor mobility and wage dynamics within contemporary labor economics. The study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the factors influencing labor market outcomes and inform evidence-based policymaking. The research methodology involves a systematic review of literature, employing established guidelines for transparency and rigor. Data collection entails identifying and retrieving scholarly articles, books, and reports from electronic databases, applying inclusion and exclusion criteria to ensure relevance and quality. Thematic analysis is employed to synthesize key findings, identify recurring themes, and develop a conceptual framework elucidating the relationships between labor mobility, wage dynamics, and related factors. The interpretation phase involves synthesizing and interpreting the analyzed data to develop coherent narratives and insights. The findings underscore the multifaceted nature of labor mobility and wage dynamics, highlighting the impact of economic, social, and institutional factors on individuals' access to economic opportunities and wage outcomes. Persistent barriers to mobility, including gender disparities and immigration policies, continue to limit access to economic opportunities for certain demographic groups. Additionally, technological advancements and institutional interventions play crucial roles in shaping wage dynamics and mitigating wage disparities. Interdisciplinary collaboration and evidence-based policymaking are essential for promoting inclusive and sustainable labor markets. This research contributes to advancing knowledge in the field of labor economics and informs strategies to foster economic opportunity for all individuals.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the relationship between organizational sustainability and human resource wellbeing, emphasizing the strategic imperatives for fostering sustainable growth and success in contemporary organizations. Adopting a comprehensive literature review approach, the study examines the theoretical foundations, managerial implications, and practical strategies associated with nurturing both organizational and human resource wellbeing. The methodology involves synthesizing findings from diverse perspectives, including organizational sustainability, human resource management, and leadership studies. Results indicate that organizational sustainability serves as a cornerstone for long-term viability, encompassing financial stability, operational efficiency, stakeholder relationships, and environmental responsibility. Additionally, human resource wellbeing emerges as a critical determinant of organizational performance, innovation, and employee engagement, influenced by factors such as leadership style, organizational culture, and employee wellbeing initiatives. Abstract

The study explores the integration of Islamic principles into Human Resource Management (HRM) practices, aiming to understand its implications for organizational effectiveness and employee well-being. Employing a qualitative research methodology, the study utilizes semi-structured interviews, document analysis, and observations to gather data from HR practitioners, managers, and employees involved in implementing Islamic HRM practices. Thematic analysis is employed to identify key themes, patterns, and challenges related to the integration process. The findings highlight the significance of HR practitioners' awareness of Islamic principles in shaping HRM practices and the challenges posed by cultural barriers and resistance to change. Despite these challenges, integrating Islamic principles into HRM practices offers benefits such as enhanced organizational performance, employee motivation, and well-being. Strategies to address the lack of awareness among HR practitioners and promote diversity and inclusion initiatives are proposed to facilitate the integration process. The study underscores the importance of aligning HRM practices with Islamic values to create ethical, inclusive, and culturally sensitive work environments.

Abstract

The study aims to investigate effective strategies for enhancing employee retention and fostering a nurturing work environment in organizations. Employing a comprehensive literature review approach, this research synthesizes key findings regarding financial incentives, career development opportunities, supportive work environments, and effective leadership practices in promoting employee retention. Methodologically, the study utilizes a qualitative analysis of existing literature to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to the retention strategies employed by organizations. The findings suggest that competitive salaries, performance bonuses, comprehensive benefits packages, and career advancement pathways are instrumental in attracting and retaining top talent. Additionally, fostering a supportive work environment characterized by open communication, transparent leadership, inclusivity, and empowerment significantly contributes to employee satisfaction and retention. Effective leadership practices, such as transformational leadership and visionary communication, play a critical role in inspiring employee engagement and commitment. Implications of the study underscore the importance of organizations adopting a multifaceted approach to retention, integrating financial incentives, career development opportunities, supportive work environments, and effective leadership practices. By recognizing and addressing the diverse needs and preferences of employees, organizations can create a positive workplace culture conducive to long-term employee retention and organizational success.
