Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan menggunakan model 4D S. Thiagarajana dan meliputi empat tahapan: pendefinisian, desain, pengembangan dan diseminasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran berhitung lingkaran media yang digunakan untuk menghitung keliling bangun datar bagi siswa kelas 3 SDN Pasar Kemis III Kab. Tangerang. Media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan melewati tahap validasi dengan ahli materi dan ahli media untuk selanjutnya dilakukan pengujian di lapangan siswa. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data hasil angket dari ahli materi, ahli media, guru kelas III, dan siswa melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data melalui analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil verifikasi ahli materi, uraian “sangat baik” menghasilkan skor verifikasi 45 dengan persentase 90%, dan penilaian mendapat verifikasi 43 dari ahli media dengan persentase 86%. mendapat skor. 'Bagus sekali', validasi guru kelas III memperoleh nilai validasi sebesar 73 dengan prosentase 91,2%. Untuk hasil tes pertama di lapangan, kami mendapat nilai antara 81% sampai 100% pada kriteria “sangat baik”. Secara keseluruhan, media pembelajaran ini membantu Anda menghitung keliling bangun datar. Berdasarkan pengamatan kami dengan menggunakan media ini, kami dapat memudahkan siswa untuk menghitung keliling bangun datar.

Abstract

The low understanding of 5th-grade students at SDN Ukirsari on adding fractionsbecame the reason for this research. The issue arises because learning approaches tend to be less student-oriented and do not utilize learning media. The RME (Realistic Mathematic Education) approach is implemented as a corrective action to address this issue. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart model which is characterized by each cycle including 4 stages (planning, acting, observation, reflection). To obtain data on action processes and learning outcomes, observation and test techniques are used. The targets for the success of this research were achieved in cycle II. The results of data analysis on cycle I and II learning outcomes prove that there is an increase in the percentage of students' completion after using the RME approach. Based on data analysis from observations, it can be seen that there has been a change in the quality  of  the  learning  process  to  become  student-centered.  So,  the  RME approach succeeded in improving the learning outcomes of 5th-grade students at SDN Ukirsari on the concept of adding fractions and was also able to encourage students to be more active during the learning process. Keywords: RME, Fractions, Elementary school.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low basic multiplication ability at MI Tarbiyatul Mubtadiin. This is due to the lack of learning media and learning is also dominated by the teacher. So student activities are limited which results in low ability in basic multiplication. Therefore, this research was conducted to improve the ability in multiplication at the basic level using the Congklak-matika game media with a sample of 8 students. This research method uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle has four phases consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques in the form of tests and observations and interviews. The results showed that the students' multiplication ability increased in each cycle. The increase was based on the acquisition of students' numeracy test results. this is evidenced in the first cycle the students' multiplication ability, which is 37.5%, is categorized as lacking and in the second cycle, the students' multiplication ability, which is 87.5%, is categorized as good and it is stated that the basic level multiplication learning through the congklak-matika game has reached the minimum completeness criteria or is declared successful. Therefore, the results of this study prove that the application of the Congklak-matika game media is able to improve students' abilities in mathematics subjects in the basic multiplication material for class 3 MI Tarbiyatul Mubtadiin so that the Congklak-matika game can be used as a learning medium

Abstract

Based on observations, there are low mathematics scores for measurement material in 2 different schools. This happened due to the COVID 19 factor and lack of parental guidance. Therefore, as a reference, researchers developed RME-based mathematics teaching materials in the form of realistic mathematics education-based modules. This research uses the R&D method. aims to determine the procedures, feasibility and effectiveness of the module. Based on the research carried out, the results of the research are: procedures carried out based on the ADDIE model, validation from media and material experts respectively 75% and 76%. And this product is considered effective because it can liven up the classroom atmosphere and get student and teacher questionnaire scores of 100% and 85% respectively.

Abstract

Pendekatan pembelajaran Think Pair Share adalah metode yang mendorong partisipasi aktif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran, melibatkan berpikir individu dan kolaboratif. Pendekatan ini didukung oleh strategi konkret yang diyakini meningkatkan kemampuan operasi perkalian. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan siswa kelas II SDN Cibadak I dalam operasi perkalian dengan menerapkan paradigma pembelajaran Think Pair Share dan media konkret berupa kelereng dan plastik. Metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) digunakan dalam tiga tahap: prasiklus, siklus I, dan siklus II. Setiap siklus melibatkan langkah persiapan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Tes mengindikasikan peningkatan kemampuan operasi perkalian siswa. Pada tahap pra-siklus, rata-rata nilai siswa 57 (ketuntasan 30%). Siklus I mengalami peningkatan menjadi 65 (ketuntasan 35%). Siklus II menunjukkan peningkatan yang lebih signifikan, rata-rata skor 92 (ketuntasan 90%), khususnya pada siklus II. Dengan demikian, penerapan pendekatan Think Pair Share dengan media konkret memberikan dampak positif terhadap kemampuan operasi perkalian siswa SDN Cibadak I, Kecamatan Cimanggu-Pandeglang. Ini menegaskan efektivitas metode pembelajaran dalam merangsang partisipasi dan pemahaman siswa secara holistik.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the extent to which the use of pictured number card media influences the counting ability of students with mild intellectual disabilities at the Special School (Sekolah Khusus/Fauzan SKh) in Serang Regency.  the primary research question was whether the use of pictured number card media had a significant effect on the counting skills of students with mild intellectual disabilities at Fauzan Special School. The hypotheses of this study comprised a null hypothesis (Ho), which stated that the media had no effect on the students’ counting skills, and an alternative hypothesis (H1), which posited a significant effect. The study employed a pre-experimental method using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population consisted of 23 students with special needs, from which a sample of 10 students with mild intellectual disabilities was selected. Data were collected through tests, observations, and documentation. The results, analyzed using the Wilcoxon Matched Pairs test at a significance level of 0.05, yielded ap-value of 0.005. Since this value was less than 0.05, the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. These findings indicated that the use of pictured number card media significantly improved the counting skills of students with mild intellectual disabilities.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to examine the implementation of classroom management, identify supporting and inhibiting factors in classroom management, and understand the efforts to improve the quality of learning through classroom management. This qualitative study, conducted at SD Negeri Cigelam 2 in Serang, Banten, involves 5th-grade students and a teacher. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. The study employs the Strauss and Corbin Model for data analysis. The findings indicate that classroom management has been effectively implemented, employing principles and approaches in the learning process. Supporting factors include conducive facilities, adequate learning resources, student preparedness, and school-community collaboration. Inhibiting factors encompass the transformative impact of the pandemic, limited resources, human resource constraints, lack of result analysis, varying student qualities, and disruptions. Strategies for improving learning quality through classroom management involve adapting learning materials, creating a comfortable classroom environment, implementing meaningful disciplinary actions, and maximizing teaching effectiveness. The study contributes to the literature by providing insights into the practical application of classroom management principles in an Indonesian elementary school setting.

Abstract

Keterampilan berpikir kritis pada era 5.0 menjadi keterampilan yang wajib dimiliki setiap siswa. Keterampilan ini membuat siswa menciptakan ide-ide baru yang dapat memecahkan permasalahan dalam proses pembelajaran. Namun, menurut data observasi di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Duri Kepa 17 Pagi, Jakarta Barat ditemukan bahwa masih terdapat siswa yang kurang tanggap memahami pembelajaran sehingga berdampak terhadap perkembangan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan problem bassed learning berbasis video interaktif dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap perkembangan berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar, khususnya pada pelajaran matematika Kelas IV. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metodologi kuantitatif, yaitu metode pra-eksperimen satu kelompok pretest-posttest. Sampling jenuh digunakan untuk memilih 21 sampel yaitu siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri Duri Kepa 17 Pagi, Jakarta Barat. Pengumpulan data melalui tes pretest dan posttest. Analisis data dilakukan melalui dua tahapan. Uji normalitas lilliefors untuk menguji distribusi data dan uji paired sample t-test untuk membandingkan perbedaan skor pretest dan posttest. Hasil analisis data dengan uji-t menunjukkan nilai (sig) 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga Ha diterima. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan, bahwa problem bassed learning berbasis video interaktif, secara signifikan meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa Kelas IV dalam pelajaran matematika yang diajarkan di sekolah dasar.
