Abstract

Public service is a process of bureaucratic performance, the link with bureaucratic culture is very strong, meaning that any activities carried out by public service officers must be guided by the normative rules that have been determined by public organizations as a manifestation of the behavior of public organizations. In this regard, the problem that exists is that the service of public officials at the Pulau Rakyat Sub-district Office, Asahan Regency, shows that there are still deviations in attitudes and behavior as well as the actions of the apparatus as public servants. In everyday reality, it shows that the management services are complicated, require a large amount of money, are less informative or less transparent and discriminatory. In fact, people's expectations for improving the implementation of public services are actually getting further away from the reality. The quality of service is indicated by the absence of professional services, which is the success of the government in managing quality services. The quality of service by the employees of the Pulau Rakyat Sub-district Office of Asahan Regency who are selfish, considerate and serious to carry out their duties and obligations, as well as low knowledge and skills in carrying out their duties

Abstract

The increase in prices of basic commodities has caused many business actors, especially MSMEs in the culinary sector, to decide to stop their businesses. The increase in the price of rice, the main staple in the culinary business, is one of the contributing factors. Several MSME entrepreneurs in the culinary sector have canceled plans to continue their business because of the high prices of basic commodities which are not commensurate with their income. Not to mention that the application of digital technology in marketing a business is very rarely implemented. Many MSME activists, especially in urban areas, have not implemented website or application technology to promote their businesses. So their business is less popular and does not rule out the possibility of a lack of buyers. Warung Wawa's culinary business is an MSME activist in the city, especially the culinary catering business, which has quite a lot of experience in running its business. Partner problems, including the lack of application and use of technology in running the business, are just one of the impacts of the lack of interest in the Wawa stall catering business. The methods applied include identifying problems with partners and then providing solutions in implementing the website. Next, hold outreach to partners in implementing the website and implementing the system that has been created. Next, evaluate the system. The aim of community service in applying information technology in creating a website will be to make it easier and provide detailed & real-time information, making it easier for Wawa stall partners to run a digital catering business.Keywords: website; UMKM; warung wawa Abstrak: Kenaikan harga bahan pokok telah menyebabkan banyak pelaku usaha terutama UMKM sektor kuliner memutuskan untuk menghentikan usaha mereka. Kenaikan harga beras bahan pokok utama dalam bisnis kuliner menjadi salah satu faktor penyebabnya. Beberapa pengusaha UMKM bidang kuliner membatalkan rencana untuk melanjutkan usaha mereka karena tingginya harga bahan pokok yang tidak sebanding dengan pendapatan mereka. Belum lagi penerapan teknologi digital dalam memasarkan sebuah usaha sangatlah jarang diterapkan. Banyak pegiat UMKM khususnya dikota kisaran belum menerapkan teknologi website ataupun aplikasi dalam mempromosikan usahanya. Sehingga usaha mereka kurang populer dan tak menutup kemungkinan sepi pembeli. Usaha kuliner warung wawa merupakan pegiat UMKM dikota kisaran khususnya usaha catering kuliner yang sudah cukup banyak merasakan pengalaman dalam menjalankan usahanya. Permasalahan mitra diantaranya kurangnya penerapan dan pemanfaatan teknologi dalam menjalankan usahanya merupakan salah satu dampak sepinya peminat usaha catering warung wawa. Metode yang diterapkan diantaranya mengidentifikasi permasalahan pada mitra kemudian memberikan solusi dalam penerapan website. Selanjutnya mengadakan soialisasi terhadap mitra dalam penerapan website dan implementasi system yang telah dibuat. Selanjutnya evaluasi terhadap system. Tujuan dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam penerapan teknologi informasi dalam pembuatan website nantinya dapat mempermudah dan memberikan informasi secara detail dan realtime sehingga mempermudah mitra warung wawa dalam menjalankan usaha catering digital.Kata kunci: website; UMKM; warung wawa

Abstract

To clean the floor, it can be done manually by using a floor mop along with floor cleaning fluid, but this will result in a floor that is already clean. Still, the implementation time is long enough to interfere with the time of mothers who are office workers or manufacturers to help their husband's income. . In the process of cleaning the floor, cleaning the floor can be done until the floor is clean so that the children are comfortable playing on the floor. The process of cleaning floors can be done in various ways, either manually or automatically. To clean the floor with a large floor size more quickly, the floor is cleaned with machine power. But the range and limitations of floor cleaning machines exist. So it is necessary to make a robot that works automatically without human assistance to do the cleaning so that the job is done quickly and the area limit of the cleaning results is greater. The system will work using penggerak technology remotely using Bluetooth. This system aims to connect communication between wheeled robots and smartphones via Bluetooth communication media. From the test results, the author has successfully applied Bluetooth technology to a wheeled robot by providing instructions such as forward, backward, turn right, turn left, and stop. This robot is used to clean floors quickly and practically so that it can be done by itself.

Abstract

SMK Negeri 4 Tanjungbalai is a state vocational education institution located in Tanjungbalai Asahan. This school has teaching staff who play a role in imparting knowledge to students. However, there are challenges in providing additional understanding to students regarding the topic of network management, especially in terms of knowledge about hotspot management which is currently in great demand by business actors in the network sector. The school is a school team of goals in community service. There are problems in the teaching and learning process, especially in the field of computer networks, which among other things occur in educators who have not provided additional material on proxy management such as using the mikhmon application in network management or making busy vouchers in the business world network. In this process, the Team is responsible for community service activities. The methods used include conducting initial observations at schools to gather information about existing problems. Furthermore, the Team will conduct internal discussions to discuss the obstacles encountered, find solutions to problems that arise, and provide direction regarding understanding network management, especially in the context of network science.

Abstract

Abstract: Lighting is one of the important aspects in supporting the comfort of public facilities, especially for futsal fields that rely on lighting for better user visibility at night. This study focuses on finding lighting solutions for futsal fields that are still running manually by providing alternative solutions in the form of implementing the concept of a smart automation system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) by combining the working systems of LDR sensors, ultrasonic sensors, and microcontrollers, this aims to provide convenience while creating innovation for existing problems. Using observation and implementation methods produces a system that is designed in such a way that the results will later be displayed on the Kodular android application for remote monitoring. It is hoped that the system in this study can work effectively and efficiently in managing field lighting that can answer the problems raised.            Keywords: automation; IoT; kodular; lighting; monitoring. Abstrak: Pencahayaan merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam hal yang mendukung kenyamanan fasilitas publik terutama untuk lapangan futsal yang mengandalkan pencahayaan untuk visibilitas pengguna lebih baik pada malam hari. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pencarian solusi pencahayaan pada lapangan futsal yang masih berjalan secara manual dengan diberikannya solusi alternatif berupa penerapan konsep sistem otomatisasi pintar berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) dengan memadu-padankan sistem kerja sensor LDR, sensor ultrasonik, dan mikrokontroler, hal tersebut bertujuan memberikan kemudahan sekaligus menciptakan inovasi bagi permasalahan yang ada. Menggunakan metode observasi dan implentasi menghasilkan sistem yang dirancang sedemikian rupa dengan hasil yang nantinya akan ditampilkan pada aplikasi android Kodular untuk pemantauan jarak jauh. Diharapkan sistem dalam penelitian ini dapat bekerja secara efektif dan efisien dalam pengelolaan pencahayaan lapangan yang dapat menjawab pemasalahan yang diangkat.                                           Kata kunci: IoT; pencahayaan; otomatis; pemantauan; kodular.

Abstract

Abstract: This community service activity aims to introduce the basic concepts of Big Data and data analysis skills to high school students. In today's digital era, understanding data and the ability to process it into useful information are essential skills for students to face future challenges. Through an educational and hands-on approach, the activity included lectures, demonstrations, and practical exercises using simple tools such as Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel. The results indicate a significant improvement in students' understanding of Big Data, data visualization, and interpretation of analysis outcomes. This activity also fostered students' interest in information technology and data science. It is expected that this initiative will serve as a foundational model for developing data literacy among students.Keywords: Big Data, Data Analysis, Data Literacy, High School Students, Community Service.Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan konsep dasar Big Data dan keterampilan analisis data kepada siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Di era digital saat ini, pemahaman mengenai data dan kemampuan mengolahnya menjadi informasi sangat penting sebagai bekal siswa menghadapi tantangan masa depan. Melalui pendekatan edukatif dan praktis, kegiatan ini melibatkan pemaparan materi, demonstrasi, serta praktik langsung menggunakan alat bantu sederhana seperti Google Sheets dan Microsoft Excel. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep Big Data, visualisasi data, dan interpretasi hasil analisis. Abstract

KITA Driving Course, located in Kisaran, North Sumatra, faces challenges in maintaining service quality amidst increasing student enrollment. Despite operating since 2013, the institution lacks a structured, data-driven evaluation system to assess student satisfaction. This study applies a quantitative descriptive approach using the K-Means clustering algorithm to classify student satisfaction levels. Data were collected from 100 respondents through a questionnaire based on the five SERVQUAL dimensions: tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The K-Means algorithm grouped the satisfaction data into three categories: highly satisfied, satisfied, and dissatisfied. The majority of students were classified as satisfied (18 students), followed by highly satisfied (11 students), and dissatisfied (10 students). The findings indicate that the K-Means algorithm provides valuable insights into student satisfaction patterns, enabling targeted service improvements. The analysis also reveals that responsiveness and assurance were key areas of dissatisfaction, suggesting that instructor response time and safety assurance should be prioritized. These insights can help improve service strategies and can be adapted by other educational institutions for quality optimization through data analysis.

Abstract

Abstract: In the era of the Internet of Things (IoT), cyber threats are increasingly complex and dynamic, thus demanding an adaptive and intelligent network security system. This study proposes a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN)-based Intrusion Detection System (IDS) implemented through a Federated Learning (FL) approach in a Non-Independent and Identically Distributed (Non-IID) data environment. This approach allows the model to be trained in a distributed manner across multiple IoT devices without having to collect sensitive data to a central server, thereby maintaining data privacy while increasing the efficiency of the training process. The experiment used the CIC IoT 2023 dataset, which represents various modern IoT network traffic patterns. The results show that the proposed CNN–FL model achieves an overall accuracy of 0.99, with excellent performance in detecting various types of network traffic. The model obtains a perfect recall value (1.00) for normal traffic (Benign), as well as a very high F1-score for DDoS (0.99) and DoS (0.99) attacks. Stable and consistent performance across all five federation rounds demonstrates that this approach is a reliable, efficient, and accurate solution for detecting threats in distributed and privacy-preserving IoT networks. Keywords: cnn; federated_learning; ids; non-iid; ciciot2023 Abstrak: Dalam era Internet of Things (IoT), ancaman siber semakin kompleks dan dinamis, sehingga menuntut sistem keamanan jaringan yang adaptif dan cerdas. Penelitian ini mengusulkan Intrusion Detection System (IDS) berbasis Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) yang diterapkan melalui pendekatan Federated Learning (FL) pada lingkungan data yang bersifat Non-Independent and Identically Distributed (Non-IID). Pendekatan ini memungkinkan model dilatih secara terdistribusi di berbagai perangkat IoT tanpa harus mengumpulkan data sensitif ke server pusat, sehingga mampu menjaga privasi data sekaligus meningkatkan efisiensi proses pelatihan. Eksperimen menggunakan dataset CIC IoT 2023, yang merepresentasikan berbagai pola lalu lintas jaringan IoT modern. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model CNN–FL yang diusulkan mencapai akurasi keseluruhan sebesar 0.99, dengan performa yang sangat baik dalam mendeteksi berbagai jenis lalu lintas jaringan. Model memperoleh nilai recall sempurna (1.00) untuk lalu lintas normal (Benign), serta nilai F1-score yang sangat tinggi untuk serangan DDoS (0.99) dan DoS (0.99). Kinerja yang stabil dan konsisten di seluruh lima putaran federasi membuktikan bahwa pendekatan ini merupakan solusi yang andal, efisien, dan akurat untuk mendeteksi ancaman pada jaringan IoT yang bersifat terdistribusi dan menjaga privasi (privacy-preserving).
