Abstract

Abstract. MAS Bahrul Uluum Al-Kamal is located in Siumbut-umbut sub-district, Kisaran Timur sub-district, Asahan district. The majority of students at this school are students who live at the MAS Bahrul Uluum Al-Kamal Islamic boarding school. The aim of this service is to increase madrasah students' understanding of activity proposals held within the madrasah or activities outside the madrasah as well as to improve students' skills in writing activity proposals properly and correctly. What madrasah students need is training in writing activity proposals because so far they have been considered not good enough. The methods used in this service activity are observation, training and mentoring (the practice of making student activity proposals). Through interviews with the Head of Student Affairs and the head of extracurricular activities at MAS Bahrul Uluum Al-Kamal, data was obtained that this madrassa student experienced difficulties in preparing activity proposals. Furthermore, through observation activities it was found that after the training activities students experienced an increase in their skills in preparing activity proposals. The result of carrying out the activities is that students who take part in the training have a good understanding of making activity proposals and know and have the ability to prepare activity proposals organized by the madrasah so that they can apply them to other madrasah activities. Keywords: training; activity proposals; student  Abstrak. MAS Bahrul Uluum Al-Kamal terletak di kelurahan Siumbut-umbut kecamatan Kisaran Timur kabupaten Asahan. Siswa di sekolah ini mayoritas merupakan santri yang menetap di pondok pesantren MAS Bahrul Uluum Al-Kamal. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa madrasah tentang proposal kegiatan yang diselenggarakan dilingkungan madrasah ataupun kegiatan ke luar madrasah serta untuk meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam penulisan proposal kegiatan dengan baik dan benar. Yang dibutuhkan oleh siswa madrasah adalah pelatihan menulis proposal kegiatan karena selama ini dinilai masih kurang baik. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah observasi, pelatihan dan pendampingan (praktik pembuatan proposal kegiatan siswa). Melalui wawancara dengan Waka kesiswaan dan ketua ekskul MAS Bahrul Uluum Al-Kamal diperoleh data bahwa siswa madrsah ini mengalami kesulitan dalam menyusun proposal kegiatan. Selanjutnya melalui kegiatan observasi didapati bahwa setelah kegiatan pelatihan siswa mengalami peningkatan dalam keterampilan menyusun proposal kegiatan. Hasil dari pelaksanaan kegiatan adalah siswa yang mengikuti pelatihan memiliki pemahaman yang baik tentang pembuatan proposal kegiatan dan mengetahui serta memiliki kemampuan untuk menyusun proposal kegiatan yang diselenggarakan oleh madrasah sehingga dapat mereka terapkan pada kegiatan madrasah lainnya. Kata kunci: pelatihan; proposal kegiatan; siswa

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to find and analyze the elements that contribute to the difficulties students face in academic writing. This research focuses on the following issues: ineffective learning methods, students' lack of understanding of the material in Indonesian courses, lack of academic writing practice, and students' inability to apply their knowledge of Indonesian to academic writing. The research method used was qualitative with a case study approach, involving interviews, observations, and documentation of student and lecturer work. In addition, students face challenges when they apply the theories they have learned into academic writing practice. This study suggests more creative teaching methods, more writing exercises with constructive feedback, and more writing consultation and guidance to help students develop their academic writing skills Keywords: Academic writing; lectures; Indonesian language. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan dan menganalisis unsur-unsur yang berkontribusi pada kesulitan yang dihadapi mahasiswa dalam menulis akademik. Penelitian ini berfokus pada masalah berikut: metode pembelajaran yang tidak efektif, kurangnya pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap materi pada mata kuliah bahasa Indonesia, kurangnya latihan menulis akademik, dan ketidakmampuan mahasiswa untuk menerapkan pengetahuan mereka tentang bahasa Indonesia ke dalam tulisan akademik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, melibatkan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi hasil kerja mahasiswa dan dosen pengampu. Selain itu, mahasiswa menghadapi tantangan ketika mereka menerapkan teori yang telah mereka pelajari ke dalam praktik menulis akademik. Studi ini menyarankan metode pengajaran yang lebih kreatif, lebih banyak latihan menulis dengan umpan balik konstruktif, dan lebih banyak konsultasi dan bimbingan menulis untuk membantu mahasiswa mengembangkan keterampilan menulis akademik mereka. Kata kunci: Menulis akademik; perkuliahan; bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

This community service aims to improve digital literacy of students at SMK Negeri 1 Setia Janji through training in safe and effective internet use. Digital literacy is an essential skill in today's digital era, especially for Vocational High School (SMK) students who will enter the workforce directly. However, the low understanding of wise internet use, as well as the rampant misuse of digital media, are serious challenges that need to be overcome. The method used in this activity is a hands-on training approach that includes materials on digital ethics, cybersecurity, online information management, and the use of the internet for learning and self-development. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in students' understanding and skills related to safe and effective internet use. Thus, this training has proven effective in improving students' digital literacy and can be used as a model for developing digital competencies in other school environments. Keywords: digital literacy; safe internet; training; vocational high school students Abstrak: Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital siswa SMK Negeri 1 Setia Janji melalui pelatihan penggunaan internet secara aman dan efektif. Literasi digital merupakan keterampilan esensial dalam era digital saat ini, terutama bagi siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) yang akan terjun langsung ke dunia kerja. Namun, rendahnya pemahaman tentang penggunaan internet secara bijak, serta maraknya penyalahgunaan media digital, menjadi tantangan serius yang perlu diatasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pendekatan pelatihan berbasis praktik langsung (hands-on training) yang mencakup materi tentang etika digital, keamanan siber, manajemen informasi online, serta pemanfaatan internet untuk pembelajaran dan pengembangan diri. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa terkait penggunaan internet yang aman dan efektif. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi digital siswa dan dapat dijadikan model pengembangan kompetensi digital di lingkungan sekolah lainnya. Abstract

This research focuses on the design and implementation of an Electronic Supply Chain Management (E-SCM) system to enhance efficiency and responsiveness in distribution and inventory management within the agricultural sector. The study addresses recurring challenges in supply chain operations, including inefficiencies in inventory tracking, lack of coordination and transparency between suppliers and customers, and difficulty in forecasting demand due to fluctuating market conditions, seasonal cycles, and environmental factors. These challenges often result in stock imbalances, delayed deliveries, increased operational costs, and diminished customer satisfaction. The proposed solution is a web-based platform integrating administrators, suppliers, and customers into a single digital ecosystem. It allows users to place orders, monitor real-time stock availability, and generate dynamic reports, thereby improving coordination, transparency, and decision-making across the supply chain. Adopting a qualitative methodology, data were collected through direct observation, structured interviews, document analysis, and a literature review. The system was developed using PHP for server-side programming, MySQL for database management, and Visual Studio Code as the primary development environment. System validation through black-box testing confirmed that all functional and usability requirements were met. The implementation results demonstrate that the E-SCM system improves distribution management efficiency by approximately 35%, reduces manual inventory errors by over 40%, and significantly enhances responsiveness to demand fluctuations. Additionally, it strengthens engagement between suppliers and customers by enabling transparent communication and immediate access to accurate data. The findings indicate that E-SCM adoption can serve as a strategic enabler for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to optimize supply chain performance, reduce logistical inefficiencies, and achieve sustainable growth in a competitive digital economy
