Abstract

This research aims to determine the level of graduate user satisfaction with the performance graduates of the PTB FT UNJ Study Program in the non-educational field (construction services). This research was conducted in March to July 2019. This research was conducted to graduates of the PTB FT UNJ Study Program, the research method used was descriptive quantitative method, data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires / questionnaires to graduate users. The population in this research were 70 companies that became workplaces of 127 graduates working in the non-educational field. The sample in this research was 28 companies which were the workplaces of 37 graduates as engineers, estimators, and quantity surveyors assessed by 62 respondents both direct, indirect, and work partners of graduates. The results obtained from this research that the satisfaction of graduates in the ethical aspects of high, satisfaction in the aspect of expertise in the field of science is classified as moderate / sufficient, satisfaction in aspects of English proficiency is low / less, satisfaction of graduates in the aspects of technology & information is high, satisfaction in the aspect of communication ability classified as low / lacking, satisfaction in the aspect of teamwork is high and graduate user satisfaction in the aspect of self-development is classified as moderate / sufficient.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to obtain conception of motivation from graduates of Vocational Education of Building Construction in Faculty of Engineering, State University of Jakarta, to the non-educational work field (construction). It was conducted since Juni to July 2018. This study was conducted on graduates of bachelor degree of Vocational Education of Building Construction, Faculty of Engineering, State University of Jakarta. It uses descriptive method that is qualitative, the data retrieval technique is done by spreading the quistionnaire via google form to make it easier to get the quistionnaire answer. The result obtained from this study is that graduates of Vocational Education of Building Construction have high motivation to the non-educational work field (construction), they are motivatied by desires and ambitions (84%), impulses and needs (83%), hopes and aspirations (85%), exciting activities (84%), awards (80%), environmental influences that affect graduates to work in the non-educational work field (73%). It becomes the result that graduates of Vocational Education of Building Construction, Faculty of Engineering, State University of Jakarta, have a very high motivation to the non-educational work field (construction). Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the relationship between information literacy using the The Big 6 Skills model with student learning outcomes in the subjects of Land Measurement Science and Design Information Building expertise program. The type of research used in this study is associative quantitative research. The method used is a survey method with a correlational approach. The population in this study were students of class X of SMKN 1 Jakarta program. Using the Random Sampling technique the sample is filled with 80 respondents. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between information literacy and learning outcomes as evidenced by: correlation coefficient of 0.615 which is included in the category of strong relationships, the significance value of the correlation coefficient t count = 7.854 and t table = 1.991 which indicates a significant relationship, and the relationship between information literacy and learning outcomes is obtained by the determination coefficient value of 0.38. Thus, it can be said that information literacy factors can affect learning outcomes by 38%, and the rest is influenced by other factors beyond the ability of information literacy. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesesuaian standar sarana dan prasarana kompetensi keahlian DPIB terhadap Permendikbud Nomor 34 Tahun 2018 tentang Standar Nasional SMK/MAK dan terhadap BSNP mengenai instrumen verifikasi untuk penyelenggaraan ujian praktik kejuruan di SMKN 56 Jakarta dan SMKN 35 Jakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dan dokumentasi. Tingkat kesesuaian SMKN 56 Jakarta pada sarana ruang kelas sebesar 75% (sesuai), dan prasarananya 50% (kurang sesuai), sarana ruang praktik komputer 45,83% (kurang sesuai), ruang praktik desain masinal 54,55% (sesuai) dan prasarananya 32,14% (kurang sesuai). Tingkat kesesuaian SMKN 35 Jakarta pada sarana ruang kelas sebesar 75% (sesuai) dan prasarananya 50% (kurang sesuai), sarana ruang praktik komputer 58,3% (sesuai) dan prasarananya 25% (sangat kurang sesuai). Tingkat kesesuaian kondisi fisik SMKN 56 Jakarta pada sarana ruang kelas sebesar 75% (sesuai), ruang praktik komputer 45,83% (kurang sesuai), ruang praktik desain masinal 44,3% (kurang sesuai). This research method is utilizing descriptive quantitative. Information assortment procedures of this examination are by doing observation and documentation. The suitability level of class room facilities on SMKN 56 Jakarta is 75% (suitable), and infrastructure is 50% (less suitable), computer practice room facilities is 45,83% (less suitable), masinal design room is 54,55% (suitable), and infrastructure is 32,14% (less suitable). The suitability level of class room facilities on SMKN 35 Jakarta is 75% (suitable), and infrastructure is 50% (less suitable), practice room facilities is 58,3% (suitable), and infrastructure is 25% (very less suitable). The suitability level of the physical condition of class room facilities on SMKN 56 Jakarta is 75% (suitable), computer practice room facilities is 45,83% (less suitable), and masinal design room is 44,3% (less suitable). The suitability level of the physical condition of class room facilities on SMKN 35 Jakarta is 75% (suitable), practice room facilities is 57,1% (suitable).

Abstract

Communication skills have a crucial role in the context of education, especially in the practice of teaching peer teaching in tertiary institutions. This study aims to analyze problems in the communication skills of prospective teacher students when practicing peer teaching in explaining skills. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive method with data analysis based on scientific journal literature studies and direct observation. The research was conducted on prospective teacher students who carried out peer teaching practices at Jakarta State University. The results of the study show that most of the prospective teacher students face problems in communication skills when practicing peer teaching. These problems include a lack of emphasis on intonation and articulation, as well as a lack of context in providing examples or illustrations of material. The suggested solution is the use of learning media that can improve the communication skills of prospective teacher students in explaining the material. This research is expected to provide insight for future researchers to develop the communication skills of prospective teacher students in the context of teaching practice.

Abstract

Carrying out construction activities is a complicated activity, problems often occur in the implementation of construction projects causing the owner to experience losses, obstacles that are often faced include delays in project completion time, project cost overruns and inconsistencies in the quality and quality of construction projects. As a solution, competent experts are needed who can manage and control construction projects to avoid the obstacles that often occur. Young Construction Management Experts are one of the experts regulated in SKKNI No. 390 of 2015 to manage and control all activities starting from the planning, design, tendering, implementation, to the post-implementation stages of construction projects. This article aims to identify the competencies needed to become a Young Construction Management Expert using the literature study method. The results obtained were 30 competencies of Young Construction Management Experts which were grouped into 3 aspects, namely knowledge aspects, skills aspects and attitude aspects. These 30 competencies were obtained from SKKNI and relevant journals and books.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa bahan pembelajaran job sheet pada praktik instalasi plambing pada mata pelajaran Pelaksanaan dan Pengawasan Kontruksi Properti (PPKP) di SMk Negeri 1 Jakarta yang disesuaikan dengan Standar Kompetensi Kerja Nasional (SKKNI). Metode pengembangan job sheet disebut juga dengan Research and Development (R&D). R&D dilakukan untuk menghasilkan produk atau jasa yang memiliki nilai validitas tinggi karena telah melalui berbagai uji coba sebelumnya. Prosedur pengembangan dilakukan dengan 4 tahapan, yaitu Define, Design, Development, dan Disseminate. Hasil produk ini divalidasi oleh ahli validasi materi dan ahli validasi evaluasi. Analisis data pada validitas ahli menggunakan rumus nilai rata-rata dan kelayakan instrumen menggunakan rumus Aiken’s V. Hasil validasi yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahawa job sheet mendapat skor 87% dengan kategori “sangat layak” oleh ahli materi dan 91% dengan kategori “sangat layak” oleh ahli evaluasi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa job sheet yang dikembangkan memenuhi standar kelayakan dan dapat digunakan oleh guru serta siswa di SMK Negeri 1 Jakarta dalam praktik plambing.

Abstract

Delays in construction projects often arise due to various factors, including inadequate planning, implementation, and supervision. Competent professionals play a crucial role in ensuring the success of all stages of building construction, from planning to execution and monitoring. Therefore, it is essential to involve skilled building engineering experts with the necessary competencies to oversee the entire project. This research aims to identify the required competencies for professionals in the field of building engineering. The literature review method was employed, involving an analysis of various literature sources addressing the same topic, including scholarly journal articles and relevant theses. The selection criteria for the literature review were articles published between 2020 and 2023, available in both English and Indonesian languages. A total of 25 articles were found to align with the research objective. Based on the content analysis of these articles, the most frequently mentioned competencies related to building engineering professionals are Building Information Modeling (BIM), advancements in building technology, effective communication, seismic-resistant building design, structural drawings/designs, structural element work methods, structural load and analysis, and the application of relevant standards in accordance with the nature of the work performed.
