Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan proses mengajar dengan menggunakan Perangkat Natural Reader , menggambarkan peningkatan pelafalan dan kemampuan bicara berbahasa inggris dengan menggunakan Perangkat Natural Reader dan menggambarkan sikap siswa ketika menggunakan perangkat Natural Reader dalam proses pembelajaran. Peneliltian ini dilakukan di SMP Islam Terpadu Dhua’fa Merangin dan Partisipannya adalah siswa kelas 8 khusunya kelas B Tahun Akademik 2015-2016. Siswanya berjumlah 14 orang yang berjenis kelamin Perempuan dan berumur sekitar 13-14 tahun.Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dan dilakukan dengan tiga siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tiga kali pertemuan. Dua pertemuan fokus pada pemberian materi serta perangkat dan satu siklus fokus pada pemberian tes kepada siswa untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa. Didalam pengumpulan data peneliti melakukan observasi, mencatat data, mengambil catatan siswa, rekaman dan tes.Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan nilai siswa dan atmospir kelas didalam mempelajari pelafalan Berbahasa Inggris dan kemampuan Berbicara. Siswanya lebih antusias, aktif, semangat dan percaya diri ketika belajar. Mereka dapat berbahasa inggris dengan baik. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Perangkat Natural Reader dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam melafalkan dan berbicara dalam Bahasa Inggris

Abstract

This study aims to find out how much vocabulary is produced by children aged 20 months. The participants were the daughters of their own researcher named Kahiyang Nur Andifa on the grounds that researchers would easily obtain data. The methodology of this research is descriptive qualitative. Techniques in data collection, researchers use recording tools and records. The results of this study can be concluded that Kahiyang can produce 187 words, clauses and can producesimple sentences in his conversations with people around.

Abstract

The problem that often occurs in the employee performance appraisal process include the subjectivity of decision-making determination of salary increase, especially if some of the employees who have the ability are not much different from the skills and behavior. The use of decision support systems is the determination of salary increases, expected to reduce subjectivity in the decision whether the employee is entitled to a salary rise or not. In its place will be calculated on education, occupation, personality, number of children and length of employment, so expect its employees to human resources terms comparable to the terms of a pre-determined salary increases companies. Decision support systems salary increase determination is made based on the results of the calculation between education, occupation , personality, number of children and length of employment . The process of data calculation is done to determine whether the employee's salary for a raise or not . Aspects are based on data taken with the scope of employees , value raise, raise and process reports. To overcome these problems , then we will develop an application system of setting employee salary increases using the C4.5 algorithm. Making these applications using Code Gear RAD 2009 with a MySQL database . System design using Schematic Diagram, HIPO, DAD, ERD. Abstract

This study reveals about students’ difficulties in English pronunciation experienced by learners whose first language is Indonesia language. The subjects of this study were the seventh grade of students at SMP Islam Terpadu Dhuafa Merangin especially class B. They were males.  The instruments of this study were task, interview and recording. In analyzing the data, the researcher used descriptively and statistically. The findings of this study showed that the students had problems in pronunciation because of their had low motivation, exposure and their attitude in learning English pronunciation. It could be seen from the result of the task when the researcher asked them to pronunce the English words and the result of interview.

Abstract

This study aims to determine 1) students' self-adjustment to community culture, 2) Obstacles faced by students in the process themselves with the cultural adjustment of society. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques using observation. Research results based on data analysis shows 1) Student self-adjustment to society is classified as not good at adapting. Student self-adjustment to the culture of society which is classified as not good evidenced through five indicators consisting of two dimensions. From fifth Of these indicators, only two of them were able to be fulfilled by students while carrying out the real work lecture process. 2) Adjustment constraints students in the process of adjusting to the culture of society are also not good. In this case, students in overcoming obstacles of self-adjustment do not can overcome all the obstacles that exist in adaptation to the culture of the community is proven by four indicators of adjustment constraints self is only one that can be overcome by students. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh proses pembelajaran paket C yang dilakukan di SKB Merangin pada masa pandemi covid 19. Permasalahan dalam pembelajaran   yaitu terletak pada metode yang digunakan, terutama pada program paket C dimana usia warga belajar berbeda-beda dan karakteristik warga belajar yang juga berbeda-beda membuat tutor harus tepat dalam memilih metode pembelajaran. Berdasarkan observasi, kegiatan pembelajaran program Paket C di SKB masih banyak dijumpai peserta didik yang berperilaku kurang disiplin banyaknya peserta didik yang datang terlambat peserta didik yang mengikuti pembelajaran program paket C hanya termotivasi untuk sekedar mendapatkan ijazah. Selain itu penggunaan media pembelajaran yang digunakan pada situasi pandemi Covid 19, terhadap rendahnya motivasi peserta didik dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Dalam pengambilan data peneliti menggunakan beberapa tehnik, yaitu: observasi,wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun informan penelitian meliputi kepala dan tenaga pendidik di SKB Merangin. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penjaminan keabsahan data adalah tehnik Triangulasi.se dangkan untukkendala dalam proses pembelajaran kejar paket C di SKB Merangin, disebabkan masih kuatnya tradisi melangun yang dilakukan warga terutama suku SAD, kurangnya fasilitas berupa ruang kelas atau bangunan untuk tempat belajar dan kurangnya peralatan tulis atau media pembelajaran yang digunakan. Untuk itu diperlukan pemahaman tutor dalam mempersiapkan media pembelajaran yang menarik agar tercipta proses pembelajaran yang menarik dan mengupayakan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan alat tulis yang diperlukan warga belajar.

Abstract

Abstrak Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman literasi awal dan pengenalan bahasa asing, khususnya Bahasa Inggris dasar, pada anak-anak Suku Anak Dalam di Desa Gading Jaya, Kecamatan Tabir Selatan, Kabupaten Merangin. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan sebagai bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat terhadap komunitas adat yang masih memiliki keterbatasan dalam akses pendidikan dan perkembangan literasi. Anak-anak Suku Anak Dalam umumnya mengalami kesulitan dalam berinteraksi serta memahami penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia yang baik dan benar, termasuk dalam pengenalan Bahasa Inggris dasar. Namun demikian, masyarakat Suku Anak Dalam di Desa Gading Jaya mulai menunjukkan perubahan positif terhadap pendidikan dan perkembangan zaman, ditandai dengan meningkatnya minat anak-anak untuk mengikuti pembelajaran di sekolah terdekat. Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan kemampuan literasi dan pengetahuan dasar Bahasa Inggris anak-anak dapat berkembang sehingga mampu mendukung proses belajar dan interaksi sosial mereka di lingkungan masyarakat yang lebih luas. Abstract This community service program aims to improve early literacy understanding and introduce foreign languages, especially basic English, to children of the Suku Anak Dalam community in Gading Jaya Village, Tabir Selatan District, Merangin Regency. The program was conducted as a form of community service for an indigenous community that still faces limitations in educational access and literacy development. Children of the Suku Anak Dalam generally experience difficulties in social interaction and in understanding proper Indonesian language usage, including basic English. Nevertheless, the Suku Anak Dalam community in Gading Jaya Village has begun to show positive changes toward education and modern development, as reflected in the increasing interest of children in attending nearby schools. Through this program, it is expected that children’s literacy skills and basic English knowledge can improve to support their learning process and social interaction within the wider community. Abstract

One of the main challenges in education in Indonesia is the low competence of teachers, especially in rural areas, which impacts the quality of learning. This study aims to analyze the improvement of teacher competence through education and training (Diklat) and its impact on the quality of learning at SDN 050/VII Pauh, Sarolangun Regency. This study used a qualitative method with a case study approach, involving interviews with the principal and eight teacher respondents, observations of classroom and school activities over five days, and analysis of documentation such as training data and student grades. The results showed that training, such as the Independent Curriculum and the use of learning technology, effectively improved teachers' pedagogical (interactive methods) and professional competence. Changes were seen in student participation rates of up to 80%, average increases of 10-15% in Mathematics and Science, and non-academic achievements such as winning sports competitions. Motivational support from teachers and the principal was a contributing factor, but obstacles such as limited facilities (weak internet access, lack of teaching aids) and teachers' non-elementary school educational backgrounds hampered its optimal implementation. In conclusion, this study confirms that contextual teaching and learning-based training effectively improves teachers' pedagogical and professional competence, with a positive impact on learning quality, including increased student participation, academic grades, and non-academic achievements. However, the sustainability of the training's benefits depends on follow-up and infrastructure support. Recommendations: (1) Schools should conduct regular internal training through Teacher Working Groups (KKG) with post-training support to ensure sustainable implementation. (2) Collaboration with universities or NGOs is needed for specialized training for non-Primary Teacher Education teachers and infrastructure improvements such as internet access and teaching aids.
