Abstract

The tourism industry is one of the largest industries globally in the world both in terms of the number of actors and the money circulating in it. It was recorded that around 1.50 billion world tourists traveled in 2019. This research aims to know the tourism development strategies in Menganti Beach based on the level of tourist satisfaction. his research is based on descriptive quantitative method. The data used in this study are qualitative and quantitative data that obtained through literature study, observation, interviews and questionnaires to 100 respondents who had experienced on visiting Menganti Beach. Data were analyzed using Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) and supported by descriptive analysis methods. The results showed that the development strategy is formulated by improving the performance of quadrant I elements that are also the weaknesses of the destination, maintaining the elements of quadrant II which are also the strengths of the destination, and paying attention to the opportunities and threats that the destination has. The development strategy is broadly emphasized on the aspects of strengthening, developing and packaging tourist attractions, maintaining infrastructure performance, improving the quality and quantity of tourism supporting facilities, increasing marketing (promotion), improving the quality of human resources in the field of tourism services, improving organizational and governance systems and developing partnership relation.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini difokuskan pada sosialisasi digital marketing bagi Desa Wisata Tambong dan homestay di Desa Wisata Tambong. Pelatihan yang diberikan mengenai strategi promosi desa wisata melalui media sosial, seperti akun google my business yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kunjungan wisatawan ke daerah tersebut dan memberikan kontribusi pada pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal terutama peningkatan UMKM homestay di Desa Wisata Tambong. Kegiatan sosialiasi dihadiri oleh pihak POKDARWIS, BUMDes dan para pelaku UMKM Homestay dari Desa Tambong, kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan pembuatan akun media sosial dan akun google my business. Pada akhir kegiatan, profil desa wisata sudah muncul pada mesin pencari Google dan dapat diakses melalui Google Maps.

Abstract

This study is a literature review on the Penta-helix in tourism studies, which focuses on dialectical discussions to reconstruct the Penta-helix and generate new ideas. The literature review in this study uses a narrative review to describe each article that has been reviewed and to yield the essence of the papers. The result of this study constructed a new model for the implementation of the five tourism stakeholders, namely the Deep Penta-helix. This model uses the awareness and perspective of local communities to implement tourism development and tourism management.

Abstract

Pemasaran digital sangat penting untuk menjangkau lebih banyak wisatawan, terutama untuk desa wisata seperti Desa Wisata Tambong, Banyuwangi. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman pengelola desa wisata dalam memanfaatkan platform digital sebagai sarana promosi desa wisata. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pemaparan materi dan pendampingan pembuatan akun google my business. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman tentang cara mengidentifikasi potensi wisata, cara membuat paket wisata serta cara memasarkan secara digital. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan motivasi pengelola wisata untuk melakukan pemasaran digital sehingga dapat memperkuat citra destinasi, menarik lebih banyak wisatawan, dan pada akhirnya meningkatkan perekonomian lokal secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and analyze the role of Odong-odong as a means of tourist transportation in Kebumen Regency. The research method used is a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews with relevant stakeholders, as well as relevant literature studies. The results showed that Odong-odong has great potential in increasing tourism visits in Kebumen Regency. The use of Odong-odong provides a unique and enjoyable experience for tourists, especially families with children. Based on the results of the study, the author recommends several strategies to increase the role of Odong-odong as a means of tourist transportation in Kebumen Regency. These recommendations include improving the quality and variety of Odong-odong, providing a special path for Odong-odong, and promotion through social media. In the discussion, research findings were discussed compared to previous research and their relevance to tourism development where the use of odong - odong as tourist transportation can facilitate the access of tourists to the intended tourist destination

Abstract

Homestay is an accommodation business that offers rooms provided by local residents for guests in a certain period of time. By offering a different lodging atmosphere, there are nine criteria recommended by the ASEAN organization as a standardization of the homestay concept. The development of homestay businesses is intensively carried out by the Banyuwangi Regency Government spread throughout tourist villages, but there is a perception that the homestay concept implemented does not meet standards. This study aims to explore the characteristics of homestays spread across Banyuwangi Regency Tourism Villages through the application of the ASEAN Homestay Standard criteria. Through a self-assessment method summarized in 88 statements representing the nine criteria as indicators, homestay owners filled out a questionnaire with a Guttman scale approach. Then, the data were analyzed using SPSS and Excel statistics. The results showed that the level of implementation of the nine ASEAN homestay standard criteria was 83% which was interpreted as having been implemented very well. However, in the "activity" criterion, the implementation of ASEAN homestay standards must be further improved because it has the highest importance weight. This research is expected to contribute ideas and knowledge in the development of science, especially in the field of Homestay Management
