Abstract

Latar belakang: osteoatrhtitis lutut merupakan proses degeneratif yang sering menyebabkan penurunan aktivitas fungsional. Stretching adalah satu teknik yang dipakai dalam mengatasi penurunan aktivitas fungsional. Tujuan: penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui PNF stretching lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan aktivitas fungsional daripada static stretching pada penderita osteoarthritis lutut. Metode: rancangan penelitian ini eksperimental dengan rancangan randomized pre-test and post-test group design. Subjek penelitian adalah 40 orang penderita osteoarthritis lutut grade I-II yang dibagi dua kelompok. Kelompok 1 diberikan PNF stretching dan Kelompok 2 diberikan statis stretching. Penelitian ini dilakukan 3 kali seminggu selama 4 minggu dengan skala WOMAC. Hasil: hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan aktivitas fungsional sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan dengan rerata 62,93±0,67 dan 37,26±0,51 dengan nilai p=0,00. Pada Kelompok 2 didapatkan rerata sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan yaitu 62,86±1,03 dan 45,22±1,26 dengan nilai p=0,00. Artinya, Kelompok 1 dan kelompok 2 sama-sama terjadi peningkatkan aktivitas fungsional secara bermakna. Dari uji independent t-test didapatkan nilai p=0,00 yang berarti ada perbedaan pengaruh pemberian PNF setretching dan static setretching dalam meningkatan aktivitas fungsioanal pada penderita osteoatrhritis lutut dengan selisih rerata Kelompok 1 sebesar 25,66% dan Kelompok 2 sebesar 17,66%. Simpulan: PNF stretching lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan aktivitas fungsional daripada static stretching pada penderita osteoarthritis lutut. Saran: Penelitian ini diharapkan mampu diaplikasikan dalam klinis untuk meningkatkan aktivitas fungsional pada penderia osteoarthritis lutut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Candikuning, Kecamatan Baturiti, Kabupaten Tabanan khususnya 3 Dusun : Kembangmerta, Candikuning 1, Candikuning 2 dengan tujuan : mengetahui proses partisipasi masyarakat petanii sekitar Danau Beratan dalam konservasi sumber daya air, mengetahui bentuk-bentuk partisipasi masyarakat petani sekitar Danau Beratan dalam konservasii sumber daya air, mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi partispasi masyarakat petani sekitar Danau Beratan. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 88 responden yang bermata pencaharian sebagai petanii diambil menggunakan rumus Taro Yamane. Data yang di kumpulkan menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang selanjutkan dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitafif menggunakan skala likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan proses partisipasi masyarakat petani dalam konservasi sumber daya air melalui 4 tahap tahap perencanaan (16%) yang kurang setuju, (59%) setuju, (17%) sangat setuju. Tahap pelaksanaan (11%) kurang setuju, (56%) setuju, (33%) sangat setuju. Tahap evaluasi (61%) setuju, (39%) sangat setuju.  Tahap menikmati hasil (55%) setuju, (45%) sangat setuju. Kedua bentuk partisipasi bentuk pikiran (12%), bentuk harta (48%), bentuk tenaga (40%). Ketiga faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh yaitu faktor mata pencaharian, pendidikan dan kebijakan pemerintah.

Abstract

Background: Lower back pain still occurs in many cyclists. The sitting position is considered to be one of the factors causing complaints of low back pain. This study was conducted to determine the correlation between sitting position and complaints of low back pain in cyclists. Methods: This study employed the narrative review method by collecting ten research articles from the Google Scholar and PubMed databases, identifying keywords using the PEOs format, so that the keywords "Cyclist", "Sitting Position", "Lower Back Pain", and "All Study Design" were used. Results: All articles used were articles published starting in 2010. Seven articles stated that lower back pain occurred more frequently in a sitting position with large lumbar flexion. Six articles stated that the sitting position of a cyclist was affected by the position of the handlebars. Five articles stated that sitting with the lower handlebars resulted in greater lumbar flexion and anterior pelvic tilt. Five articles stated that prolonged lumbar flexion and anterior pelvic tilt resulted in a lower crossed syndrome. Four articles found that lower crossed syndrome contributes to lower back pain. Conclusion: There is a correlation between sitting position and complaints of low back pain in cyclists. However, there are limitations to the article which states that the statistical closeness of the correlation between sitting position and complaints of low back pain in cyclists.

Abstract

Football players should be in good physical condition to support their performance on the pitch. For example, the cardiorespiratory capacity (VO2 max) needed to maintain endurance during the game. An increase in VO2 max indicates the ability of the heart and lungs to function optimally during exercise. Low endurance can cause football players to tire easily. Exercises that can be done to increase VO2 max are circuit training and interval training. Circuit training has a physiological effect on the muscles. They adapt and are automatically able to increase the maximum oxygen volume. Interval training has an effect on the metabolic waste produced by the muscles during rest, which increases oxygen consumption during exercise and increases VO2 max. The aim of this study was to determine the difference in the effect of circuit training and interval training on increasing VO2 max in football players. For the research method, an experimental method was used with a quasi-experimental approach to pre and post test two grub design treatment, the sampling technique used total sampling, a sample of 44 people with a 3x a week training programme for 6 weeks. The research instrument used was the multi-stage fitness test and the data analysis used was the paired samples t-test. Results showed that there was an effect of circuit and interval training on increasing VO2max in footballers (P=0.00 P0.05), with a more significant effect in the circuit group.

Abstract

Kebugaran adalah hal yang paling penting yang dibutuhkan oleh tubuh setiap individu. Tubuh yang bugar akan membantu seseorang dalam menyelesaikan tugas dan pekerjaannya tanpa rasa malas dan lelah yang berlebihan. Tingkat kebugaran fisik Indonesia adalah 4,07% untuk kategori baik. Ini berarti lebih dari 95% kondisi kebugaran jasmani masyarakat Indonesia kurang baik, atau bahkan sangat buruk. Gambaran kondisi kebugaran jasmani pelajar sesuai dengan survey yang dilakukan oleh pusat kebugaran jasmani Nasional tergambar bahwa tingkat kebugaran fisik siswa SD, SMP, SMA atau Sederajat yang memiliki kategori sangat baik adalah 0%, kategori baik 7%, sementara sisanya adalah kategori sedang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh fartlek training terhadap peningkatan kebugaran pada remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian literature review. Pencarian jurnal dilakukan dibeberapa database yaitu google schoolar, Pubmed, dan pedro. Hasil dari penelusuran jurnal didapatkan sebanyak 10 jurnal untuk dilakukan review. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh fartlek training terhadap peningkatan kebugaran pada remaja. Diharapkan dengan adanya penelitian ini dapat menambah referensi pada fisioterapis dalam menentukan program latihan yang tepat untuk meningkatkan kebugaran.

Abstract

Excessive fat in the body can cause the risk of obesity. To determine the condition of body fat, a simple measurement is using the Body Mass Index (BMI). The bigger the body mass, the bigger the volume of blood needed to supply oxygen and food to the tissues of body, thereby increasing blood pressure. Blood pressure is the force exerted by the walls of the arteries by pumping blood away from the heart. Increased blood pressure is also caused by age because entering old age will have a decrease in the cardiovascular system which causes increasing blood pressure. Observational analysis was with cross sectional design. The research sample was taken using a total sampling technique with number of samples 70 people. The research instrument used a digital scale, microtoise staturemeter and aneroid sphygmomanometer. Data analysis used univariate analysis and bivariate analysis, namely the Spearman correlation test. Spearman Rank correlation test showed that there was a significant relation between BMI and blood pressure in the elderly (r = 0.788, p = 0.000). There is a significant relationship between BMI and blood pressure where the increase in BMI is in line with the increase in blood pressure in the elderly.

Abstract

Introduction : Ankle injury is a common case in soccer players. This condition is due to the ankle as an active facilitator playing an important role in the support of movement when playing. This is one of the factors that can decrease proprioceptive. Proprioceptive is the organism's ability to sense the position and movement of joints. Proprioceptive impairment is caused by ankle injuries such as ankle sprains, ankle strains, ankle dislocations and ankle fractures. The condition of the injury was supported by age, gender, BMI, insufficient warm-up, temperature and humidity, excessive exercise, insufficient rest time and inappropriate exercise facilities. The proprioceptive improvement process needs to be carried out in the form of FIFA 11+ proprioceptive training; this exercise is able to provide an increasing effect on neuromuscular and balance so that these exercises can reduce the risk of ankle injury in soccer players. Methods: The study applied experimental with a quasi-experimental approach to pre- and post-test one grub design treatment, sampling technique using purposive sampling, a sample of 21 people with an exercise program 3x a week for 4 weeks. The research instrument used a modified bass dynamic balance test, and the data analysis used descriptive statistical test, normality test and hypothesis testing. Results: Hypothesis testing using paired sample t-test showed that there was an effect of giving proprioceptive training to reduce the risk of ankle injury in soccer players (P=0.00 P<0.05). Conclusion: There is an effect of giving proprioceptive training to reduce the risk of ankle injury in soccer players.

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Plantar fasciitis didefinisikan sebagai gangguan muskulokeletal pada ekstremitas bagian bawah yang melibatkan perubahan inflamasi di plantar fascia karena menahan beban berat dengan waktu yang lama. Penggunaan sepatu dengan hak tingi dapat menimbulkan nyeri dan peradangan pada jaringan ikat di bagian plantar fascia. Plantar fasciitis apabila tidak ditangani dengan baik, maka akan berdampak negatif, pasalnya nyeri yang ditimbulkan akan dapat menganggu aktivitas sehari-hari. Salah satu intervensi fisioterapi yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan menggunakan modalitas terapi yaitu extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT). ESWT adalah salah satu modalitas terapi non-invasif yang menghasilkan gelombang suara berenergi tinggi. Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian ESWT dalam mengurangi nyeri pada pasien plantar fasciitis. Metode : Narrative review dengan metode PICO yang terdiri dari 4 komponen: P (patient, population, problem), I (intervention, prognostic factor, exposure), C (comparison, control), O (outcome) dan berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi. Pencarian artikel jurnal dilakukan di beberapa portal seperti, pubmed, DOAJ, dan sciencedirect. Hasil : Berdasarkan 20 artikel jurnal yang telah di review menghasilkan bahwa intervensi ESWT mempunyai pengaruh dalam menurunkan nyeri pada kasus plantar fasciitis. Kesimpulan : Ada pengaruh pemberian ESWT terhadap penurunan nyeri pada pasien plantar fasciitis.

Research objective: To know the difference in the effect of circuit training and interval training on the increase of the VO2 max in football players. Methods: Experimental with a quasi-experimental approach to pre- and post-test two grub design treatment, sampling technique using total sampling, a sample of 44 people with a training program 3x a week for 6 weeks. The research instrument used was a multi-stage fitness test. Data analysis used was descriptive statistical test, normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing. Results: Hypothesis tests I and II using paired sample t-test showed that there was an effect of circuit training and interval training on the increase of VO2 max in football players (P=0.00 P<0.05). Hypothesis test III using independent samples t-test shows that circuit training has a greater effect than interval training on increasing VO2 max in footballers (P=0.00 P<0.05). Conclusion: Circuit training is more effective than interval training in increasing VO2max. Suggestion: Further analysis of other more varied exercises to increase VO2 max is expected in future research.
