Abstract

Usia Emas disebut juga sebagai masa kanak-kanak awal.  Istilah Anak Usia Dini juga dapat di gunakan untuk merujuk pada anak-anak antara Usia 0 - 8 tahun yang berada pada tahap perkembangan yang rentan dan sedang mengalami pertumbuhan yang cepat dan penting untuk kehidupan masa depan mereka. Salah satu aspek ketrampilan yang perlu di kembangkan adalah ketrampilan proses Sains. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya penggunaan model yang tepat sehingga ketrampilan proses Sains pada anak tercapai secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana peningkatan Ketrampilan proses Sains dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran ATIK. Metode yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Kualitatif dengan pendekatan diskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan cara Observasi, Wawancara dan dokumen foto yang mendukung. Analisis data menggunakan analisis Diskriptif Kualitatif dengan model Miles dan Huberman. Penggunaan Model ATIK terbukti dapat Meningkatkan Ketrampilan Proses Sains di TK Islam Baitushshobirin.

Abstract

Desa wisata merupakan desa yang dijadikan tempat wisata untuk menarik wisatawan berkunjung karena memiliki daya tarik dari desa tersebut. Tujuan dari kegiatan tersebut sebagai salah satunya untuk peningkatan pendapatan warga. Desa Kawunganten Kecamatan Cikaum Kabupaten Subang Provinsi Jawa Barat memiliki daya Tarik dalam pengembangan desa wisata yang berbasis desa wisata budaya lokal (Local Heritage) yang salah satunya potensi cagar budaya Situs Nyimas Kawunganten, Taman Srikandi, dan Taman Arimbi yang mana potensi desa ini dikembangkan berbasis alam, budaya dan juga buatan (Kreatif). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil analisis bahwa Desa Kawunganten dalam pelestarian desa wisata budaya lokal (local heritage) mengusung mempertahankan kearifan lokal salah satunya menggunakan aksara sunda pada tanda Publik di Desa Kawunganten. Tentunya dalam tanda publik dalam Lanskap Lingustik tersebut memiliki makna dan arti pada Desa Kawunganten. Dalam perkembangan desa wisata budaya lokal, tidak hanya mempertahankan kearifan lokal tentu harus mengikuti perkembangan zaman yaitu berkomunikasi menggunakan Bahasa asing, salah satunya dengan mempelajari Bahasa Inggris untuk mempromosikan Desa Wisata Budaya Lokal di Desa Kawunganten

Hipotesis dibuktikan dalamuji coba di lapangan. Metodenya empiris-analitis. Sifatnya adalah teknis.2. Jika tujuannya untuk memperoleh kebijaksanaan akal budi dala kerangka intersubjektif,maka kita perlu langkah historis-hermeneutis. Mengetahui latar belalkang dan menafsirkannya.Metodenya penafsiran. Sifatnya adalah praktis.3. Jila tujuannya untuk memperoleh tindakan yang teratur maka kita perlu langkah refleksi-diri,yakni normatif-analitis. Refleksi berarti mengevaluasi sedangkan “diri” mengacu pada tindakanyang teratur dari subjek. Sifatnya adalah praksis.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of language in the theory of meaning on communication in the education. The aims of the study to examine how theory of meaning emphasize the contextual word and phrases. The study uses qualitative descriptive by using case studies. The sample of the study consisted of 35 students’ on ESP Classroom at Universitas Subang. Data collection techniques by using questionnaires, interview, and observation. The questionnaire used a Likert Skale focus on students’ response regarding the influence of context on word meaning, the effectiveness of visual references. Interviews focus on exploring students’ understanding of context on word meanings and perceptions of referential on their fields of study. Based on the result of study show that the majority of students’ (43%-57%) agree that contextual comprehend significantly influences their focus of the meaning of words. Additionally, the data show that theories of meaning as important in accurately interpreting field-specific vocabulary, enabling them to understand differences in meaning that emerge between contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the English language teaching program integrated into the Mata Kuliah Karakter Unggul (MKKU) at Universitas Subang using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model developed by Stufflebeam. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, the study involved data collection through interviews, questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The findings revealed that the English program aligns well with the university’s character education framework and supports the development of students’ global competencies. The context evaluation indicated that students perceived strong alignment between the course content and the vision and mission of their study programs, as well as its relevance to future professional needs. The input evaluation showed that lecturers possess competencies aligned with their fields of expertise and that learning media were generally supportive, although digital media utilization remains inconsistent. The process evaluation highlighted improvements in students’ English proficiency, character formation, and readiness to face global challenges. The product evaluation confirmed positive outcomes in student engagement, character reinforcement, and oral communication confidence. Despite these strengths, students suggested improvements in speaking and listening activities, interactive learning methods, feedback mechanisms, and access to instructional resources. The study concludes that while the program is effectively structured, continuous enhancement in pedagogical strategies and infrastructure is essential to maximize its impact.

Abstract

The TikTok application is a social media application that contains video content about anything, including some English learning content. English learning media is a tool or method used by teachers to make it easier for students to understand English subject matter, therefore this TikTok application was chosen as a learning Media. This study aims to determine students' perceptions of the use of the TikTok application as a medium for learning English and also to find out whether the TikTok application is used by students as an interesting and interactive media for learning English. The sample in this research was 139 eleventh-grade students of SMK PGRI Subang. This research design used qualitative research methods with a case study approach by getting the data from questionnaires and interviews. Questionnaires were used to determine students' perceptions of the TikTok application as their learning media in learning English, Interviews were used to determine the use of the TikTok application as an interesting and interactive media in learning English. The results show that the number of users of the TikTok application among students is 65.5%, the frequency of students using the TikTok application is 55.4%, the use of English learning media in the TikTok application for students provides a positive learning experience 64%, Using TikTok is easier for students to access video content that contains English, discusses vocabulary, speaking, grammar, which is easy for students to remember 45.3%, TikTok gives students the opportunity to hone their English skills 43.2%. Overall, it shows that the use of TikTok in learning English received a positive response from the majority of students, although there were some who were still doubtful. TikTok has had a positive impact on students in various aspects. The results of interviews regarding participant responses showed positive and varied views regarding the use of the TikTok application as an English learning media. Many participants found this experience enjoyable, beneficial, and improvement the understanding and knowledge of the language. The interactive and entertaining nature of TikTok content makes the learning process interesting and effective.

Abstract

Learning English especially speaking is very difficult for students. There are many components that students must master when learning speaking makes it difficult for students to learn it. Students find many problems when speaking such as speaking anxiety. Speaking anxiety is a feeling of excessive anxiety when students speak English. Hence, this study aims to find the levels and factors that cause speaking anxiety among the students. This study was conducted at one of English Education Study Program of a university located in Subang, West Java, Indonesia, which consisted of 20 students from first, second, third, and fourth year. This descriptive study used questionnaire and interview to obtain the data about students’ speaking anxiety.  In this case, the questionnaire was used to examine the levels of students’ speaking anxiety, while the interview was employed to investigate the factors that causing students’ speaking anxiety. Results from the questionnaire showed that 4 students (20%) scored low, 9 students (45%) scored moderate, and 7 students (35%) scored high. No semester differences were identified in the level of speaking anxiety. Female students exhibited greater nervousness when speaking English compared to male classmates. The interview results revealed three elements contributing to students' speaking anxiety: communication apprehension, test anxiety, and fear of unfavourable evaluation. Communication apprehension is the primary element influencing pupils' speaking anxiety. This study indicates that students need to be aware of their anxiety levels and causes in order to address them. Additionally, they need to possess self-confidence in learning English, particularly in speaking. Keywords: speaking, anxiety, speaking anxiety, students’ speaking anxiety
