Abstract

This research aims to improved recitation achievement in writing Arabic language by language learning based on working together. This research conducted in 2 cycles, each cycles have for components are: Action, obsevation, and reflection. The results showed student achievement in sentence writing improved every cycles. In conclusion that application learning strategy with PBK can improved learning quality for Nahu 2 related to making simpel sentences and appropriate as the rules of Arab fusha. As suggested for PBK can be applicated not only in Nahu 2 learning but also in the other elements arabic language Abstak Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar menulis kalimat dalam bahasa Arab melalui Pembelajaran Bahasa berbasis Kerja sama (PBK). Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, setiap siklus berisi empat komponen, yaitu: perencanaan; aksi/tindakan; observasi; dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil belajar siswa dalam menulis kalimat meningkat dari setiap sik-lusnya. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan strategi mengajar dengan PBK dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Nahu 2 yang menyangkut materi penyusunan kalimat sederhana sesuai kaidah tatabahasa Arab fusha. Disarankan agar PBK dapat diterapkan bukan hanya dalam pembelajaran Nahu 2 tapi juga pada pembelajaran unsur-unsur bahasa Arab yang lain.

Abstract

The use of learning multimedia has numerous advantages, including accommodating variances in student learning styles, allowing students to choose the content to be studied, and allowing students to change their learning speed by selecting particular buttons given in multimedia learning. This study aims to investigate the development of multimedia-based teaching materials in the mastery of linguistic aspects of the understanding of listening to Mandarin. This research method in the form of literature review was conducted based on issues, methodologies, equations and further research proposals. The findings revealed that the understanding of listening to their language after the application of materials that indicate multimedia had an influence on the development of mandarin teaching material materials.So it can be concluded that, multimedia is one of the important tools in teaching understanding listening to mandarin. With the right elements and the right storyboard can help motivate students and improve listening skills.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to evaluate the teacher supervision program based on the CIPP model that consists of context, input, process and product at SDN 35 Talang Kelapa, Banyuasin regency. Determining the effectiveness of the program supervision evaluation process is seen from the level of achievement of the program evaluation objectives that have been determined by the school. This research was a qualitative study that used the CIPP model by evaluating each component: context, input, process and product to achieve an effective supervision program evaluation process. Sources of research data are teachers at SDN 35 Talang Kelapa, Banyuasin Regency. Collecting the research data by using instruments, those were interview and questionnaire. From the results of the study, it showed that the implementation of the teacher supervision program based on the CIPP model (context, input, process and product) was declared that good and effective.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan peningkatan penguasaan kosakata mahasiswa melalui metode pembelajaran Contoh, Latihan, dan Kerja Mandiri (CLK) pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Arab Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas, yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli - Desember 2013. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas mahasiswa Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Arab UNJ sejumlah 24 mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil hasil analisis dapat ditarik kesimpulan sebagai berikut, (1) Pembelajaran morfologi Arab dengan metode penugasan model contoh, latihan, dan kerja mandiri dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu strategi atau cara untuk meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata Bahasa Arab, (2) Dengan metode penugasan model contoh, latihan, dan kerja mandiri para mahasiswa dapat menambah perbendaharaan kosa kata Bahasa arab mereka, serta menggunakan bentukan-bentukan kata dalam kalimat, serta dapat menganalisis teks bahasa arab yang tidak berharakat, (3) Pembelajaran dengan metode penugasan model contoh, latihan, dan kerja mandiri dapat meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata mahasiswa, (4) Pembelajaran Morfologi Arab dengan metode penugasan model contoh, latihan, dan kerja mandiri dapat menambah wacana mahasiswa dan dosen untuk selalu mengeksplore kosakata atau istilah berbahasa Arab yang sesuai dengan perubahan dan bentukan kata berserta konteksnya.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain a model of teaching materials of Arabic writing (kitabah Arabiyah) based on the genre process approach at the State University of Jakarta. The method used is the development research to obtain the model of Arabic writing materials based on the genre process approach. The results showed that students still had difficulties at a fairly high level, such as finding key ideas, developing paragraphs, applying appropriate Arabic rules, finding and selecting the vocabularies that fit the context of the sentence. Students make some mistakes when writing Arabic script, including incorrect writing of letters, selection of verb (fi’il) and noun (isim), mistakes of intended meaning, incomplete sentences, and incomplete paragraphs. The need of students to the learning of Arabic writing shown by the scores of students' needs on the study is 3.90 which means that Arabic writing teaching is needed. The development of Arabic-based teaching material model based on the genre approach is needed as an alternative to problem solving.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data tentang pengaruh program Qaryah Arabiyyah terhadap motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar keterampilan berbahasa Arab mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab Universitas Negeri Jakarta pada semester I Tahun Ajaran 20017 2017–2018, yang di mulai dari bulan November 2017 hingga Januari 2018. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode campuran (mixed methods) dengan model yang digunakan adalah sequential explanatory. Sumber data penelitian adalah 222 mahasiswa yang mengikuti program Qaryah Arabiyyah. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian kuantitatif adalah nilai mata kuliah keterampilan berbahasa meliputi Istima', Kalam, dan Qira'ah pada mahasiswa semester 1 dan semester 2. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data statistik, terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar pada angkatan 2014 ada 26 mahasiswa dan pada angkatan 2015 ada 42 mahasiswa dan pada angkatan 2016 ada 47 mahasiswa. Setelah analisis dilakukan, didapatkan hasil dari dua komponen berpengaruh sebagai berikut : (1) Motivasi belajar mendapat nilai 90,18%, hasil tersebut menandakan bahwa pengaruh program Qaryah Arabiyyah terhadap motivasi belajar berada pada kategori 'berpengaruh', (2) Hasil Belajar mendapat nilai 86,26%, hasil tersebut menandakan bahwa pengaruh program Qaryah Arbiyyah terhadap hasil belajar berada pada kategori 'sangat berpengaruh'. Setelah dilakukan penghitungan interpretasi pada dua komponen tersebut, didapati hasil 88,22% untuk pengaruh program Qaryah Arabiyyah, hasil tersebut menandakan bahwa pelaksanaan Qaryah Arabiyyah berada pada kategori 'sangat berpengaruh'. Hasil Penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa program Qaryah Arabiyyah adalah program yang bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar keterampilan berbahasa Arab mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab, Universitas Negeri Jakarta

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the 3rd Qaryah ‘Arabīyah (QA) program carried out by the Arabic Language Education Study Program, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. This QA activity has been carried out for 3 years ago. The method used in this study is program evaluation using the CIPP model which consists of 4 component elements, namely Context, Input, Process, and Product. The results of the study show the following: (1) Context evaluation got a value of 73.6%, indicating that the context evaluation was in a Good category; (2) Evaluation of input scores 68.7%, these results indicate that evaluation of inputs is in a Good category; (3). Process evaluation gets a value of 67.7%, which indicates that the Evaluation Process is in a Good category; 4) Product evaluation gets a value of 73.7%, which indicates that the product evaluation is in a Good category. Based on the calculation of the interpretation of the four components, a result of 74.4% was found for the evaluation of the QA, these results indicate that the implementation of the 3rd QA is in the category of Good. The results of the study indicate that the QA program is a program that is useful for increasing students' learning motivation and Arabic language competence because of the creation of a good Arabic speaking environment.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a CEFR-based Semester Learning Plan (RPS) on guided writing (al-kitābah al-muqayyadah or Kitābah 1) course by using blended learning. This study uses a research and development method based on the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation) by limiting the stages to (1) need analysis of the fifth-semester students of Arabic Language Education Study Program, Universitas Negeri Jakarta in RPS of Kitābah 1; (2) design and development for RPS of Kitābah 1 which is adjusted to CEFR level A1 and blended learning; (3) product assessment conducted by expert reviewers. Based on the needs analysis obtained from data of 20 students, the need index for RPS of Kitābah 1 with blended learning models is 2.6 (on a scale of 1–3). RPS based on the CEFR for Kitābah 1 aims to make students have the ability to arrange words and phrases into simple sentences and write paragraphs in a guided manner. Finally, based on the expert’s assessment, the score was 4.19 (on a scale of 1–5) in the very good category. Thus, the RPS of Kitābah 1 can be developed and suitable for use.

Abstract

The ability to translate is one of the language skills that involves two languages both source language and the target language. This skill requires a good mastery of both languages, so it takes a lot of practice and adequate exercise. Learning Arabic-Indonesian translation based on a collaborative learning approach is one way that can be taken to improve the students’ ability in translating. This research was conducted to develop an instructional design model of Arabic-Indonesian translation based on the collaborative learning method. The research method applied was the Research and Development. The data collection techniques were observations, interviews, and questionnaires. The data analysis of qualitative and quantitative approaches was employed. Based on the results obtained that there is a significant increase students' ability in translating Arabic text into the text of Indonesia based on the significance test the average difference using t-test obtained t-test of 11.02 greater than t-table 2.68, which means that there are significant differences between the average value of the pretest and posttest. Based on the research finding, a conclusion can be drawn that field development constitutes the product of the learning model of Arabic-Indonesian translation for Arabic Department students of Jakarta State University.

Abstract

The aim of this study is headed to decide students' perceptions by using Kahoot! in learning English and it is about to seek for the problems of the use of it. This study uses a qualitative research approach. The subjects of this study; there are 10 students of the Academy of English; English Major Institute. Data are collected by using the open-ended interview. The data analysis within this study uses a qualitative descriptive. For analysing the data, this study refers to be coding analysis consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and the drawn conclusion. This research reveals that, the benefits of using Kahoot! as follow: (1) having a positive competition, (2) helping students to be focusing more, (3) constructing a good situation in the classroom (4) encouraging & motivating students to keep learning more. Then, several of problems which is the issue of using Kahoot! they are (1) the internet connection is not stable, and (2) having more time for teaching by using it beforehand. Keywords:  Kahoot, Games-based Learning Application, Students’ Point of View
