Abstract

Background: Elderly Group is included into nutritional susceptible group because of specific feature causing this group easily affected by malnutrition. Age increasing in someone causes a low metabolism velocity. It can be solved by giving nutritional need adequate for elderly. Thus, paying attention to con-sumption pattern is an important thing to keep their nutritional status. Aside from giving a good nutrition, physical activity is also a thing that should be paid attention to in elderly. The aims of this research are for consumption pattern, physical activity, nutritional status, and relation between consumption pattern and physical activity with nutritional status in elderly in Panti Sosial Trena Werdha (PTSW) Unit Abiyoso Yogyakarta, at year 2011. Methods: Cross sectional was chosen as the design of this research. Population in this research was all elderly in PTSW Unit Abiyoso Yogyakarta. Sample taken in this research was population that filled inclu-sion criteria established by the researcher, so that sample obtained 53 people. Instrument research used was direct measure and questionnaire interview, and analyze used was Chi square. Results: Based on bi-variety test, there is no significant relation between consumption pattern and nutri-tional status, seen from RP=0,811 with Confident Interval 0,479<RP<1,372. And there is no significant relation between physical activity and nutritional status, seen from RP= 1,005 with Confident Interval 0,638<RP<1,585. Conclusion: There is no significant relation between consumption patterns and physical activity with nutritional status in elderly in Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha (PSTW) Unit Abiyoso Yogyakarta, at year 2011. Abstract

Background: Hypertension or high blood pressure is heart and blood vessel disorder marked by increasing of blood pressure. Consequence from this incident is occurrence of other accompanying illness. Hypertension may occur in people without age and sex limitation until it needs good handling. High prevalence of childbearing age woman suffer from hypertension in Puskesmas Umbulharjo I (Public Health Service) has drove writer to make study about factors related with hypertension incident in childbearing age woman in Puskesmas Umbulharjo I Yogyakarta. Objective of this research is to recognize correlation between history of hypertension family, obesity, and hormonal contraception usage, and hypertension incident of childbearing age woman in Puskesmas Umbulharjo I Yogyakarta. Method: This was observational analytic research using cross sectional approach. Population of this study is age group which medicinize in common polyclinic of Puskesmas Umbulharjo I Yogyakarta. Sample was taken using Accidental Sampling method. Sample comprised of childbearing age woman who suffering hypertension (having problem) and those who have not hypertension problem (having not problem), and meet respondent inclusion criterion, that resulted of 88 women. Result: Result of this study showed there is no correlation between history of hypertension family with hypertension incident, that is p=0,158, > ?=0,05, calculated chi square is 1.992 < tabulated chi square of 3,481. There is correlation between obesity and hypertension incident with p value of 0,007 < ?=0,05, and calculated chi square is 7,298 > tabulated Chi Square of 3,481. There is no correlation between hormonal contraception and hypertension incident with value of p= 0,762 > ?=0.05, and calculated Chi Square of 0.091 < tabulated Chi Square of 3,481. Conclusion: There was no correlation between history of hypertension family and hormonal contraception with hypertension incident. There is correlation between obesity and hypertension incident. Abstract

Background: leprosy is a chronic disease caused by the bacteria Mycobacterium leprae theattacks the peripheral nerves, the skin and other tissue except the central nervous system.Indonesia has third position as great number of cases of leprosy after India and Brazil at years2005 there is 19.695 cases. In years 2007, prevalence of leprosy in Indonesia was 1,05 caseper 10.000 population. The Tapin regency was the leprosy endemic area, when years by yearsnewly detected cases. The aim of this research to determine the relationship of physicalcondition of the house, fresh water instalation and characteristic of community with cases ofleprosy in Tapin Regency South Borneo.Method : Analityc observational studies using case-control. The act of determining the casesample is taken by using the totality sample and the act of determining the control sample istaken by using the purposive sample. The case number of 31 people and the control number of62 people.Results: Based on result of bivariate test there are 3 meaningful variables statisticallyrelationship with cases of leprosy in Tapin Regency South Borneo, i.e phisical home condition(p=0,013), history of contact (p=0,000) and level of education (p=0,002). The variables notrelated with cases of leprosy in Tapin Regency South Borneo, i.e fresh water instalation(p=0,099), age (p=0,226) and occupation (p=0,559). The result of multivariate test there are 3the most dominant variable within spread of leprosy in Tapin Regency South Borneo, i.e thehistory of contact (p=0,002), level of education (p=0,006) and phisical home condition (p=0,043).Conclusion: There was significant relation between the phisical home condition, history ofcontact and level of education with cases of leprosy in Tapin Regency South Borneo. Thehistory of contact, level of education and phisical home condition was the most dominant casesof leprosy in Tapin Regency South Borneo.Keyword: home, water, age, contact, education and occupation.

Abstract

Background: Growing and expanding hopital may be efficiently and effectively managed, it is requiredto be conducted to face the tight competition in world of health service. If the hospital wish to survive in the competition, they need to recount the existing hospital tariff previously, that is by using competitive tariff model calculation. Hospital of PKU Muhammadiyah Unit I Yogyakarta divides HD tariff into two parts, these are Single Use and Re Use tariff. There are cost sharing differences between HD tariff in hospital and government. In this research, the reseacher only focuses on HD tariff of Re Use in order to reduce cost sharing. All this time, the hospital has never counted different cost. It can create lose for the hospital. th s researcher interest to analyze the cost sharing of hemodialisis tariff calculation for poor in public hospital of PKU Muhammadiyah Unit I Yogyakarta. Methode: This research type is descriptive research qualitative which analyzed real expense by using real cost methode and difference which is burdened by patien toward real tariff, meanwhile opinion about cost sharing is taken by interview with superintendent finance and superintendent of hemodialisis unit using interview method. Resulth: this research show the real tariff equal to Rp.912.571 while tariff released by hospital equal to Rp.575.000, and difference between second tariff is Rp.337.751, while tariff given by government is Rp.528.067 and difference with the real tariff equal to Rp.384.684. Conclusion: that unit based cost tariff higher than tariff given by hospital at this time, the biggest expense is component for examines or substance used up wear. Abstract

Background: Hospitals in organizing the efforts of health services will result in waste that couldaffect the surrounding environment, so it needs a good waste management efforts. The successof waste management is influenced by the behavior of nurses in performing particular medicalwaste specially. The waste management is good and right by the nurses is basically able todistinguish non-medical and medical waste. Factors knowledge and attitude is one factor in theformation of nurse behavior disposal of medical waste in hospitals. This study aims to determinethe knowledge, attitudes and behavior of nurses, determine the relationship of knowledge todetermine the relationship of behavior and attitudes to the behavior of nurses in medical wastedisposal in PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital of Yogyakarta.Methods: This study was an observational analytic, using cross sectional approach. Theresearch tool was used quesionnaire. The population in this study was nurse as many as 155people and sample as many as 60 people who were on morning shift. Analysis of the data usingunivariate analysis using frequency distributions and bivariate analysis using the Kendall taucorrelation test.Results: There was a relationship between the level of knowledge of the behavior of caregiversin the dump medical waste with coeffisien correlation of 0.373 with a significant value (?) are0.002 which indicates that the value of (?) are smaller than the value of alpha (?). There was alink attitudes with behavior of nurses in the disposal of medical waste with coeffisien correlationis 0.414 with a significant value (?) are 0.000 which indicates that the value of (?) are smallerthan the value of alpha (?).Conclusion: There was a relationship between knowledge of the behavior of nurses in medicalwaste disposal in PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital of Yogyakarta. There was a relationshipbetween attitudes to the behavior of nurses in medical waste disposal in PKU MuhammadiyahHospital of Yogyakarta.Keywords: Knowledge, Attitudes, Behavior, Medical Waste.

Abstract

Background: human reseources needed in hospitals provide care to the patient, the nurse workforce. The nurse was human resources that occupy the top in terms of the number of order thoughout the hospital. One the problems in worked on each worker that was exhausted. Problems in work can effect the level of performance of a worker. With the performance assessment we can know the performance levels that are generated on each worker in the work. Methods: this study used methods of observastional analytic cross-sectional approach with cross. Technique sampling used totally sampling, the sampling as a whole to serve as responder research. Data obtaind from the questionnaire the conducted analysis of chi-square with a 95% level of value (p<0,05). Results: based on results of research is the relationship between the fatigue of work performance wiyh the result 0,038” or value p the Ho<0.05 Ha was rejected and accepted, than there is a significant relationship between the fatigue of work performance. Magnitude of the relationship of two variables is 2,26%. Relationship between the fatigue of work with high performance was not good, but on a very meaningful work fatigue experienced low relationship that is less meaningful because, get results with low fatigue performance are not good. The level of errors in the generate 1,441. Conclucions: (a) there was a significant relationship between the fatigue performances of working with nurses in the inpatient ward. (b) A high work fatigue more dominant has a relationship to the performance of the nurse. Keyword: job burnout, performance, Nurses

According Permenkes No. 269/Menkes/Per/III/2008 about medical records, medical records are files that contain records and documents concerning patient identification, examination, treatment, action and other services that have been given to the patient. The main purpose of medical records is as evidence of disease progression and treatment of patients who have been granted, means of communication among the health workers who provide parawatan to the patient, the source of information for research and education, as well as the source of the data collection of health statistics (WHO, 2002). The primary responsibility will be the completeness of medical records lies in the responsible physician treat the patient. In previous studies, there is still a problem in the charging file medical records of inpatients who sometimes can not be filled by a physician. The purpose of this study is to determine the cause of the incompleteness of filling the patients medical record file PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Yogyakarta.Methods: This was a non-experimental research qualitative methods. This study used cross-sectional study design. The population in this study is to file medical records. The sample in this study is an incomplete file fill in May 2010. Respondents in this research are specialists, doctors who served in internal medicine ward, and medical records officers. Tested the validity of qualitative data through triangulation techniques.Results: The percentage of incompleteness of medical records file charging Disease Section PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Yogyakarta is 40.43%. The cause of the incompleteness of medical records file charging Disease Section is a limitation of time and indiscipline health workers to the completeness of filling medical record file. Conclusions: Completeness of medical record file filling very important to set the course of activities and communication between relevant personnel as the basis of quality of service. The factors that become obstacles to overcome if all the officers realized the importance of completeness of filling the medical record file and run it. Keywords : incompleteness, Causes, Medical Records

Abstract

AbstractBackground: Leptospirosis is an acute infectious disease that can infect humans and animals (zoonoses). The cause of the disease is Leptospira. Leptospirosis is spread all over the world, including Indonesia. One area in Yogyakarta Province is a region of leptospirosis is endemic to the events Sleman District cases constantly increasing. Spatial analysis is an analysis and description of the geography of disease data with regard to population distribution, the distribution of environmental risk factors, ecosystem, social and economic, as well as analysis of relationships between variables. Objective to analyze the incidence of the disease leptospirosis spatially and risk factors Sleman District of Yogyakarta Province in 2011.Methods: The study was descriptive research aimed to describe and either map leptospirosis disease events in Sleman District of Yogyakarta Province in 2011. The data used in this research was from the Sleman District Health Office. Sample size of this research was 61 leptospirosis patients.Results: Patients with leptospirosis was highest in Moyodan. Spatial analysis showed most leptospirosis occurs in locations with pet ownership (59,1%), the presence of rat (85,2%), vegetation (100%), and occurred in the location of the trenches / ditches around the house (47,5%).Conclusion: It should be done to inform the public about the disease leptospirosis, and Public Health Service Sleman need to develop early warning systems (SKD) so that more optimal disease eradication.Keywords : zoonoses, leptospirosis, spatial analysis, risk factors.
