Abstract

In a Return to Base (RTB) situation, aircraft needs to immediately fly back to its origin airport. Since there is no published flight procedure for an RTB, an Air Traffic Controller (ATC) will assist the pilot for the flight procedure to fly. The objective of this work is to generate a flight trajectory in RTB situation based on the available airport flight procedures (departure and arrival) in Kertajati airport. The Dubins Path was used as a method to generate the flight trajectory and supported by the Vector-Field Methodology. The Python programming simulation was used to simulate the flight trajectory generation in the normal condition, second closest waypoint condition, and different parameters value condition. The trajectory was simulated based on flight characteristic of a single engine aircraft (Cesna 172) and multi-engine aircrafts (Boeing 737-800NG). The simulation results show that the Dubins Path and Vector-Field methodology success to generate the flight trajectory in different types of condition and parameters. The increase in aircraft velocity and the decrease in aircraft bank angle caused an increase in the aircraft turning radius. While, the decrease in aircraft flight path angle caused increase in the length of Dubins Path line.

Abstract

Limitations in writing skills can arise because of the difficulty of mastering these language skills compared to language skills. This devotion aims to provide knowledge and skills in writing scientific articles of papers. The approach used in dedication to writing this scientific paper is Service Learning (SL). This service is carried out through the stages of providing a number of materials on how and tricks to write papers, providing opportunities for each participant in practical training in each session and reflecting, and guiding participants to complete papers. While the results of this dedication students have knowledge and understanding of preparing papers, the ability to compile papers, and have the ability to access various references from various sources. The result of this activity is that students are able to write papers properly and correctly and apply them in the academic world.

Abstract

Religious moderation must be understood contextually not textually, meaning that moderation in religion in Indonesia is not a moderate Indonesia, but an understanding of religion must be moderate. The purpose of this research is to find out the basic concepts of religious moderation and the characteristics contained in it. This type of research uses a descriptive qualitative, research method uses a literature review. The data collection method uses documentation. Researchers use content analysis techniques. The results concluded that religious moderation provides an understanding that as a Muslim tolerating fellow religious people, and not discriminating between races, ethnicities, and religions, also teaches how we think dynamically and innovatively. This moderation concept will bring Indonesia in a better direction, so that there is no discrimination in diversity and creates a sense of security and comfort. This research contributes as enrichment material and knowledge information for readers and academics related to the urgency of the concept (paradigm) of religious moderation and its implications in everyday life.

Abstract

Roads are land transportation infrastructure which includes all parts of the road including its complementary buildings which are designated for land vehicle traffic except railroads. In general, there are 2 types of road pavement structures in Indonesia, namely rigid pavement with the main material being concrete, then flexible pavement with the main material being a mixture of asphalt or Asphalt concrete. Asphalt mixture consists of several aggregates of a certain size and asphalt as a binder. Asphalt is generally made from the process of refining petroleum, but the longer the availability of petroleum will be depleted and increasingly expensive. This problem opened the idea of developing polymer modified asphalt by adding polymer ingredients to reduce the use of petroleum and increase the quality of asphalt. The Ministry of PUPR through the Director General of Highways applies rules regarding asphalt with PG70 polymer modification through the 2018 General Specifications. In this study a marshall test was carried out on PG70 polymer modified asphalt used for the Sidoarjo - Malang Road preservation project with pen 60-70 oil asphalt as a comparison. The results obtained by asphalt concrete with PG70 polymer modified asphalt have a greater marshall quotient value proving that PG70 polymer modified asphalt has better quality than asphalt concrete with pen 60/70 oil asphalt.

Abstract

Abstrak Kabupaten Nganjuk merupakan salah satu Kabupaten yang terletak di Provinsi Jawa Timur, yang memiliki kondisi dan struktur tanah yang cukup produktif untuk berbagai jenis tanaman, baik tanaman pangan maupun tanaman perkebunan sehingga sangat menunjang pertumbuhan ekonomi di bidang pertanian. Pertumbuhan ekonomi yang cukup pesat di Kabupaten Nganjuk mengakibatkan meningkatnya volume lalu lintas yang berpengaruh pada kelancaran berkendara di sejumlah jalan Kabupaten Nganjuk yang mengakibatkan kemacetan terutama kegiatan perdagangan yang sangat padat. Berdasarkan pengolahan representasi grafis hubungan volume, kecepatan dan kepadatan tersebut di atas, model terbaik untuk menggambarkan kepadatan kemacetan lalu lintas dalam kondisi jenuh (Dj) adalah model Greenshield yang memperoleh nilai antara 148.383 hingga 233.981 smp/km, sedangkan model Greenberg mencapai nilai kepadatan 410.644 – 2330.903 smp/km pada kondisi kemacetan tinggi tersebut. Dengan demikian metode Greenshields sudah cukup dan layak digunakan dalam menganalisis karakteristik lalu lintas Jalan Panglima Sudirman - Jalan Bengawan Solo Nganjuk.
