Abstract

This paper contains a spiritual crisis that is running rampant in modern times. Because modernization not only encourages economic progress, technology and science but also creates a spiritual crisis that makes life feel empty, and meaningless. The purpose of this paper is to understand what are the main problems that caused the spiritual crisis and how Islamic psychotherapy comes from the teachings of the Qur'an and the Traditions of the Holy Prophet. and a life of Sufism that continues to strive to draw closer to God Almighty can be a solution in overcoming the spiritual crisis suffered by modern humans today. Sufism with its zuhud attitude will eliminate the fetters of love of the world that undermine the human soul and Islamic psychotherapy will be able to fill the empty human heart and empty with spiritual values that have been lost from him.

Abstract

Talking about  freedom, freedom can have many meanings, depending on which  perspective it sees. If wrong  in looking,  then  the  freedom can  be  legitimacy  to do  something that  is not  good.  For this reason understanding freedom with proper  understanding becomes very important. Freedom in the philosophical view of existentialism is interesting to be examined since  this philosophy examines human beings  in terms  of their subjectivity so that it will provide an understanding of freedom not only philosophically which is theoretical but also in the ethical  realm  that really touches human life in real. The two figures whose thoughts are discussed in this study are representative of two different  schools  of existentialism, atheist  / non-religious existence and theistic  / religious existentialism. So this study will also present not only an understanding of freedom from an existentialist perspective but also  to see  how  a concept is viewed  by two  contradictory beliefs.  Muhammad Iqbal who built his thoughts with a firm belief in God and Jean Paul Sartre who tried to keep  people from being dependent on God with their atheistic  beliefs. The problem in this research, are: 1. How is human’s freedom in the philosophy of existentialism of Muhammad Iqbal and  Jean  Paul Sartre? 2. What are the similarities  and differences of the concept of human’s freedom according to Muhammad Iqbal and Jean Paul Sartre? To answer the  research  problem formulation above  is done  library research (library  research), by using  comparative method. The results of the research are: 1. Existentialism  Muhammad Iqbal is theistic existence of theistic. This characteristic of existentialism is very visible in the  idea  of “khudi” philosophy.  Khudi / self in Iqbal’s view is unique, free and creative. The freedom for him is a means to achieve the existence of the ultimate  self is man as niyabati divine/ representative of God on this earth. The existentialism of Jean Paul Sartre is representative of the atheistic  existentialism style. Because this concept departs from the idea that human’s freedom is absolute, then if there is a God man is not free. God’s power  will deprive human’s freedom. The foundation of Sartre’s concept of existentialism is that existence precedes the essence. Because man  is a self-conscious existence that he is free and responsible for his freedom. 2. The thoughts of these two figures have similarities,  namely  a) Equally look at human’s existence from the point of view subjectivity. So according to them  human’s existence is a free self and responsible for their actions. In other words, freedom is a human’s existence, b) His philosophy contains an ethical value that instills the importance of humanity. That every human being has responsibility is not only for himself but for all humans. The differences are: a) God’s existence in Iqbal’s view requires human’s existence, whereas for Sartre  the  existence of God eliminates the  existence of man  as an individual  who  has  absolute freedom, b) Iqbal’s freedom culminates in an approach to God as the vigerence of God. While Sartre’s freedom is an absolute freedom whose goal is purely freedom itself, the freedom to determine without being attached to anything, c) The freedom of others for Iqbal is a means of achieving true freedom. Meanwhile, Sartre argues that the freedom of others is a threat to his freedom.

Abstract

Mosques play an important role in the life of Muslim communities, not only as places of worship but also as centers of socio-religious activities. Mosque empowerment is needed to strengthen the function of mosques in various aspects of community life. This research aims to explore and analyze community participation in empowering mosques with a narrative study regarding the implementation of mosque-based Community Service Programs (KKN) at the Al-Muttaqin Mosque, Renah Lebar. The main focus of this research is to understand how community involvement in KKN activities can influence mosque empowerment and community capacity development. The research method used is a narrative study approach which involves in-depth interviews, observation and documentation of various stakeholders, including mosque members, KKN students and the surrounding community. The research results show that community participation in mosque-based KKN programs not only improves the function and role of mosques in the community but also strengthens social ties and motivates the community to be more active in religious and social activities. This research concludes that mosque-based KKN can be an effective model for community empowerment, provided there is careful planning and good collaboration between all parties involved. It is hoped that these findings can contribute to the development of mosque-based community empowerment programs in other areas.

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) adalah mata kuliah dalam pendidikan tinggi yang bertujuan untuk menerapkan pengetahuan yang telah dipelajari di perguruan tinggi secara langsung dalam masyarakat. Program KKN ini memungkinkan mahasiswa untuk terlibat dalam kegiatan sosial dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. KKN berbasis masjid merupakan salah satu jenis program KKN yang memfokuskan kegiatan- kegiatannya di masjid. Masjid dipilih sebagai pusat kegiatan karena memiliki peranan penting dalam pembinaan agama dan sosial masyarakat. Program ini bertujuan untuk membangun kesadaran beragama sejak usia dini dengan harapan anak –anak dapat mengintegrasikan nilai- nilai keagamaan dalam kehidupan sehari –hari. Melakui kegiatan tersebut mahasiswa KKN kelompok 16 melaksanakan berbagai program seperti belajar mengaji menjalankan solat berja’maah, menghapal ayat pendek dan menggunakan metode belajar sambil bermain agar anak- anak tidak merasa bosan. Selain itu mahasiswa juga mengadakan lomba dalam rangka menyambut 1 Muharam. Acara ini bukan hanya bertujuan untuk memperingati tahun baru islam, tetapi juga untuk membangkitkan semangat anak- anak dalam beribadah dan beragama. Hasil dari kegiatan tersebut terlihat dalam peningkatan kebiasaan anak- anak, seperti lebih sering mengaji, lebih tertip beribadah, dan memahami pentingnya ibadah, dalam kehidupan sehari- hari.

Abstract

Penurunan akhlak di kalangan anak-anak menjadi tantangan besar di era modern akibat pengaruh negatif dari teknologi dan lingkungan sosial yang kurang mendukung. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membina akhlak anak-anak melalui strategi pentas seni Islami. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development) yang menekankan pemberdayaan masyarakat dengan memanfaatkan aset lokal. Program ini diterapkan di TPQ Gang Pematang Keramat, Bengkulu, dengan mengadakan kegiatan seperti nasyid, tarian adat Islami, dan penampilan Islam Ceria. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pentas seni Islami efektif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai keislaman seperti Rukun Islam, Rukun Iman, serta membentuk karakter anak yang religius, disiplin, dan memiliki semangat belajar. Kegiatan ini juga memperkuat hubungan anak-anak dengan budaya lokal dan nilai spiritual.

Abstract

Muharram fair dilaksanakan sebagai bagian dari program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) di Desa Pelajau, Kecamatan Karang Tinggi, Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah, bertujuan menghidupkan nilai hijrah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Nilai hijrah, dipahami sebagai perubahan menuju kebaikan yang mencakup aspek spiritual, moral, sosial, dan budaya, disosialisasikan melalui berbagai lomba seperti adzan, hafalan surah pendek atau sambung ayat, busana muslim, dan mewarnai kaligrafi. Program ini dirancang untuk membangun karakter dan moralitas generasi muda serta meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat, khususnya anak-anak, dalam memaknai dan menerapkan nilai-nilai hijrah. Dukungan dari tokoh agama dan perangkat desa memperkuat potensi program ini sebagai katalisator perubahan sosial. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan keberhasilan Muharram Fair dalam mencapai tujuan utamanya, di mana peserta berhasil diedukasi tentang pentingnya hijrah dalam konteks modern. Meskipun terdapat kendala seperti rendahnya partisipasi dalam kegiatan edukatif dan keterbatasan sumber daya, hal ini tidak menghambat kesuksesan acara. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga mempererat hubungan antar peserta dan komunitas, serta meningkatkan kesadaran akan nilai-nilai Islam yang relevan dalam kehidupan kontemporer, menghidupkan kembali semangat masyarakat dalam menyambut tahun baru Islam.

Abstract

This article explores the ethical thought of Murtadha Muthahhari, a 20th century Islamic scholar from Iran. The study aims to explore Muthahhari's views on morality and human responsibility, which form the basis of ethical behavior in social and religious contexts. Using qualitative research methods and text analysis, the study found that Muthahhari viewed ethics as a fundamental foundation for the formation of civilized and responsible human behavior. He emphasizes the importance of self-awareness as the first step to understanding true morality, which is aligned with the values of faith. The study also shows the relevance of Muthahhari's thought to contemporary moral challenges, particularly in building a just and moral society. By emphasizing the close relationship between faith, reason, and social responsibility, this study provides a deep insight into how Islamic values can be applied in the face of the complexities of modern life.
